Closed in balcony (not glass walls), small cabin but big enough for 3, towards end of hallway so very quiet.  Read entire member review.

Norwegian Epic by laestrada
Small, narrow, cramped, the bathroom was basically in the room, it was constructed poorly and things were falling appart. A lot of little glitches like the TV and phone not working. it rattled when the engines thrusted, it was noisy and the beds were smaller than any standard bed I have ever been in.  Read entire member review.

What a Ship by Going4now
The balcony room 9024 has a large balcony. Not all balconies are equal.  Read entire member review.

My spacious (for one) balcony was so pleasant that I thoroughly enjoyed spending all of Days 9 and 10 in it due to a cold. I chose a stateroom with the bed closer to the balcony door. The ship has incorporated a pioneering method to maximize the overall use of space: mirrored room designs with curved walls, so that half of all balcony cabins have the bed close to the balcony door. The bed is closer to the sink, bathroom, and shower in the other half. Even if I had a room with the bed closer to the sink, I don't think it would have made much difference, as I had no issue with water splashing or spilling. Nonetheless, it was nice to sleep right next to the balcony doors, which happens to be quite similar to my home situation. There was plenty of storage, again for one, even on an 11-night cruise, and lighting and other furnishings were well laid-out. Hint: You can turn off the display on the phone, which otherwise serves as a sort of night light. The shower was more than roomy enough for one. The bathroom was fine for me (5' 8", 200 lbs), but larger persons could find it tight. All of the materials in the room appeared to be of high quality and durable.  Read entire member review.

Balcony Cabin - curve design. Narrow cabin, very comfortable bed and great lighting. Account info on tv, tv channels good. Nice Balcony Sofa - waste of space Separate loo and shower/sink - found absolutely fine.  Read entire member review.

Good bathroom. Good Shower. Cabin has "wavy wall" architecture where there are no straight walls but rather a serpentine structure. Detracts from the overall mobility in the cabin. Good closet and storage space. Good balcony. Doors very hard to open due to the closing spring.  Read entire member review.

great location. right around from the elevators. i asked my gf during the trip, do we have any neighbors? because I didn't hear one door slam shut or people in the halls. Wide balcony with reclining chairs. not every balcony had that. never felt her rock side to side.  Read entire member review.

Cabin is small (151 square feet) with a larger, uncovered balcony (65 square feet). Very quiet area of ship and close to aft elevators.  Read entire member review.

Actual cabin was okay, my only gripe is that the balcony was uncovered and I feel that it would of been nice if someone could of told us that when we booked. Even when I got in contact with NCL and they eventually got back to me, they weren't really concerned. Lets face it they had our money by this stage.  Read entire member review.

EPIC Adventure by hjmckellar
Great room in quite location had all items that you would require decent size balcony - cupboard above sink for toiletries this was a nice touch which I have not seen before. The only thing if anything it was lacking was electrical sockets - we had two but in this day and age of cameras, e books , phones etc and a kettle all wanting charging another few in more accessible places would have been appreciated  Read entire member review.

Our First Epic Cruise by Isabella Benjamin
Cabins 10031 and 10035 - Tons of storage space, fits 3 adults, unobstructed balcony view, balconies can be open between them. The balconies are covered. Tiny shower, the sofa bed fits just one and is a bit on the hard side. Has cabins both above and below it and is very quiet. Not too much ship movement.  Read entire member review.

Balcony excellent size, cabin storage good, bed too small and rounded at sides, 6'1 husband's feet stuck out from bed a foot! Sink too small next to bed could brush teeth and sit on bed. Hard to squeeze by foot of bed to get to balcony and sofa, because we had to pull bed from wall so husband could fit on bed. This cabin would have a 3 star rating if it weren't for the excellent size of the balcony.  Read entire member review.

A Good Ship With a Few Problems by CaribbeanTraveler0
A lot of storage space. Too narrow.  Read entire member review.

Great location (midships, least obstructed by the lifeboats). The only downside was that the elevators are forward and aft, so it was a bit of a walk to the elevators from the cabin in either direction. Nice size balcony, lots of storage space. Lighting could be better.  Read entire member review.

Loved the Epic by K&M2009
Halfway between forward and aft stairwells which was nice - depending on where you were going you could choose which stairwell you wanted to go to. Also, this cabin is on a portion of the side the juts out, which doesn't really matter but I liked that.  Read entire member review.

THE ROOMS. Well, they're nice... but the layout is weird. Toilet separated from sink and shower. Shower opens up into room, so expect a flood if you forget a towel for the floor. And the sink is weird - we couldn't figure out how to get it to drain. PLUS, no one tells you that you need to put your keycard in the slot for the electricity to work (cool feature to save energy, but for god sakes, tell someone!) plus no one tells you to dial TWO ZERO's on the phone to get the front desk. Ugh!  Read entire member review.

Great Balcony, quite location, great view!  Read entire member review.

The "waves" style of the room makes things "odd" to move around in. The looks on the other hand are very appealing. The rooms (balcony) are very, very nice & clean!  Read entire member review.

Epic Disappointment by SoFloCruzer
We stayed in cabin 10284 which is a balcony cabin. The room was very small with little to no room for 2 average size people to move around. The bed was round and my feet hung off the end every night which made sleeping difficult (i am 6'1"). Storage was good...that's all I can say that was good about the cabin.  Read entire member review.

An EPIC vacation!!! by BWLCRUISE
Cabin 11043 was a great cabin. The bed was right by the balcony. So this room design was ideal based on the wavy design of the balcony rooms on the Epic.  Read entire member review.

We were in cabin 11064. The cabin is VERY narrow, particularly in front of the bed. This is a cabin that can hold 3, but honestly, I would not have wanted to have three people in this room. The toilet with opaque door was on the left, shower with opaque door on the right and behind the shower a small vanity with the sink. The vanity had a nice feature with a sliding drawer hamper for used towels. There was plenty of storage in the medicine cabinet above the vanity as well as storage for small towels and for the bath towels in the vanity cubbies. The bed in our cabin was located next to the balcony. In some of these cabins, the bed is located next to the sink and bathroom set up. This is because of the wave design. The bed is placed in the concave of the wave; the couch in the convex of the wave. Depending on where the concave/convex is in the particular cabin will determine if your bed is by the balcony or closer to the entry door and the sink and vanity. My friends were in a balcony room the opposite set-up from ours and I think the bed near the balcony is a better set-up. It feels a little larger and it is nice to have the bed away from the sink/bathroom area. Other than that, the bathroom set-up was not an issue for us. The room was adequately cleaned each day and turn-down was always nice with a new towel animal each night. The bed was very comfortable with really nice soft bedding. I would book this room again. Storage in the cabin: Good storage for the most part, with a nice large closet for most of the clothes (lit up inside when doors opened) and good storage behind the couch. The suitcases fit nicely under the bed as well. However, there is another smaller wardrobe-type closet in the room that has three drawers for storage underneath. This closet was very narrow and was useless for handing clothes (no hangars either) and the drawers were very narrow (about 7-8" wide) it was difficult to get clothes into them. Again, this is all due to the "wave" design of the room. Balcony: The balcony was a nice size with two chairs and a very small table. It was definitely adequate. The glass was not clean when we got on and it only got worse with salt spray during the cruise.  Read entire member review.

Bomb the cabins and build new ones with more privacy and regular bathrooms  Read entire member review.

The cabin looks excellent but the shape makes it hard to move about. It is a tight squeeze and I am a size 12. The separate toilet and shower was great but the wash basin is too small. The bed, bedding and towels were very good. The balcony is large and pleasant but needs a bigger table. The TV is a good size but the choice of channels is poor. Only one free film channel.  Read entire member review.

Pretty curvy room, crowded layout with three choke points, lots of clever and useful storage, weird bathroom set-up that lacked privacy, average balcony that overlooked three other people's balconies.  Read entire member review.

All rooms have balconies. Supposedly we had a free upgrade, but our room was just above the life boats, therefore, you couldn't get a close view of the water when you looked over the balcony railing. The vanity sink was way too small. Just washing your hands sprayed water everywhere because it was too small. We liked the separate toilet and shower areas. Plenty of room in the shower. Plenty of storage and closet space.  Read entire member review.

Epic 3/19/2011 by Hate the snow
It was weird having the shower and toilet as soon as you walk in the room and being separate. Lots of space for storage. Unfortunately found a condom when we first were in the room- the room stewardess was mortified and made up for it the rest of the trip.We used our balcony alot, most people didn't.It was more spacious than other balconies we've had.  Read entire member review.
