Mini-Suite with Balcony Cabins 17 Reviews
Twin beds which make up into a queen-size bed, a private balcony, refrigerator, and TV make these accommodations like a home away from home.

Small, but comfy. During the rough seas, it was NOISY at night. For almost 48 hours, we got practically no sleep.

Grand Princess or Not ? by Gary Spencer
Cabin was a mini suite which is about 50% bigger than the size of a normal cabin. Extra space was paramount when there are 2 children in my opinion, if only one you may get away with any cabin. Cabin stewardess was really happy and polite and would do anything for you, well almost. Clean, well laid out, 2 flat screen tv's, sofa bed and a bed that came out of the ceiling to make a top bunk. Balcony was around 5 sq m, a little smaller than anticipated and fairly squashed with 4 chairs & table. Also had a mini fridge, bathroom with bath and shower over, an adequate open wardrobe, and 7 small drawers for things. Also a coffee table and chair in the room with sofa. Bed was 2 singles put together so was an extra large king size and had a very comfortable mattress. Excellent but you pay the extra for it.  Read entire member review.
Cabin D712 Mini suite - great having larger bathroom with tub.  Read entire member review.
Quiet location, near the aft stairs/elevators. Considerable vibration from thrusters during docking and also infrequent noise from lifeboat cranes below cabin.  Read entire member review.
A Grand Vacation by dshefter

Our cabin was very nice. Probably the biggest bathroom I've ever had on a cruise. Plenty of space for our belongings.

E720 is a category AD mini-suite on Emerald deck. This category of cabin had a sheltered veranda that protects from rain and sea spray. The cabin has a couch and two chairs for sitting. While there is some noise from the Vista Lounge one deck below, it was not objectionable. When operated, the stern side thrusters are noisy and vibrate a lot. Otherwise the cabin is fine.  Read entire member review.
Covered balcony on Emerald Deck, double depth, 4 chairs and a table. Lots of ship noise, as you are right over the thrusters, so you hear the ship dock quite loudly. Bed and sofa worn, room otherwise very nice, standard bathroom.  Read entire member review.

Fine mini suite but we had a lot of noise from entertainment in the Vista Lounge below.

We liked this cabin a lot. Bed, desk, couch, two flatscreen tvs and fridge. Bathroom had a tub and two of us could actually be in the bathroom or shower at the same time. The overly friendly shower curtain, it liked to wrap around you, so prevalent in the Island mini-suites was missing here. The air vent over the tub kept the curtain up against the tub. The balcony, fully covered, had a small round table, two chairs and two of the new style balcony loungers. It was much bigger than the Dolphin mini on the Island during our first Panama Canal cruise and bigger than the bumpout mini on the Island Alaska cruise. Because of our lower luggage total on this cruise we actually had a lot of extra counter, closet and floor space on this cruise. This room actually had a sleeper sofa and a pull down bunk bed over the sofa. Two flat screen tvs, one pointed to the bed, one pointed to the sofa with lots of connections on the back. The refrigerator was actually much bigger than I remember on the Sun and Island class. Plenty of room for a 6 pack of cans, two water bottles and a couple of sparkling water bottles.  Read entire member review.
Located directly above the Vista Lounge. VERY noisy with horrible bass vibration. This is only a problem if you like to spend a lot of time in your room.  Read entire member review.
Nice quiet location with a private balcony - only a few mini-suites can boast that on this ship. Loved having a bathtub  Read entire member review.
Mini Suite has lots of room and a great bathroom with a tub...the balcony on Dolphin deck is open not covered...  Read entire member review.
Grim Princess by tonyc
D726 Mini Suite. Good sized clean cabin. Balcony open but therefore overlooked. Not too fussed about being overlooked - it's no different to being in a public area. I preferred the fact it was open and therefore not in constant shade as the higher deck balconies were.  Read entire member review.
