We stayed in the Oronsay Suite, fabulous room with double bed, sofa, desk, dressing table, walk in wardrobe, fridge, sink, bath, seperate shower, toilet and sink, two televisions, huge balcony with two loungers, table and four chairs. Plenty of room, comfortable bed. Bubbly, fruit, chocolates and sweets to greet you, along with a butler and a steward who will do all they can to make sure you have a lovely time. Absolutely wonderful. The rooms are being renovated next year and real wood being used, this will make it ebpven more wonderful.
Good, but also bad - Upgraded to a Suite (at a cost) - Cabin spacious and I would not criticise cabin service. However all potential passengers who may choose a suite or be upgraded should be aware that there are noisy extractor fans adjacent to the centre suites at the rear of the ship. There is continual noise from these fans (and often undesirable kitchen smells) on the balcony and there is never quietness even when in port and the engines not running - to some extent it spoiled the holiday. One good thing from the Suite experience was the exclusive use for breakfast of the speciality restaurant '17' on the 17th deck - their service was excellent.
