Cabin Rating

The room was small, but probably not too small for a cruise ship. The "cold" water in the sink was tepid and tough to drink. The mini-fridge didn't really cool. The window was nice in that it let in some light from the atrium, but the curtain was completely see-through so if you want any privacy you need to use the blackout-shade. Overall, it wasn't too bad for 1 or 2 people.

Cabin 6277 Promenade View was opposite the Dog and Badger but minimal/no noise could be heard.  Read entire member review.
cows everywhere and way too noisy throughout the day and night  Read entire member review.
Enjoyable first cruise by SherryLK714

Room was more spacious than I expected. It was very clean and bed was super comfortable. No complaints at all. It was nice to have a big window overlooking the Promenade. I would book this type of room again with no reservations.

Promende window has partially obscured view of Royal Promenade (sign in the way) and looks over the Champagne Bar. Not a great view of the parades but fine for people watching. Absolutely no issues with noise from Royal Promenade. The cabin has a connecting door to 6321 and there may be some noise concerns if you do not use 6321 for kids etc., however we had quiet neighbours so did not hear much  Read entire member review.

6563 Next to service area, which may have been where the tapping sound at night was coming from. Otherwise very quiet although overlooking the promenade. Could have done with more drawer space.

The rooms themselves were fine, but located immediately above the Promenade pub and across from the Promenade speakers, which made them very loud until 12:00 at night. If you like to go to sleep early, these are not the rooms for you!

The beds were comfy, and the rooms were a reasonable distance from everything. Our room attendant was good, and we always came back to find the room straightened up and clean.

6579 and 3581. Over a pub, don't book these.  Read entire member review.

Fine. A little short on drawers, but closet had shelves. A little extra space due to interior window overlooking Promenade.

Fun in the Sun by Ms. Cruiser
Cabin 7309: The cabin had a wonderful window seat to relax and watch the people roam the promenade. The bad was very comfortable. The closet was okay- not enough drawer space. Window was a little dirty, but still very nice. The one advantage of this room was even being an inside, you had tons of light from the Royal Promenade. Just remember to close the drapes when you change. Great location- mid ship. The shower was small- difficult to shave legs in. Due to the bed having a curve at the foot of it, walking space around was tight. Around the bed was the only walk space into the room. Due to having both a small couch and a window seat, plus a large glass table, floor space was at a minimum.  Read entire member review.
Big ship for little money by southwalescruiser
Promenade cabin on deck 7. Nice and light, plenty or room, no noise at all from the promenade below.  Read entire member review.
Slightly disappointing. Lack of drawer space - plenty for a 3 night break but not sure there would be enough drawers if you were on a 2 week or longer cruise. Excellent shower.  Read entire member review.

We had promenade cabins 7557, 7559, 7561 and 7587.  Nice rooms and good view of royal promenade

Exceeded our Expectations by Barbara Marson
Spacious, great bed, fair size closet, quiet location.  Read entire member review.
Inside promenade cabin with an internal door, the room has a nice bay window overlooking the promenade so great for parades etc as the prom gets really busy. the room has a voile curtain for privacy and black out curtains too. no noise as it all quietens down by 11 - 12 ish. the room has a nice sitting area with 2 small sofas near the window and a little glass coffee table. nice mini bar and fridge and the room has tea and coffee, cups, kettle, sugar, milk etc. lovely big getting ready mirror with concealed cupboards and shelves for cosmetics and side lights with a dressing desk area and a chair. plasma TV with loads of channels and the TV is quite big. again more shelving area above the TV with 4 drawers underneath great for underwear socks etc. fab walk in wardrobe with abut 35 hangers and suitcase space and room for around 12 pairs of shoes which we had. nice big double bed, it says queen in the brochure but it was as big as ours at home and that's a king, very comfortable and nice crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. bedside lights for reading etc. nice bathroom and as big as you would/should expect, it had shampoo and nice soap in there, great powerful walk in shower, lovely towels and a nice sink area with large mirror good lighting and again more concealed cupboards. air con which can be hot or cold but the room was never as cold as I would have liked but then I do get very hot. great room and good value for money and we cant grumble about anything in the room, I was amazed I got everything put away when i unpacked as I took far to much with me ! room cleaning was perfect and twice per day  Read entire member review.
PR 7581 is mid ship, meaning a distance from any elevator but has little movement due to sea state. The glass was in dire need of cleaning. The adjoining door allowed noise to seep, and our neighbors enjoyed late night gatherings (college girls in large groups).  Read entire member review.
A Wee trip to Ireland by Host EJNutz
Cabin 7609 This was on Deck 7 and had a window looking out onto the Promenade. The room was nice and spacious. It came with a mini fridge, kettle and hair dryer. One thing our cabin steward did not provide us with cups. There is plenty of staorage of space but it is lacking in drawers. The safe is modern and easy to use. The TV is big and the online account system was good to use. The bathroom was a reasonable size.  Read entire member review.

7611 and 7613. Cozy, adequate, dirty windows. Overlooks barber shop.

We had a Promenade Cabin which was ok but not worth the extra money. As it was small and you couldn't see any of the parades etc, which is the main reason for booking it. To be honest unless it was a free upgrade I wouldn't bother with it.  Read entire member review.

Nice size for 2 people. Plenty of storage space. Window out to Promenade was nice -but a little strange to look across and see into other people's cabin. Much prefer the shower doors in this cabin to the curtains on some other ships - but it is like showering in a old style phone booth. The water temperature was set too low and we had maintenance turn up the heat, and that fixed that!

Indy Med for November by boingboingbaggy
Disabled PR 8315 Loads of room if you turn the bed around and take out the table. 3 x electric points for chargers etc. Bathroom is a wetroom with a rather small pull down seat so we took our own bath stool as a support to the seat. Lots of drawers to put things but couldn't quite fathom the pull down bar in the wardrobe!! Overlooks the Cafe Promenade but never heard a thing at night, pitch black with the curtains drawn. Seems this cabin is popular as we tried to book in the future but its fully booked for the next two years. Highly recommend this cabin for the more restricted disabled cruisers.  Read entire member review.

Accessible Cabin 8315
Lots of room for two wheelchairs, wet room spacious but need a bigger shower seat (used a deck chair instead).
Closet has pull down rail which in all honesty got in the way for us.
No noise at all even over looking the Promenade.
Needs settee nearest window to be moveable so a wheelchair could watch the parades if they so desired.
Overall very suitable for the disabled cruiser.

8537 Promenade view
Had a view overlooking Vintages wine bar. Didn't hear any noise from the promenade. Nicely sized cabin, enough storage room, nice seating area, quiet.

Large enough for two - really good sized bed. Remarkably quiet even from adjoining cabins. Need both round and flat pin electric adaptors  Read entire member review.
Although smaller than normal we had a promenade cabin. I liked it very much as although it was an inside cabin that extra window overlooking the promenade was just great to sit in and watch the promenade shows or just people watch.  Read entire member review.
Promenade window seals seem to be going. Should consider single plate tempered glass.  Read entire member review.
Mostly great cruise by RocketCity

Great space. Love the second couch. Good for a pillow on the side as a reading nook. Enough storage for us and room to maneuver around. This is our third time in one and it seemed a little bigger. Have been on 6th and 7th decks before. This was 8 mid-ship. Noise level no problem, with exception of two big party nights. Room was over floating bridge and provided a great view of those events.
