My room was awesome. I had a handicapped room on deck 11. This room was centrally located right in the middle of the ship. I had access to the elevator, the Lido deck, the lobby and the laundry. My wife and I's cabin was your "basic" Interior cabin with a king size bed, we liked it a lot and it was not too small. The shower was awesome and always had hot water when needed. Housekeeping service was excellent and fast! The Cabin's Digital TV was big and worked well. We were on deck 1 which is the bottom of the ship. As first time cruisers it was fine. Not sure if I would upgrade to a balcony but a window next time would be nice. The cabin was roomy for the two of us. There was plenty of closet and drawer space. Recommend putting the suitcases under the bed. Was always clean. A bit noisy as you are in the bottom of the boat and you hear the engine noises but not too bad. It was more of a low hum until you were in port. Our category 1 A room had a different physical shape than the other surrounding cabins. It was spacious and comfortable. We did not encounter any difficulties until the ship encountered high winds/surf.
