Aft cabin caution by lovethatdirtywater
Tight quarters for two people to move about. Beware the droppage onto your balcony!  Read entire member review.

Our cabin would have been perfect for two. With three, it was tight - but we knew that going in. The balcony was wonderful - sheltered enough from the noises above, no soot issues. It was cozy and comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Great shower, small toilet (for a 6ft 7in. Baby giant!), immaculately clean, shame it's a CRT TV!  Read entire member review.

At 185 square feet, the stateroom is hardly humongous. But we didn't expect anything bigger, and the room was immaculate. When our luggage arrived mid-afternoon, we were able to easily find space for everything without ANY need for clutter. Our suitcases all slid under the bed. So the room looked great still. I suggest you look at photos/floorplan on the NCL site, because descriptions are not my strong suit. But there was a King bed (which turned out to be quite comfortable) and a small love seat. Two tiny desk areas. A little square table and one extra chair. A small bedside table on one side of the bed. The bathroom was tiny, of course, but we actually got quite used to it. The toilet is in its own little room (I do mean little.) The shower was small, but I think I've had smaller in hotel rooms in NYC. The sink area didn't have a lot of shelf space, but we had some handing cosmetic bags and just hung those on the door. Hot water came fast and plentiful. The room had one outlet in the bathroom (it says "razors only"...we never used it). There were two outlets in the main room, one at each little desk area. I had brought a power strip and a couple of extension cords. This was plenty for charging camera batteries, running my ipod player/charger, and other incidentals. Because of a tiny bit of advance planning, we had no issues. There is a hair dryer at the desk nearest the restroom. It was okay but my wife has long, thick hair, so she used her own hair dryer. There is a small fridge (not terribly cold, but okay) that has no freezer space. We had Madonna, our excellent steward, clear it out of all the mini-bar stuff. There was a small, old-school TV...but I understand they are replacing those during the dry dock happening right now. TV choices were minimal...mostly British news and sports, plus CNBC and E!, plus a German and Italian station. There were lots of ship specific channels, plugging the store, plugging excursions, but also showing maps and weather. We did not spend a lot of time watching TV, except when getting ready in the morning. The balcony is small. There were two chairs and a small table. But it was perfect for sitting out and reading or relaxing. I never had a complaint...standing at the railing as the coast of Sicily goes by or reading my Kindle in the sunset with the gentle swale of the Mediterranean outside is not something I'm going to complain about! We'll never cruise without a balcony. Having that full size sliding door to the balcony also makes the room seem much bigger. Again, this is a small room. But it was comfortable and relaxing. We never heard much from the rooms around us or out in the hall. I have no significant complaints. Set your expectations so that you understand this isn't the Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton, and you'll be good.  Read entire member review.

BA9068 - quiet location, toilet a little on the small size and could be a problem for a large person but the rest of bathroom ok. We had a wonderful cabin steward called Dinesh.  Read entire member review.

Good position with nice balcony. Cabin was adequate, kept clean with sufficient storage space. Would have liked better lighting especially over the dressing table area and also a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Very happy to have the coffee maker. Old style TV was fine for us as we don't watch it apart from ship information and occasionaly the news!! Bathroom was very small, especially the toilet cubicle. This could be improved without great cost by removing part of the wall between the toilet and washing area. That would make drying yourself after showering much easier. Always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Bathroom products, although in dispensers, were of a decent quality.  Read entire member review.

Getting on the ship, I was very surprised at how beautifully appointed it was. I don't really know what I was expecting, but my expectations were blown out of the water. Our room was either bigger or arranged in such a way that it seemed bigger than we have had on other ships. We were in a balcony stateroom. What surprised me (and elated my wife) the most was the size of the shower. Norwegian has figured out a way to fit an almost normal sized shower into a stateroom bathroom. I was impressed. The room was nice other than that. Storage was good, nice use of mirrors to help increase the illusion of more space. TV was a bit older, but that is generally to be expected. They had a pretty good movie selection, but only one channel in english for the movies. Not that big of a deal though, considering the limited amount of time that you watch movies in your room during a cruise.  Read entire member review.

Our first cruise by theinternationals
We were in cabin 9100 BA we had a balcony and the room is pretty much in the middle of the ship so we could get to everything pretty easy. Even though we had the elevator right in front it never got loud. Bring extra clothes hangers because there aren't enough and the ones they have are the big wooden ones that take up all the closet space. I took them out and just used ours. There was plenty of space under the bed to store all of our luggage. The steward came twice a day to lower a bed that was in the ceiling for one of our children the other slept on the pull out couch. The steward had it all done every night and morning despite our wacky schedule of coming and going.  Read entire member review.

Mid ship and perfectly located to elevator/stairs. Nicely sized room with a fabulously comfortable bed. Balcony was nicely sized and good chairs but suites have MUCH nicer furniture both inside and out! Need to update to flat screens and also provide a menu to access the movie schedules on your tv instead of coming into the middle/end of them.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was excellent, it was clean, the balcony was great the door closed correctly with very little wind noise. We choose this cabin because it was half way between the two aft elevator banks. It was quiet. Well they say we could have four people in it I think it would be very cramped if the bunks were down.  Read entire member review.

On a positive note, the double bed in our balcony stateroom was huge [bigger than our king size at home] and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out and reading on the balcony when the sun was out but, as we were able to make use of the balcony on only two days of our 9 days cruise because of the weather, we did wonder if we should have just booked an oceanview stateroom instead. On a negative note, the lavatory in the bathroom is a tight squeeze to get in and out. And when you are sitting down, your knees are in toching distance with the wall - and we are not big people! There is only a 14 inch CRT TV which is adequate if you just want to watch the BBC World news whilst sitting on the sofa but not if you want to watch a film whilst in bed. Anyway, in this day and age, you would have thought NCL would have larger flat screen tvs. Also, although there is a coffee maker with sachets of coffee for coffee drinkers, there is no kettle for tea drinkers, although tea bags were provided. Obviously, you would not want to make tea in a coffee maker.  Read entire member review.

Don't Panic! by ajb1605
9626 - balcony cabin aft; between two stairwells/lifts, and nice and quiet without being too far from anywhere. Very impressive storage for a smallish space; adequate bathroom/shower; very comfy bed; nice little dressing table and perfectly fine sized balcony.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony (although it could really have used one chaise lounge), ample closet space for two people for 10 days, quiet at the aft of the ship, though obviously more motion.  Read entire member review.

Lots of storage bins, drawers, etc. Bathroom had 3 sections (toilet; sink; shower) which is great, plus a large, moveable faucet in sink (easier to hand wash some clothes). Shower stall has a clothesline. Two USA electric plugs. One European plug. Coffee pot and refrigerator in cabin. Fridge stocked as a mini bar. We only purchased one item. Cabin is just slightly forward of mid-ships. Very convenient for getting around. Room very quiet, but balcony could be noisy if our neighbors were also on their balcony at same time. Cabin has a safe, that comes in handy for passports and cash. Hair dryer was great, lots of power, did not need my own.  Read entire member review.

Ocean balcony was quite nice .. have to say, one of the highlights of the trip with given the variety of stops. Stayed in our room > 1/2 time on the ship. Was a double bed .. 2 singles put togther but more comfortable than expected. Had a couch, desk table and chair. Bathroom had a nice size shower and the toilet area had a slide door. TV was fairly small but didn't really use it much .. read, sat on balcony all hours of night and day.  Read entire member review.

Good size and location - midship and handy to the elevator. Quiet. Less organized storage space than an outside cabin but the pleasure of a balcony to offset storage.  Read entire member review.

Overall, very nice by SonomaCA
Basic mid-ship balcony room was nice, but a little small - especially the shower and toilet area was extremely tight for us. Not much space to move around. (Will go for a larger room on our next cruise.)  Read entire member review.

We liked our balcony cabin. Sure it was small but we weren't in it very much. There was adequate storage. Didn't like the old time TV. We liked being aft near the elevators. Would have liked conditioner in addition to the shampoo.  Read entire member review.

I always thought that cabins like ours directly at the staircase would be loud and noisy but we were nicely surprised how calm it was and made ways to other venues very short.  Read entire member review.

Good position on ship with a nice balcony . Easy to get to the other areas of the ship without needing to use the lifts. The bathroom is good but the cabin is one of the smallest I have been in. It is ok if your neighbours are quiet ,if they are not then it spoils the cruise. Its time NCL banned smoking on balconies nobody wants that horrid smell drifting into their cabin.  Read entire member review.

Learn the tips and tricks of NCL by Monica Loves To Cruise
No complaints on deck 10 with a balcony. We didn't hear a ton of noise from other rooms or the hall, I got a whiff of cigarette smoke ever so often. The rooms are pretty much the same as other cruises. I liked that they had a white duvet instead of those thin bed spreads. Storage was fine, I kind of wish I'd brought a cheap $2 pack of hangers. We had a nice bathroom with a separate door for shower and toilet with the vanity in the middle, which is different than our other cruise and was a nice touch. Room service feature is nice but maybe not as efficient as possible. Our room was always very dusty and I'm a clean freak so I would rate is a 3 for cleanliness but that's just me being too white glove clean.  Read entire member review.

Great Ship...Great Itinerary by Texansfortravel
I was very impressed with the space of our cabin. We had a balcony room on Deck 11 (11502). Our suitcases fit under the bed and the closet was very spacious. There were plenty of drawers and cabinets for storage. The bathroom was more spacious that some bathrooms I have had on other cruises. I liked the tub/shower combo. We could have used a cabinet in the bathroom but there were plenty of shelves.  Read entire member review.

Our mid-ship balcony was quite lovely. Overall we were quite comfortable there for the week. A good amount of storage. It was relatively quiet. Unfortunately, we did seem to be getting cigarette smoke from the room next door through the vent in our closet and of course, from the balcony. Yuk. Would love to have a non-smoking area of the ship next time.Bathroom was a bit cramped in the toilet and shower stalls, but very well appointed.  Read entire member review.

Mid ship with balcony. Deck 11. Choose wisely some of these rooms are underneath the kids club (deck 12). Spacious enough, with enough storage room. Balcony is good. Somewhere quiet to go to. Happy with bathroom, with a bathtub!  Read entire member review.
