Cabin review is in the text above. Carnival allows smoking on verandahs and the people next door smoked heavily and the wind blew the smoke onto our verandah, so we had to curtail our use of the expensive verandah since we are both avid non-smokers. Read entire member review. |

Great location if you are okay with being Aft. Just steps from elevator that takes you up to the Gathering and Deck 10 Aft pool. Read entire member review. |

Balcony stateroom 9279. Huge. Great location by the elevator. had no problem with noise. Always woke up to the sun. The robes were greatly appreciated. Mini fridge would have been better if it was empty and we could put our stuff in there. Read entire member review. |

We had cabin #9281. It was a good sized cabin. Plenty of room for our needs. The balcony was nice and clean. I wish there was more than one electric plug in the cabin. The location was perfect. We didn't have any problems with noise. Bed was really comfy. No complaints. Read entire member review. |

The cabin was spacious, although the shower area was tiny. Lots of draws and closet space, decent size balcony. It's under the pool deck so you can hear chairs scraping in the morning or evening as they move things around for cleaning. Read entire member review. |

HORRIBLE ROOM!! Directly under the Lido Deck. Every night the deck is cleaned, the pool chairs are stcked, then unstacked. Then the disco closes and a herd of drunks gathers above your head to eat at the pizza place. Sleep like a log or sleep somewhere else. Same cabin category, one deck lower, would have been perfect! Cabins 9350 & 9346, typical cruise cabins, very comfortable bedding, good mid-ship location, VERY NOISY due to 24-hr Pizzeria directly overhead, chairs scraping constantly, avoid at all costs. Read entire member review. |

We were originally supposed to have cabin 6390. But, I was offered a $40 upgrade to Vista deck. So glad we did this!! We were in 9358, directly at mid-ship port side on deck 9. My friends were in 1297, starboard side almost at the same place we were. Up one flight from our cabin and we were at the grill/pizzeria. Wonderful location with kids!! We were also 2 flights up to Camp Carnival. Hardly ever had a problem getting an elevator to go down to dinner. We usually caught the elevator up from Deck 5 in between seating times so no wait. Our room steward, Rai, was phenomenal!! He was so efficient and learned our schedule very quickly. Thought it was cute that he knew my son's name by the second day. He'd say hello to him every day in the hallway. He had a list with all of our names when he introduced himself shortly before sailaway. The kids loved the towel animals! We got a swan Friday during the day. We had rough seas on Thursday and felt hardly any movement. My daughter has had motion sickness in the past and had no trouble at all. Slept through each night even though my DH and I woke up a few times. If you enjoy watching the ship dock or sunrises, pick the port side. We saw two sunsets as well from our balcony. Including one over Miami. Read entire member review. |

At 1:00 we were able to go to our rooms. We had a balcony room We were on the starboard side on Vista deck 9, beautiful rooms. My only complaint about the room was on the balcony you could smell of cigarette and cigar smoke (the starboard side is the smoking side on the open decks) and it was noisy from the Lanai hot tub on promenade deck. When you are in the hot tub you can see into the balconies of deck 6, 7 & 8 so much for privacy. Read entire member review. |

This was a roomy, clean, comfortable cabin. However, if you are looking for quiet or you like to sleep in this is not the area of the ship to be in for you. There is a lot of morning noise due to proximity to the crew set-up area/closets just across from the room and the kitchen above. I was aware of the kitchen area above and expected more noise from it than there was (it wasn't bad at all). However, there was a lot of morning noise from the crew area across from us in the mornings -- mostly glasses clinking together. Nothing unbearable for me, but I can see how this would really bother some folks who can't sleep without more quiet. Virtually no engine "hum"/noise in this area of the ship. Nice view from balcony but not especially private as it is located right above an open deck and hottub. There was no noise issue from the deck area, though.

Balcony room had plenty of space. Be careful not to get a room right below the Lido deck. The scraping chairs will drive you crazy. Other than that the cabins are excellent. Plenty of room on the balcony.. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was very spacious and plenty of closet space. Bathroom was very adequate and shower was nice. Bed was very comfortable. A/C could be a little colder. The aft balcony was a very good size.
Only complaint really was the only stations you could get were Denver news and traffic. There time zone is different so you couldn't see any prime time shows. No local stations at all and no local weather reports which would really help while you are in port. Read entire member review. |

Stateroom 10207 Balcony
Forward Starboard
Private balcony next to the door for the forward public balcony on deck 10. Many people did not know it was there so it was quite.
Convenient access to Serenity and the Spa / Gym.
The room was quite compared to other reviews that report noise from the casino, club or doors. There was some noise from the balcony door especially on windy nights as the door opening faces forward and catches the wind.
Room size is adequate with ample storage and dresser space.

Balcony Cabin 10216 Port-side - it was perfect. Quiet, beautiful view, centrally located. It was easy to take the stairs to most places and avoid the wait for the elevators. Lots of storage and space enough under the bed to store your empty suitcases. Hair dryer, lots of drawer space and closet space-3 closets. Lots of space on top of the area where the drawers are - like a dresser with a large mirror. There is a full length mirror on back on one of the closet doors. Plenty of room for hanging clothes. Bathroom small but functional. Lots of shelf space on the mirror side (no hanging bags needed here!!) Shampoo and body wash on the shower wall in dispensers. Electric outlet on the mirror side at the very top - it looks like a plastic box - just lift up the lid and you will have one outlet. Plenty of vanity space for your personal items and one area on the vanity has a little railing around it so nothing can roll or slide off the vanity.
The balcony rooms have a sofa and table, night stands with lamps. You can even turn on the room lights from the head of your bed...very convenient at night!! Read entire member review. |

We had a quiet location near the front of the ship. The room could sleep 3 easily. Our balcony was nice and there was quite a bit of closet space. The water in the shower was always hot. Carnival provides shampoo, body wash, razor, toothpaste and soap. We had no problems with our room at all. A/C blew cold, bed was very comfortable, flat screen TV had ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, TLC and a local Miami Fox station. Pay per view movies were available for $8.99. There is a mini frig with sodas. The room service menu is very limited, especially for breakfast. But since there is always something open 24 hours, like the Pizza Place, you can always get a bite to eat. My husband got the lasagna from the Pasta Bar and loved it. Very generous portion. We never waited in line for more than 10 minutes for anything. Getting on and off the boat was effortless. I don't know if the ship was full. Some may have cancelled due to the hurricane. But don't be afraid of a big boat :-) Read entire member review. |

Stateroom 10244 on the Lido Deck - nicely appointed, reasonable storage room. great location, comfortable bed, separate seating area with couch (which could be converted to a single bed) and coffee table - close to everything, but far enough to not get the noises. Great fixtures in the bathroom/shower. Nice balcony. Read entire member review. |

Our room was on the Lido deck. Perfect location. I was worried about noise at night and during the peak of the day. Not a problem. The Dream is well sound insulated on that floor and the even the midnight deck parties (one or two of them, only ½ hour each) could not be heard from our rooms. Definitely book floor 10 if you can. Balcony stateroom on Deck 10 was wonderful. It provided ample space, comfortable bedding, plenty of storage and a wonderful balcony with two chairs and a table. My only complaint is Carnival's policy on cigar smoking on the balconies. It's truly disgusting when you're trying to enjoy the balcony you paid for and you have to retreat to your cabin because your neighbor is puffing on a stinking cigar. Second-hand smoke not only smells horrible, but it is also a health-hazard -- Carnival really needs to change this policy. Read entire member review. |

We have only been on Carnival and one Holland America ship, so not much to compare, but we LOVED our Lido deck balcony. Our friends on this cruise were in the 2 bath outside, as well as cove balconies. There are advantages to all - do your research and decide which room fits your needs best. Our cabin was 8E category - balcony stateroom. Mid ship starboard. Nice balcony views, worth the extra cost. On the whole, an excellent cabin with comfortable beds, but definitely marred by noises at night from the lido deck dining area, which interferes with sleep. These cabins should be sold at a discounted price to compensate the residents!

These were the tightest quarters we had. The sofa was not a pullout but just a made up bed the entire time so we could not sit on it. Not that we spent much time in the cabin. Wish we had sliding glass door to balcony versus that heavy door which slammed shut. Read entire member review. |
