Across from crew space but did not notice any noise. Below Solarium and there was often noise very early and late, but it didn't last long. Some people might be disturbed, though it wasn't really a problem for us.  Read entire member review.

Not enough storage lost a storage cabinet. Noisy overhead was Windjammer. Balcony was great and love the shower doors! Did not use the tea maker but husband would have loved for coffee.  Read entire member review.
Cabin was a great size room but the storage space was limited without the storage cabinet that used to be on the ships. At times could hear the furniture from Windjammer being moved around. Nicely decorated. Light and airy feeling in the cabin.  Read entire member review.
Cabin - we had 1400 which is a corner aft on deck 10. This was a great cabin. The walk aft was not an issue (especially after eating). The peace and quiet was nice. The view was unbelievable. I am now a committed aft cabin junkie. There is nothing like wake watching at sunset with a glass of wine!!! The cabin was much larger than a typical D1 balcony (it was almost as big as a JS). The room does have the infamous "stripper" pole. It is located at the foot of the bed and was not an issue in walking around (it did provide some interesting entertainment on several evenings!!!). The balcony was huge. It had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table. The room and balcony are directly underneath the Windjammer floor structure. We did not hear any noise from the Windjammer. The overhead did cause most of the balcony to have limited sun and lots of shade. While the ship was moving there was a nice breeze but while the ship was still the air was a bit stuffy. The overhead did also protect us from the smokestack dust that was visible on the aft cabin balconies that were below us. They seemed to do a very nice job of cleaning the dust every day but one of our Meet and Mingle friends that had an aft on deck 9 reported that the dust was not only on the deck but also on the loungers and table. I would imagine it could have gotten on your clothes if you left them out to dry. I probably would not take that risk and would aim for a deck 10 aft next time. Another thing about our balcony - the ships structure was sloped toward the corner. I am very tall so the far corner parts of the balcony were a bit low to my liking but I never bumped my head. Again - this was a great cabin and I would try to book it again. Wait a minute - strike all of this - the cabin was terrible and you should avoid it at all costs (so that I can get it again)!!!  Read entire member review.
1400 is a great aft cabin with an extra large balcony and extra floor space.  Read entire member review.

Nice stateroom without a connecting door and sofa bed. Very comfortable bed but a little short on wardrobe space. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water and a strong shower. Occasional clanging from the window cleaning gantry but only in rough weather and sea state. Very slight throb from propeller's, but again only in a rough sea state.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 1700 was amazing, I would highly recommend!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! by viv chapman
Cabin 3312-an Ocean View Cabin. Compact cabin, a large bed with a memory foam on top of the mattress, which did not improve the comfort; about one foot of space either side of the bed, which backs onto the window. Good storage, good sized wardrobe with safe and sufficient hangers and shelving. Drawer units either side of the vanity unit, and a tray with a kettle(bring your own coffee!). The en-suite is compact but efficient. The housekeeping was good, with the room being kept clean and tidy. No fresh air, but the air conditioning worked reasonably but occasionally made a loud noise. Deck three at the same level as one of the Dining Rooms.  Read entire member review.
6377 - not many coat hangers at all. No sofa bed, just normal sofa. Great balcony which gets majority of views whilst afternoon, evening sun trap. Very quiet room.  Read entire member review.
very Nice cabin, pull out couch, nice view, ajoining.  Read entire member review.
Cabin was spacious, comfortable and well placed. Aircon was great, wardrobe plentiful and loads of storage space. Bathroom more than adequate with great shower. Balcony perfect for sunrises although views were not always good when docked from this side.  Read entire member review.
Bit of a blog by NorbertsNiece
Thoughts on the room : Some of the TV channels on board tend to be repetitive and show the same thing ad infinitum (The Ricky Nelson story.... the same episodes of Only Fools and Horses.....Porridge). And it seems every time I flick through, the Animal Channel has meerkats. Love the RCI channel itself featuring the building of Voyager and the refit of.... can't remember.... but fascinating. Good movies. Shower is very small but very powerful. Graham Seymour (CD) did a fine impression of a couple in the shower at last night's Mr & Mrs show. Bathroom is intended for solo use. Fridge does definitely keep my water nice and cold. Clothes storage..... well.... let's just say I don't mind creases. Safe is very useful. Lots of little cupboards behind mirrors but to be honest the one in the bathroom is adequate for what we brought with. Balcony is wonderful. Pity no lounger.  Read entire member review.

Good spacious cabin with decent sized balcony and unobstructed views. Well looked after by steward.

#7676 D1 Superior Balcony Port side Aft - Great Stateroom, very quiet, wonderful location - have booked same again for next year !!!!!  Read entire member review.
Great balcony but could be furnished more imaginatively. Hidden storeage space, look more closely. Bizarre smells along the corridor, deck 7.  Read entire member review.
The cabin is nice. Unobstructed views, towards the back of the boat on the aft side. We had the views of each port from our side of the ship, was was nice to see both docking and departing each destination.  Read entire member review.
Never again! by malcolm rodker
Great view, quiet although close to service lifts, unaware of anyone else nearby, very clean with all you could wish for in a cabin. It is well worth paying the extra for a balcony as we spent a lot of time in our cabin in order to escape the crowds. We would have been totally miserable had we had a inside cabin.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was very nice with ample room and plenty of storage space. The beds are high enough off the floor to store all the suitcases under them. The bathroom linens and amenities were very good. The balcony is a little larger than many others we have had.

New Year Cruise by Marie Robson (Murfee33)
The cabin was quite long from door to balcony. That was a fair size. The shower was on the small side, luckily we are not large people. the bed can be separated, into 2 singles and we found them comfortable. We had a kettle, with tea and coffee. We drank the water in the shower and had no problem. The water was always hot, and the shower was simple to use.Plenty of hangers for clothes, and there are two rails that can be pulled down from the wall for hanging short items. There's a safe inside the cupboard, and shelves. Also plenty of drawer space along the wall. We had a sofa, which was probably an extra bed.  Read entire member review.
We had 9330 and in laws ha 9332 and we could open our patio door so that was nice. Our location was perfect, close to the elevator for my mother in law but two flights up to the pool decks! Very quiet!  Read entire member review.
Loved our cabin location on the "hump." We were lucky to have it. Great balcony and able to see forward and backwards.  Read entire member review.
D1 cabin was great. More room and larger bed, nice balcony, same small bath and shower. Life jackets stored inside closet, not on top as in some ships. Refrigerator is not a true refrigerator. It's a electronic coolatron type that only cools to 20 degrees F below ambient. Hard to hear announcements with door closed. AC worked very well. Hot water all the time. Hair dryer needs to be replaced. It worked for about a minute, then overheated and shut down until cooled. Take your own instead.  Read entire member review.
Perfectly Fine by funandsun

Very happy with the size and location of this cabin. There is nothing other than cabins on deck 9, so there wasn't a lot of traffic or noise even with the cabin being so close to the elevators and stairs. It was very convenient to walk up the two flights of stairs to get to the Windjammer or pools and walking down to deck 4 for the main dining room and casino wasn't that bad, either. There were a couple of small maintenance items that should be addressed (loose balcony door handle that wanted to pull away from the frame, for example), but nothing that really impacted our enjoyment of the cabin. The balcony was roomy enough for two chairs, a small table and a larger chair with footrest (not a lounger). I would book this cabin again without hesitation.

This cabin was pretty noisy. We could hear a door above us opening and closing pretty regularly. There were also a lot of kids around us so there was a lot of running up and down the halls and stairs at all hours of the night. It is a standard balcony cabin and is slightly bigger than the Superior Oceanview cabins.

The cabin is an excellent position with the best view due to being on the bump out. It is adequate in size and has excellent storage. The bathroom is not large but uses the space well. Even though we were very close to the elevator lobby, we never heard any noise while in our cabin. I would choose this cabin again on the Freedom class ships.

We were pleasantly surprised at the facilities offered, but the tea making was limited to an awful brand of tea and the distemper type whitening liquid in capsules, served in cardboard cups. The resulting 'tea' is really revolting. This needs serious revision. Why not china cups or even mugs? Why no coffee or lemon tea sachets. The hair dryer was a bonus, but the thermal cutout operated after about ten seconds of use and a wait of two minutes was needed to start again. Very frustrating! Shower gel would have been a welcome addition to the inventory. Save the Ocean is a creditable policy, but our towels were changed after being used, despite hanging them up on the towel rails. Balcony a great bonus space.  Read entire member review.
quiet location, sea facing when in port, great mix of sunrises and sunsets, spacious, comfortable, great balcony  Read entire member review.
Reasonable sized cabin; small shower room; quiet location [except for neighbours slamming their doors]; must have porthole. Deck 2 ideal location when pretty bad seas experienced.  Read entire member review.
On level 8. Great balcony. Couldn't find fault with room or facilities.  Read entire member review.

Great view and nice size. Plenty of storage space.  Read entire member review.
On the Voyager class and Radiance Class ships...the amount of space to store things is wonderful. you slide all your empty luggage under the bed. There are never enough hangers for me, so I pack the cheap plastic hangers..about a dozen, and sometimes that's not enough for me. I'd say they give you about 18 hangers. There are 7 drawers and inside your closet there are about 5-6 shelves to lay clothing on. Lots of floor space for your shoes/purses. A nice medicine chest in the bathroom and at the desk where you can put your make up on, inside one of the drawers is a hairdryer and then there are 2 little closets on each side of the mirror that have about 5 shelves that you can put things like meds, deoderant, hairspray, etc. There is a desk drawer for brushes combs and makeup. There is a safe in each room. If you ever traveled on the older ships, the room you get in these rooms is like that of a motel room...everything works perfectly, unless you are rooming with kids and that rarely works well with how kids put things away.  Read entire member review.
