Love the Love Boat by rivacationer
Great cabin. We loved the aft balcony and the view of the wake and the peripheral view was amazing and the best ever. For a ten day cruise, this view is a great thing! All in all, we will book another Princess cruise for 2011. I just hope they amend some of their menus for the "non-gourmet" food types. Happy cruising and don't forget to tune into Love Boat in your cabin.  Read entire member review.
Great storage, small bathroom, overall nice!  Read entire member review.
Better Than Expected by kingrodney
We loved our cabin. On first entering it felt a little small but the balcony made it feel larger than it was and in the end it wasn't too small at all. It was well appointed. TV could have been a bit larger but that's just being picky. We had a good location pretty much mid ship. It was quite and you could hardly feel any rocking. The balcony could have been more private. The screens separating the cabins should protrude further our so as to stop people from being able to look into the balcony next door. Once again no big deal but would be an improvement. The side of the ship is important for the view coming into and leaving ports. We had the port side which we found advantageous.  Read entire member review.
Big closet, great balcony, quiet, small bathroom  Read entire member review.
Great location, generally quiet if you keep the balcony door closed. The door between balconies can be opened when you have adjoining staterooms, as we did. Clever take on the Murphy bed, descending from ceiling rather than wall to accommodate a third person.  Read entire member review.
Baja 749 This is a coveted corner aft stateroom. It has a lovely huge balcony with two chairs, two lounger style chairs and a coffee table. The aft railing slightly wraps around the corner giving you further side views. Absolutely no one can see into your balcony except perhaps your neighbour to the right if they really, really tried. The privacy is wonderful. Otherwise the room is identical to all balcony staterooms. The down side is that you definately feel more motion from this location. We have also stayed in C753 (identical but on Caribe) and said we'd never take an aft stateroom again for this reason but memories of the privacy won out and we booked B749 this time. However, we had a very smooth sailing and have to admit that we were both queezy often in this stateroom. We have never experienced this in any other location.  Read entire member review.
B754 is a great aft-facing balcony cabin. We love the location; away from noisy areas and close to the buffet, just a few stairs away!  Read entire member review.
Cabin B756 on the Ruby was the best we've ever had. We were leery of trying a cabin on the aft, but our travel agent said these were much sought after so we took a chance. Lesson learned: trust the travel agent! Our stateroom was average size and the bathroom was adequate. The closet and storage spaces were very good with plenty of hangers and places to put all our clothes and "stuff". The amount of rocking and rolling was no worse than any other place on the ship. We loved the full-time shade and cool on our balcony and we were able to spend much more time there because we didn't have cigarette smoke drifting in from neighboring staterooms. The breeze doesn't allow it! The balcony was 1/3 larger than usual balconies which allowed for 4 chairs. The view was unobstructed and the best on the ship. We had no noise from above or below which was great. Hallway was very quiet because you wouldn't be there unless you were staying that far back. Fantastic stateroom!  Read entire member review.
Re: Cabin B756--Although next to the "dreaded vent" you couldn't hear a sound. There was a slight odor that we became accustomed to. And we used tome extra towels to block the smell with no problems. Balcony size and view (wake view) a huge plus!!  Read entire member review.
The aft stateroom remains our favorite! Covered balcony, smoke free because of the way the wind blows right past and room for 4 chairs on the balcony. Size of stateroom is standard. Bathroom is very adequate. The aft of the ship is also very quiet. The exercise you get from walking to the front of the ship allows for a few extra calories at mealtime! The view of the wake is unequaled.  Read entire member review.
Nice large balcony / someone below us but no balcony above us which was nice. Quiet, no hallway noise. Nice room / large closet. Bed horrible / hardest bed I've ever slept on. Small bathroom but adequate.  Read entire member review.
BIG lovely ship by YVR2dreams
This balcony cabin was near the front of the ship on deck 10 Caribe. It had an extra large balcony which was handy. The twin beds seemed very narrow and were not comfortable at all even with the addition of the egg crate mattress cover. Being at the front of this huge ship made for a lot of walking everyday.  Read entire member review.
We were on the Caribe deck, cabin C223. The balcony was HUGE! 4 chairs and a small table easily fit. Didn't see the need for the extra chair inside the cabin - we kept moving it around to get it out of our way. Pretty quiet location (we were towards the front of the ship). Great view (no obstructions). Would like to have had a drawer or two in the bathroom.  Read entire member review.
C254 - Nice location (near stairs and elevators, but not right by them). Caribe deck has larger balconies than other decks, so had four chairs and a table (two more chairs than other balconies). But could hear conversations from neighboring cabins.  Read entire member review.
Wish the shower stall could be a little larger. Would also like to be able to plug in a nightlite in the bathroom instead of having to leave the full lights on all night. Balcony was fantastic - had privacy too.  Read entire member review.

quiet location, close to elevators, large balcony  Read entire member review.
Great balcony and location, mattress too hard.  Read entire member review.

Typical cat BB cabin with a 9 by 9 balcony. Mattress was like sleeping on a rock. Princes has the worst bedding of any cruise line that we have been on. Our last cruise was on Celebrity and our next 2 are booked with Celebrity, also.

Cabin C742 is on the Caribe Deck and is the last cabin on the port side of the ship. It is very convenient to all dining rooms and buffet lines. This cabin is located on the other side of the ship from the Princess Theater. The huge balcony on this cabin is half sheltered and half in the sun. If you stand on the unsheltered part of the balcony, people from above can see you. The balcony has two chairs that will fold out to be loungers, two regular chairs, and a good size table. This particular cabin has a little bigger balcony that most because it is on the end. There is a little more wave action because it is on the front. It was more a shimmy. I had a Scopolamine patch so it didn't bother me at all, but it did bother my husband. At times, there was a little cabin noise, and really only on the way home. It was like a creaking sound. We found it easier to go from one end of the ship to the other by simply walking down the Caribe Deck hall. The room is a little bigger than most cabins, but the bathroom is typical cruise ship size. The closet is huge, and there were plenty of hangers. The hair dryer is not very good; I suggest that you bring your own. There is a refrigerator in the cabin. Robes, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are provided. Fruit and ice is provided everyday.  Read entire member review.
Another good cruise by Todd & Tami
Princess balcony cabins are not great in size. They are however; efficient with the space allotted, and attractive. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, pillows flat as pancakes. Our Caribe deck balcony was half open, half covered. Perfect! The really bad thing was C742 backs up to the steward's closet and every morning we were jolted awake by someone banging and clunking around in that closet! We love the aft section, it is usually quiet, with very little foot traffic.  Read entire member review.

We had one of the prime aft corner balcony cabins on Caribe deck (C753). Balcony has short square table, tall round table, 2 regular chairs, and 2 loungers. Furniture was a little worn in paint but otherwise quite adequate. Bed was comfortable - not the plush pillowtop we had on Royal but not the rock hard mattresses of past Princess cruises either.
Once you go aft, you can't go forward! We really enjoyed our aft cabin Caribe deck corner balcony. On the Canada/New England itinerary, we felt we made very good use of it for sailaways, scenic cruising along the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Ultimate Balcony Dinner, and arrival into NYC. The additional ship motion didn't bother us, but neither of us are prone to sea sickness. You definitely hear the thrusters loudly as the ship enters port for about 5-10 min, so don't expect to sleep in on port days (or at least prepare to be awakened). The cabin has it's own little hallway so you don't get any traffic past your cabin. It feels very private & secluded. I think this cabin is ideal for particular scenic itineraries - probably wouldn't pay the premium for it on a general Caribbean itinerary in contrast.

We had D734 which is an aft facing cabin with a huge balcony. Yes, it does have the dreaded beam at the left side but there is plenty of room for 8 chairs out there. Quiet location but a long walk which is fine to burn off calories!  Read entire member review.
Excuse Me! by Bayshoreman
Tiny shower, small balcony, kept bumping into spouse as we pass between room areas, adequate luggage storage.  Read entire member review.
Ruby Princess by margaritaville5
Baja cabin back of ship with balcony. Nice size balcony.... bigger then side balcony. Big enough for 4 chairs and a small table and still plenty of room. Would have liked to seen a bit bigger of cabin but was workable. Bathroom shower is small. Thank goodness it is a curtain and not a door as you would have been hitting door open bending over. No noise in hallway as it is back of ship  Read entire member review.
Our stateroom was on Caribe deck 10. The room had adequate space. The balcony was spacious with half being covered and half exposed to the balconies above. The bathroom was on the small side especially the shower. We did not notice any excessive noise.  Read entire member review.

R333, too much noise from pool deck above, hear scrapping from chairs and tables. Balcony only for two people.  Read entire member review.
Lots of storage capacity and good layout. Small bathroom and minuscule shower space. Persons with mobility issues would have difficulty showering. Riviera deck just below Lido with early morning noise as the staff move deck chairs around  Read entire member review.
We were in Riviera 334, our first balcony room. After booking, I read that rooms on this floor get a lot of noise from the Lido deck chairs scraping above. We did hear it some, but were not bothered by it and were usually awake in the morning around 7 am so it was not bad unless you like to sleep in late. The balcony is shaded at all times, which was fine with me. There is also no one looking down on you, since the floor of the Lido deck extends beyond your balcony edge, making it very private, as long as your neighbors are not home ? We will definitely get a balcony room again on future cruises, we felt it was worth the extra money. We slept with the door open every night and heard the waves as we drifted off to sleep. I also enjoyed taking a sunrise picture each morning from the room, and having breakfast and pre-dinner drinks on the balcony throughout the week. We also spotted a whale from the balcony one day and saw dolphins too, so it was cool for wildlife viewing and we loved watching the ship come into port from there too.  Read entire member review.
Nice room but cushions and foot cloths were filthy......but don't mention it the to steward!!!!  Read entire member review.
R617 - Very good cabin, clean and mid-ship, nice balcony, not noisy at all. Enjoyed the Riviera deck and access to small pool area.  Read entire member review.
Cabin category was a BB - Riviera Deck - R730, balcony was a little small, bathroom was good size, along with the closet space. Beds were higher so all luggage could be easily stored. Cabin location was excellent for accessing the aft pool, bar and Horizon Court!  Read entire member review.
Trip of our lifetime by Princessa22
Greatest location. Few steps from quiet pool in back, one floor from restaurants, very quiet. Room was quite comfortable and plenty of room for clothes. Balcony is a must here.  Read entire member review.
THe robes provided are always too small. Whoever ordered them should be told that cotton shrinks when washedd in very hot water.  Read entire member review.
My wife said our R749 aft balcony was the best cabin we ever had and it was our 3rd or 4th aft. It was just past the doorway that leads up to the Terrace pool. We found no noise from the exit door nor no traffic in our end of the hall as there was only one cabin on the outside beside us. The convenience to the CC and the HC made this a great location. There were no leaners on the aft terrace pool rail so we had a great deal of privacy. All you saw were the feet of the corner chaise lounge on the pool deck. There was little early traffic at the pool nor at night so we felt totally at ease on the balcony with near total quiet even during the day. I had read on this blog that there was a security camera a deck above looking down but it was directed behind the rail not appearing to invade our space.  Read entire member review.
Tiny bathroom, great closet & shelf space, nice balcony/furniture, bed was very good, would like pillows other than feather. Need something to sit on to watch TV other than bed. Desk chair & barrel chair very uncomfortable.  Read entire member review.
Cabin was very close to the midship elevators, but we didn't have any issues with noise during our cruise. We thought this was very convenient, easy to catch an elevator or the stairs quickly.  Read entire member review.
c701 - plenty of space and storage with above average size balcony compared with other cabins of same grade but on different decks. Quiet location close to lifts and stairs. Bathroom small but functioning.  Read entire member review.
Extremely private, quiet location with larger corner balcony.  Read entire member review.
