P217 was on P deck (deck 5), one up from the embarkation deck(4).It is the last but one cabin on the starboard side. Did not hear any noise either from the ship or from other cabins. Being low down, if there is any rough weather, will tend to move less.
The corridor leads to the main forward lifts and stairs. If you stay on P deck. you will walk through the Art Gallery, and arrive at the Atrium, which extends from deck 5 to deck 7. Decks 5,6 and 7 have all the main entertainment and select dining venues, so this cabin is very handy to reach everything without getting lost! Read entire member review.
Had an outside cabin on Panama Deck which is deck 5. The cabin was a twin with large window and great layout. It was a quiet area very handy for Atrium, Playhouse and forward lifts. Also great for disembarking at ports as deck 4 brow was below.
TV was boring but it was useful seeing moving map and SkyNews. P&O used to sell duty free alcohol for consumption in cabins but they have hiked prices significantly so it is no longer worth doing. Read entire member review.
P301 - Outside - Lots of space -bathroom usual standard size - shower no problem ( I am 6' tall and well built (16.5 stone). Wardrobe space excellent - walk in. Main area fine more than adequate space. Overall very pleased.
