Spa Suites are worth every penny. You get all the courtyard amenities AND spa access whenever you want it. The room is large, you have a great shower and hot tub, big balcony with a lounger and your own butler. I would go back to this room again! Read entire member review.
Spa Suite 14149 was great for us two adults. There was plenty of storage space; the bedding was very nice; the balcony accommodated a lounger, two chairs and a table,;the shower was large and had a glass door; we could hear running, etc. coming from above, on the pool deck; the toilet flushed loudly as do all cabin toilets, except this one is near the bed so it might wake a sleeping person if flushed during the night. Spa Suite very nice. Large round bed, comfy and plenty of room for DH and myself, (he is 6'4"). Awesome balcony. Largest of spa suites. Nice vanity area for putting makeup on. Good lighting with blow dryer and lite make up magnifying mirror. Suite features a cordless walk around phone in which you can take anywhere on ship and call anywhere on the ship anytime. Nice touch to contacting Butler and others you are traveling with. Coffee maker in room, didn't use, ordered room service for fresh pot of coffee. Lots of storage in this cabin. 3 closets. 2 for hanging clothes and other has shelves with safe. Cabin floors are wood, not carpet. A little different, had I of known I would have brought slippers, but my cozy fuzzy socks worked okay. Nice feature on room door number out in hall. You can dial it to say, Make up room, do not disturb, or make up room. Better than the signs that usually fall to the floor from the door knob. Door bell also. Lots of room in shower. Frosted door for privacy with rain shower head above and hand held shower head also. Area of toilet is roomy also. Private sliding door, as shower, rounded for maximum space in both. Nice dimmer lights in cabin. Has sheer curtains you can pull to make the area at sink/shower more private. Only used Jacuzzi once in suite. Seas were rough sailing from Barcelona to Miami, and the water would have splashed all over the cabin. Which the Jacuzzi was outside on the balcony in corner, could have used daily! Who cares if the balcony gets wet. Shower has issues with leaking water from bottom of sliding door. Lip on shower not high enough, and drain is at the back of shower not front, weird design. Need extra towels in cabin for floor outside of shower. Read entire member review.
Cabin 14151 on NCL Epic: Cabin itself was good, but not the location! The balcony was great - fairly large. Had plenty of closet space. We were fine with the round bed (I am 5' 10" and my husband is 6' 2"). Didn't have any problem with the shower/toilet/sink set-up although I could see it being an issue for some people. One day, we did have an issue with the water running out of the shower onto the cabin floor. We didn't use the whirlpool tub much, but it was nice to have. Enjoyed the access to the spa and the Haven that having a spa suite entailed. The one thing we didn't like was being on the deck right below the main pool area. I read reviews ahead of time where people said the noise wasn't an issue, but we found that not to be true. We could hear people running above us and we could always hear when they were putting away and putting out the beach chairs. It was generally quiet from around midnight - 5 a.m., but that was about it - so forget sleeping in or spending quiet time in the cabin during the day! The only other thing we had an issue with was for a couple nights there were some kids running up and down the hallways hitting all the doorbells in the middle of the night, but that wasn't the fault of the cruiseline.
Too much noise above head late at night Spacious balcony but only one lounge chair and two upright chairs. Bamboo tables too unstable for a wine glass. Cabinets above head we felt wasted space. Closets broken up into three sections and not convenient. Very cramped for dining in room. Missed a couch and dining table. Fabulous coffee maker, Lavanzza, but poor choices of expresso, so a waste of space. Offered teas and expresso dolce (sweet expresso). Read entire member review.
Room- Bed uncomfortable, loud banging noise during the day, no storage, not control with the room lights, no space to walk, flooded everyday, bathroom spotlight with not OFF button, door opened 1/2 way because of design flaw, sink flooding, loud bathroom flushing, no space to sit, too hot to blow dry hair or use tub, too small.
