Overall great room. It was just big enough for us. The balcony was good. I would like to see a reclining type lawn chair here on the balcony though. Bathroom was good. Shower was not large but was just right for us.  Read entire member review.

We had 3 people in our cabin and had enough room to store our luggage and our clothing, I wouldn't want to spend all day in that room as it was tight when they opened up the couch for the 3rd person but all in all with a balcony it was well worth it. No noise but I would make sure I picked a room on dock side, this room wasn't and its my only complaint. The views were terrible during docking so please pick dock side when you purchase a room.  Read entire member review.

The smallest room on a cruise ship that we have been on. We had an infant and we spent 40 minutes trying to figure out where to place the pack n play. There just wasn't any room. Loved that we could fit suitcases under the bed.  Read entire member review.

We had a Balcony stateroom on Deck 7, only 10 rooms from the elevator/stairways. This was in our opinion the perfect location. We were only 1 deck up or down to the high traffic Boardwalk and Central Park areas. Only 2 decks down to the Royal Promenade and only 3 decks down to our dining room, and entertainment level. All easily walkable for our Mid-30's bodies. Only Deck 15 with the Pool deck was needed with any regular elevator use. The room itself was also great. We usually don't do Balcony rooms, but the price was too good to pass on. It was situated well, with the Bathroom on the left as you walk in, followed by the closet and love seat, and the bed near the balcony door. we would leave the curtains open and let the sunrise wake us up in the mornings. The balcony had the standard 2 chairs and table, which we used for Room Service Breakfast and one meal.

Of course, the cabin was small – as most are – but the arrangement worked for my husband & me. If we were sharing the cabin with children, it would be tight, but doable.

We took a cruise on NCL’s Epic last October, so I often found myself comparing the two experiences since that was our most recent cruise and it was on a mega-ship. On the Allure, there was nowhere near the storage space that we had on the Epic. The TV was nice – flat screen & adequate size. But as on most cruises, the channel line-up was sparse & mostly not entertaining. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a couch. I preferred this couch to the one we had on the Epic. The one on the Epic was curved & not very practical for sitting or reclining.

The bathroom was tiny. I didn’t like the stand-up shower. I am tiny and I could barely turn around in the shower. Our cruise experiences with Princess & NCL in this respect have been much better. Our similar-sized cabins on those cruises had tub/shower combos. In this tiny bathroom, there was not much space to store toiletries, and the sink was small, but we were able to use the space efficiently. The wire rack in the shower was mildly frustrating – it didn’t hold items very well, and they would often fall on the shower floor. The toilet had a mild latrine smell, but that has generally been our experience on other cruises. I am not making these comments to complain. Rather, I am trying to help other future cruisers shape their expectations to see if this ship would meet their needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to cruise on the Allure of the Seas again, and I would gladly have Cabin 12138 again.

We stayed in a deluxe oceanview stateroom with balcony on Deck 12. The stateroom was well laid-out with a bed, sofa, desk, TV and mini-bar. The closet included plenty of hangers, plus shelves for your clothing. The bathroom is very small, but tidy. Several shelves are provided for your toiletries, which is nice. Shampoo is provided in the shower and a hair dryer is provided in the desk drawer. The mirror over the desk is lighted as well, so the desk acts as a vanity table. The balcony included a small table and two chairs. You are allowed to bring two bottles of wine on board, so I enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony each evening before dinner. Our stateroom attendant was wonderful. He cleaned our stateroom twice a day, always remembered to keep ice in our ice bucket, left fun towel animals in the stateroom each evening, and had a riddle for us each time we saw him in the hallway.

Layout of bed in front of closet was annoying. Very difficult to get in and out. It was okay overall but it started to feel very small after 7 days. Shower was a tube and I couldn't take a shower without banging my elbows against the side and I am 5 10 and 175 pounds. Sink was tiny, tiny, tiny. Nice balcony but not a lot of privacy.  Read entire member review.

Great room location. Just under the Putt-Putt Golf and close to the secret deck on deck 14.  Read entire member review.

No complaints about the cabin, but we preferred our location on deck 8 on our last Allure cruise. There is a small amount of noise in the early morning from chairs being straightened up in the Solarium above on Deck 15. While I never heard voices or music, I could hear the quiet but unmistakable sound of bass on the two nights when the Deck 17 Solarium nightclub party was held. On a positive note, we enjoyed easy access to the large public deck that runs across the front of the ship and is fortunately accessed from the opposite deck 14 hallway, meaning our side had much less traffic. I liked being able to run up the stairs one floor to reach the Solarium pools and restaurant, as well as the entire pool deck. We also had the best cabin attendant I have ever experienced.

Our cabin was pretty much as expected. When compared to other ships, particularly Princess, the closet access and layout was better on the Princess Ships. The two sliding doors closet drawers on the Allure were a little annoying because I was always sliding them back and forth to get to something. Also there were limited drawers to stash other thing away.

Cabin well organized. You can smoke on balconies, which we did not like. Bathroom nice size. I'm a big guy and I had room to shower with ease.

Our room was between the elevators. We had a walk no mater which way we went. It was well kept and our attendant was very friendly and helpful. The shower was rather small and the shelf above the bathroom sink hung out over the sink. It was hard to brush your teeth with it protruding so much. Especially on the rough sea nights!  Read entire member review.
