Balcony room was average size compared to other cruise lines. Similar layout. Very good sized closet. Like the light in the closet. Smaller than normal balcony, compared to other lines. Like the coffee maker. Heard the TV's were being changed out for flat screens but the 9th floor had not yet been done by March 6, 2013. Bathroom very good size. Like the pocket doors to the WC and shower. Good storage. Good location. Close to stairway and elevators, but not too close ... so no noise.  Read entire member review.

For a BC category Balcony cabin I felt it was too small. the new showers were great, now that they have doors and not curains so that he floor in the rst ofthe bathroom stay dry. Also I like that the toilet area has a door.  Read entire member review.

At 185 square feet, the stateroom is hardly humongous. But we didn't expect anything bigger, and the room was immaculate. When our luggage arrived mid-afternoon, we were able to easily find space for everything without ANY need for clutter. Our suitcases all slid under the bed. So the room looked great still. I suggest you look at photos/floorplan on the NCL site, because descriptions are not my strong suit. But there was a King bed (which turned out to be quite comfortable) and a small love seat. Two tiny desk areas. A little square table and one extra chair. A small bedside table on one side of the bed. The bathroom was tiny, of course, but we actually got quite used to it. The toilet is in its own little room (I do mean little.) The shower was small, but I think I've had smaller in hotel rooms in NYC. The sink area didn't have a lot of shelf space, but we had some handing cosmetic bags and just hung those on the door. Hot water came fast and plentiful. The room had one outlet in the bathroom (it says "razors only"...we never used it). There were two outlets in the main room, one at each little desk area. I had brought a power strip and a couple of extension cords. This was plenty for charging camera batteries, running my ipod player/charger, and other incidentals. Because of a tiny bit of advance planning, we had no issues. There is a hair dryer at the desk nearest the restroom. It was okay but my wife has long, thick hair, so she used her own hair dryer. There is a small fridge (not terribly cold, but okay) that has no freezer space. We had Madonna, our excellent steward, clear it out of all the mini-bar stuff. There was a small, old-school TV...but I understand they are replacing those during the dry dock happening right now. TV choices were minimal...mostly British news and sports, plus CNBC and E!, plus a German and Italian station. There were lots of ship specific channels, plugging the store, plugging excursions, but also showing maps and weather. We did not spend a lot of time watching TV, except when getting ready in the morning. The balcony is small. There were two chairs and a small table. But it was perfect for sitting out and reading or relaxing. I never had a complaint...standing at the railing as the coast of Sicily goes by or reading my Kindle in the sunset with the gentle swale of the Mediterranean outside is not something I'm going to complain about! We'll never cruise without a balcony. Having that full size sliding door to the balcony also makes the room seem much bigger. Again, this is a small room. But it was comfortable and relaxing. We never heard much from the rooms around us or out in the hall. I have no significant complaints. Set your expectations so that you understand this isn't the Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton, and you'll be good.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9012 was really good. It is near the "front" of the ship which worried me a bit.. would I hear the anchor drop, would it be more rocky? But it was a perfect location. About 30 feet from an elevator bank, you never heard the elevators and there was very little foot traffic outside this area as there were only a few cabins past it. There was no more rocking than any other area and it was on the good side of the ship when docked because there was always a great view and we got the land side. I loved our room!  Read entire member review.

Smaller cabins than RC Oasis of the Seas but still functional and clean. Balcony good size with two comfortable chairs on it.

Jade Greek Cruise by hjmckellar

Cabin 9136 was on the starboard side. Ample storage space equipped with Flat Screen TV (showing select films but also having a channel to tune in to hear announcements), coffee percolator, mini bar/fridge and safe. Cases could be easily stored under bed or in wardrobe so out of site during holiday. Bathroom had soap and shower gel dispensers.
Balcony great size and we did seem to get a lot of sun on this side.

I was happy with the cabin and would see no reason to upgrade

Cabin 9544 was extremely quiet with cabins above and below. Near the staircase and pretty centrally located although it is considered forward. Would definitely sail in this cabin again.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9642 This cabin is close to the aft stairs/elevators but not that close that you hear any noise from the stair well. It was quiet but well located. Not too long a walk to the stairs. The cabin itself was clean and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed the balcony which had two chairs and a small table where we had breakfast one morning. The beds are super comfortable and linen in good condition. We found the cupboard space good, the light in the cupboard is also a convenient addition. Besides the cupboard there is plenty of shelving and drawer space. The bathroom also has additional shelves next to the mirror and under the sink. The shower door is great instead of a curtain. The couch, curtain and carpeting were all clean and in good condition. The only negative is the old TV however this never bothered us as we only watched about 20 minutes of news a day.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was one of the accessible cabins. I was content with the cabin and the bathroom, having the extra space. There was enough closet space to store our clothes, as well as our luggage. However, the cabin can use some upgrade; for example, the TV, lighting and paint colour. Bathrobes were also not automatically provided, and we had to ask for them. Although there were shampoo and body gel in the bathroom, hair conditioner and body lotion are also necessary. Our cabin was located between mid- and the aft of the ship on the 9th deck. There were times that I could smell the aroma of the food coming from the Garden Cafe (Deck 12). As well, when walking closer to the middle of the ship, I could also smell the aroma of the food coming from the Blue Lagoon.  Read entire member review.

Never again. by Tangie47
Smallest cabin we have ever had. 12 inch table one side of bed, bed settee on other side (no room for bedside table). Balcony just enough room for two chairs and small table. Very small clothes storage area but then they encourage living in shorts/t-shirts all day. Bathroom unbelievably small as mentioned above. Couldn't adjust the aircon.  Read entire member review.

An Experience by patrick carr
The stern cabin provided a totally new experience which was very enjoyable and I would like that on my next cruise. The occasional cigar ash drifting in from the deck above is, I appreciate, difficult to avoid and not really a problem provided it is cleared up on a daily basis!  Read entire member review.

Plenty of room, recommend the port side, wonderful curtains that can darken the cabin for mid day naps  Read entire member review.
