mini suite is too small, poorly designed. Not enough drawer space. Bathroom design missed the mark. A separation of commode and shower was ok but lavatory should have been placed in commode area, not in middle of the cabin.  Read entire member review.

A Great Epic Cruise by Wallis7219
Avoid 8172 if you need to sleep between 9pm and 1am. The sound from Fat Cats/Slam allen band just thuds into this room  Read entire member review.

Epic Jan 28-Feb 4 by mmensch17
Cabin 8176 We had originally booked a regular balcony room; however, we noticed the price dropped a bit before we left so we called to try and get an on board credit for the difference. They wouldn't do that, but they did upgrade our room to a mini-suite balcony. Calling it a suite is a stretch but it did add about 40 square feet to the size of the room. The room was ready about 1:30. For all the complaining you hear about the new style rooms on Epic, we were pleasantly surprised. The room had a lot of storage space compared to other ships we have been on. We thought the bathroom set up was great. Having the separate area for the shower, toilet and sink was great. There was enough room in the shower to actually take a shower and overall there was much more space in the bathroom area. Bed was very comfortable. I actually preferred the cabin on Epic just a little over RC. The bathroom space made all the difference in the world.  Read entire member review.

EPIC, YEP....HUGE! by kimbavan
Water closet tiny!! Shower huge. Storage abounding. Balcony needs better seating but sufficient size. Looking beyond the life boats takes getting used to, didn't expect this obstacle for vision. Bed beyond comfortable. Service in room, above excellent.  Read entire member review.

The electrical outlet is under the TV, finding it can be tricky. You have to have your key card in the slot to the right as soon as you enter your cabin for the electricity to work in the cabin. The sinks are pretty shallow too so watch the water presure.  Read entire member review.

The Epic was Epic by ScubaDen
9084 was a great cabin. It had a little extra room because it was listed as a Deluxe Balcony. It was close to the elevators and since it was forward on the ship, the Garden Cafe and main pool deck were in close proximity. As I said in my review, there's plenty of storage ares bu the shelving is very narrow. I would pick this cabin again.  Read entire member review.

We found the mini suite cabin good lots of Storage nice comfy bed good balcony.did not like the toilet arrangements.  Read entire member review.

The rooms are "weird" with the curve and the bathroom design will cause distractions to your roomie if you need to use it at night as the door is frosted and the sink in the room itself. The beds are also curved, I guess to fit with the room curve, so they seem small and you feet fall off the corners.  Read entire member review.

9086 & 9088: Great balcony, very convenient location - near elevators and stairs. Surprisingly very quiet for the location.  Read entire member review.

We had a larger balcony room on the 9th floor near the elevators. Great location, easy to walk either upstairs or down without having to wait for elevators. The rooms were very tight with a poor layout. I had read about the toilets and sinks in advance but they are worse than we expected. Toilet is in glassed in enclosure by entry to cabin (not for the shy)and sinks really are teeny getting everything wet. There are no hand towel bars or place to hang wet face cloths. Nothing is convenient in the room. Beds are comfy though. Don't forget that the lights are controlled by your key card. We didn't know that and sat in the dark for way too long! There are separate closets but only one has hangers. I luckily packed on hangers. Bring your own shampoo and soap etc. They have a dispenser but the product isn't good. Rooms are quiet and only noise is flushing of toilets.  Read entire member review.

Epic Transatlantic by SamuraiCruiser
mini-suite 9243.. should just be re-named outside deluxe. dimensions if a true rectangle would be 8.25 feet by almost 25 feet plus balcony of 6 feet by8.25 feet. split bathroom design was a pain due to rough seas and sliding doors. medicine cabinet light not bright enough to shave by. built -in hairdryer by vanity desk was uncooperative and hard to use.  Read entire member review.

The wavy staterooms were interesting, comfortable, but very narrow.  Read entire member review.

Epic cabin 9248 had tons of storage space. We selected it because we wanted a shower only and wanted the couch by the balcony. The shower was really big. Being close to elevators was not a noise problem at all.

9249 - balcony cabin was great. Near the aft elevators but never heard any noise from either the elevators or the hallway. Balcony was completely covered and large - it easily fit the 6 adults in our party. Shower was huge. Bed was near the door and couch near the window. 9241 and 9245 - inside rooms were very comfortable. Lots of storage and quiet. Shower was a smaller than the balcony rooms.  Read entire member review.

If you have a chance; book a mini suite with a balcony! We were in room 10081. It is located not far from the elevators and very easy to get to. It was a nice quite room too. The storage is amazing. The bed is really comfortable. They have thought of every light you might wish for. The sofa is comfortable too. Now the shower! It is so large and the water pressure is amazing. I never ran out of hot water. The balcony for room 10081 is nice and large. Two people can sit outside and enjoy the sea air. This was the best stateroom we have ever had on any ship so far.  Read entire member review.

plenty of storage space (keep looking behind and under everything!) - conveniently located near elevator.  Read entire member review.

We were in 10274 and 9243. Both were designed the same, meaning sink by bed. We noticed that directly next to us (10272 and 9241) did not--had bed by balcony, which would be a better layout. Location of these cabins were good, near aft elevators. Balcony was covered in both rooms and you could not see down from above onto our balcony.  Read entire member review.

This is a good cabin location -- Standard layout and balcony. Generally it was convenient to be nearby to elevator banks and there was enough distance that there was never any noise from the elevator lobby. This category of room - Deluxe Balcony -- is rather tight on space, but storage space is very large. The shower is excellent - nice rain type shower head (detachable) with room for 2 people. Coffee maker and mini-bar is a nice convenience and there is good lighting throughout the cabin.  Read entire member review.
