The cabin only has two AC outlets that are hidden away under a "desk." After a week, we still couldn't find the location of all the cabin lights. There was some sort of tapping noise that recurred every time we were underway. That was especially annoying when trying to sleep at night.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was in a quiet and convenient location I would try to avoid Deck 14 between Recess and Fitness suite.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was on Deck 12 midships. Overall the cabin was nice. The balcony was great. The cabin could have used some additional hooks to hang clothes from. The 3 of us had ample space. The only real downside was that fact that the elevators and stairways were located at the ends of the ship. If you accidentally went the wrong direction, you had to walk the entire length of the ship. The signage on board was poor.  Read entire member review.

Cruising with Epic by brow4cruise
We were in a family balcony state room on the 12th deck. I was very nervous about having all four of us stuffed into a tiny room, but it turned out very well for us. The queen bed for my DH and I was more than ample...we are used to a king and we didn't feel squished at all. The couch pulled out into a commodious twin bed and another bed dropped down from the ceiling. Our steward performed all the transformations for us so it went really smoothly. There was plenty of storage for the four of us to put all of our clothes and then some. We were able to store all of our bags (4 carry on, 1 full size, various backpacks and 4 snorkel gear)under the queen bed. There was a blow dryer, coffee maker and fixings, and a tv(unfortunately we were not able to hook our computer up to the tv for video viewing). There were plenty of mirrors on the walls so we never felt like we were vying for face time. The room overall was unique and well done. The walls were curvy and pleasing, the lighting was ambient and green (the lights turn off automatically when the stateroom card is removed from the slot). There was a sliding glass door to the balcony which really kept out the noise. (in Roatan a very loud band was playing on the pier, when you opened the sliding glass door you could hear every word...when it was closed you could barely hear the bass...it was awesome). There were two chairs and two small tables on the balcony. The biggest downfall of the room was the bathroom situation. As you enter the room, on either side of you is a shower stall or a toilet area..both are enclosed in frosted glass. While the set up allows for maximum space both in the shower (which was huge) and the toilet it is a little disconcerting to be so open (going to the bathroom in a glass room is a nightmare to me)...There is however a curtain that pulls closed so you are able to change your clothes etc, use the facilities..without being seen...not being heard is another story. Teenagers are not very kind. If however you are open and free with such things, the bathroom set up will be no problem for you. I found it uncomfortable, but not un-doable.  Read entire member review.

A la carte! by goldie lox
Cabin was terrible. Location was excellent. Tiny closet, no shelves, two cubby shelves under the sofa bed, sink in the middle of the room...what were they thinking! Shower in front of door and bathroom as well. Horrible, horrible and this was the family cabin. No one could unpack, it was a disaster. This is not a cabin for more than two people. If traveling with kids choose two adjoining rooms and spend the extra money, you will not regret it. Believe me!  Read entire member review.

Midship balcony--OK for two, but would be a challenge to squeeze in more. With lack of midship elevators, some might find it a long walk to get places, but we didn't mind.  Read entire member review.

Plenty of storage, good lighting. Tricky to get used to as your key card goes into slot by the door. The curve design was a fresh change. balcony, good sized. Privacy curtain between shower and room. The sink is novel, but,got used to it. Climate control was great. Luggage fit under the bed without a problem. Frig in room, can ahve contents removedto avoid charges. liked the reading lights on each side of the bed. The bed was comfortable, did not seem too short.  Read entire member review.

Not comfortable. Frosted plastic doors for toilet and shower, you can be seen. Washing basin in the bedroom so if you wash your hands late at night, you wake the others up.  Read entire member review.

Great stateroom - storage hard to find (behind sofa back, and under sofa) but once found it was great! Balcony very nice and we had adjoining cabins with friends so we had the steward open the divider so we could share the balconies. Best shower I've had in a ship cabin.  Read entire member review.

Epic Disappointment by Michaelb821
Nice cabin design, but a bit small. Would have rather had some of the extra room from the large covered balcony. Tall patio doors nice touch. Was able to store luggage outside on balcony as it was completely secured and covered and kept the room uncluttered.  Read entire member review.

When booking, pay close attention to where you will be staying and inquire about this in advance. For example, we would advise you do not stay in a stateroom that is under a restaurant, over a nightclub, near the childrens club (Kids Crew) or under the pool deck unless you like A LOT OF NOISE. We were on the 8th deck, opted for a Family Balcony room and for the 3 of us, it worked out very well. It was quiet and comfy. Decoration is modern, with curvy lines to help you pass one another on the way to the balcony or the shower (opposite ends of the room). The bed is somewhat of a short bed. If you are 6' tall or more, you will notice this. The toilet (loudest flusher I have ever heard in my life) is separated from the shower which is helpful. The sink is across from the toilet which is somewhat strange and is also at the end of the bed. Surprisingly, a lot of storage in the room (under the bed, behind the pull out couch, over head, etc). There is a mini bar in the room with mini bar prices and for some reason, the mini bar was not replenished during the week. The room was kept very clean each and every day. Balcony was lovely. Seats were adequate, not great.  Read entire member review.

Tiny family balcony cabin, with half of the space taken up by a settee and an Open-plan loo: shower, toilet and wash basin positioned so that one walks into the loo first on entering the cabin. The announcements over the ships Tannoy start off early in the morning and do disturb the peace of those wanting a lie in.  Read entire member review.

The balcony cabin is long and narrow. The curved walls were interesting. In spite of the bad reviews, we had no problems with the sink, toilet and shower locations. There is a lot of storage space. The TV and telephone were excellent. The bed is very short, but it wasn't a real issue. We always have slept well on cruises.  Read entire member review.
