I found this cabin to be very noisy in a number of ways... it was the 2nd noisiest room I have had. The curtain holders rattled, the hangers rattled and other parts of the rooms made noise. Plus people were continuously slamming the balcony doors, which are very heavy. The worse was the people next door and their TV. I could hear every word as though it was the TV in my room on loud, and that was with the ear plugs in! I actually had to call them after a few days and ask if there was any way they could lower the volume. It was better after that, but those walls are so thin. It was pretty bad. Two small separate closets with an additional closet that only has shelves. There were 4 drawers on vanity table area. Nice balcony. I had read that the balconies on upper floors were visible to people on the 5th floor area. I did not notice any problems with that. When on the balcony, I could not see people on the deck. Overall great room, plenty of space, three closets, drawers for storage plus fridge, safe and nice themed room. Balcony is great. This room is forward and on the starboard side and views are excellent. Love Carnival's balcony rooms. Read entire member review. |

Plenty of closet space, hallway too noisy, across from crew space, can hear all balcony doors within a 3 cabin radius. Room attendant did not clean balcony glass. Read entire member review. |

Great location - mid ship - easy access to Lido deck. Good space for 2 parents and one child though no curtain to separate beds. Good sized balcony. Great shower head. Great lighting - seems like daylight. Read entire member review. |

Balcony Room 9224. Excellent size, great closets, Balcony views and location were great. Could come right out of our room and go up to Lido, work out, or serenity area.Down to 5 to other areas. Tough going to our dining room, but we had My Time Dining, so think it would have been better in one of the other dining rooms. We were never bothered by neighbors. Yes, we could hear them talking at times, but rare that we were all out there at the same time. Doors do have a tendency to slam, it is hard to avoid. Take a bungie cord to keep open if you are going in and out alot! Will definitely have a balcony again. Read entire member review. |

room 10229. Great room on lido deck with nothing loud above it. Close proximity to the pool and also the stairs (and elevators). The room is far enough down the hallway so that noise from the common areas can not be heard. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was fine, just as expected. The balcony was small but no smaller than other ships. Limited closet space, but again very typical. We were on Lido deck and had no noise problems of any kind. The view was great . Read entire member review. |

Unruly children running through the hall at all hours. Children playing on the elevators all day and all night. Read entire member review. |

Our personal experience was that the Category F Balcony located on the Lido Deck (Deck 10 - Forward) was not worth the upgrade in cruise fare. Because of the weather, the ship pitched more than I have previously experienced on prior cruises. More concern was that for the first two days it was so cold that spending time on the balcony was quite prohibitive. The framing around the patio door and window was at the time, quite cold to the touch. Even more serious was that either the ship had problems keeping the cabin reasonably warm, there was bad insulation from the balcony or perhaps a combination of both. It became necessary to request blankets. Otherwise, we found the bathroom to be quite adequate. I would say that honestly for someone over six foot and 200+, the twin beds were quite small and I believe they were actually the width of a youth bed. This was a challenge for both my wife and I. 10290 Probably one of the best balcony rooms on the ship. I thought noise would be an issue, but that was not the case. Best for access to all activities and far enough away from the elevators (but not too far). Read entire member review. |

The doors to the balconies are constantly slamming and it is what will wake you each morning. Not your door, but those of your neighbors. Our bed was already extremely scalloped with 2 prominent channels for us to lie in. Lots of closet space, bathroom was a little larger than normal, and the balcony was really nice to sit. We were in room 8371. Lots of storage. We did take an over the door shoe organizer and hung it on the bathroom room. Worked great. For a family of 4 we had stuffed in every place. But, it worked out well. We put luggage under the bed. Great location. Balcony view was great. Very quiet. Short walk to the stairs and elevator. But still, no noise. Read entire member review. |
