We had a D-3 balcony cabin on deck 8 (8212). Storage under the bed and in the cabinets and closets were more than adequate for the 3 of us. It was a bit tight by the balcony when the couch was made up for sleeping, but the bathroom was nice and with the couch closed there was plenty of room to move around. After having several bad experiences with our cabin location on other cruises, I am very careful to check deck plans to see what is above and below me. If possible, try to avoid pool decks above. But definitely avoid nightclubs & theaters above OR below. On this cruise, we were in cabin 14304 (port side balcony, deck 14, below the putting green). If you like to get a little sun on your balcony, avoid deck 14. There is an overhang of about 10-12 feet that extends out and blocks the sun most of the day. Drop down to deck 12 or lower for a sunny balcony. We typically book Jr Suites, so this seemed small. However, the bathroom was somewhat larger than most other ships.
