Not exactly spacious but clean and well kept. Difficult to shower without repeatedly banging elbows on walls of shower cubicle. Good balcony offering unobstructed views. Soundproofing between cabins could have been better especially through the 'closed off connecting door'. Room service excellent.  Read entire member review.

Small, but size sufficient. Did not like the bunk bed lay out at all. Directly above our bed. Beds very comfortable.

Great cabin but had to put the coffee table out on the balcony to ensure maximum room.
Did not like the "fat mirrors" though Ha Ha

Starboard side balcony cabin - just about big enough with seating area, large wardrobe space and good size bathroom with shower, the balcony was only just large enough for two chairs and a stool which you are expected to use as a table. Room service is offered but there is nowhere for you to eat a meal unless you use the coffee table.  Read entire member review.
SMOOTH SAILING! by NC travel gal
Nice room. Large Balcony. Balcony is at back of ship and has some obstruction, but overall a nice Panoramic view.  Read entire member review.
Room 660. Really spacious. Plenty of storage and close to everything  Read entire member review.
The room was lovely it had everything you could want on a holiday a small seating area inside and a lovely balcony. We were opposite the lifts but we never heard anything, we had children in the next cabin and never knew this until we were in Gran Canaria and they were on the balcony so the rooms are well insulated.  Read entire member review.

Room Was very spacious with a huge pullout sofa. there were 4 of us in the room 2 adults and 2 children and had enough space for all our stuff.

We were towards the back of the ship (port side) in a connecting room. Our neighbors were French and we could sometimes hear the husband when he was annoyed with something- rather gruff with his wife, but she could hold her own. :) The room was great. Plenty of room for the two of us. We spent lots of time on the balcony! Room attendant (Aleen) was terrific.

Our Review by Broomboy1948
Cabin has enough space for 2. Bed was wonderful, pillows were perhaps not up to scratch-some passengers carried their own, so perhaps experience tells. The bathroom was compact but adequate. The balcony had the usual furniture and no restriction to views.Close to forward lifts and stairs with no intrusion of noise from corridor traffic.  Read entire member review.
Connecting cabins, 7304 and 7306. Great location. Very quiet. Balcony divider opens. 7304 had a pullman, 7306 did not. Very comfortable with 2 adults and 3 kids (12, 15, & 17). Lots of storage space. Would definitely book thes rooms again.  Read entire member review.
Independence of the sea room 7312. Nice room. Decent closet space. Great balcony. Quiet location. Bathroom shower like a standup tube. Very small. There are no electrical plugs except by the TV, so forget any device by the bed unless you have an extension to run across the room. Comfortable bed. Temp control works ok. Had to ask for ice, shampoo. Hair dryer in a draw by TV. Cannot be moved. Bathroom has a special plug for an electric shaver in the ceiling. That's it. Toilet is small. No irons.  Read entire member review.
Good Value for Money Cruise by John Longstaff
Cabin 7314, Balcony cabin, spotless, quiet area of ship just about half way on port side of ship.  Read entire member review.
I felt our cabin was a bit small for 4 people. The bed was a very big bed and there was not much room when the settee was folded out. There was plenty of storage space and the room was maintained very well by our room attendent. The balcony was great although there were only 2 chairs for a cabin for 4 people.  Read entire member review.
Awesome by 2nd time cruisers
ROOMS: they do what they say on the packet so to speak, call me spoilt, but we always have a outside stateroom as it has a balcony due to my other half liking to sit out and read. He's also an early riser so he tends to sit on the balcony and watch the ship dock as the various places. The bathroom was big enough, the wardrobe was also big enough if fitted all mine ooops all our clothes in, plenty of draws, bed big enough an curtains kept the light out so one could get some sleep. Door opened wide enough to get my wheelchair in once it was folded up.  Read entire member review.
Just off the stairway next to the Library. No noise. Balcony slightly angled which prevents view of the front of the ship.  Read entire member review.

We were able to reserve cabin #7408 after doing some research on Cruise Critic (aft balcony, starboard corner). We loved our balcony - it was the best one we've ever had! It wasn't as big as my imagination based on the descriptions and some videos I'd seen, but it was really, really nice. We could look down into other balconies, but no one could look down on ours and that was nice.

They had egg crate foam on the very large bed. It was so comfortable!

There was ample room to store clothing and supplies for all three of us, but I do also bring a shoe holder to give us extra storage space. There were six drawers in the dresser, and one drawers and a cubby hole in the each of the two night stands, along with shelving in the closet. We also use the space under the bed to store the suitcases.

I loved the way that they used the space in the bathroom to enlarge the shower. It was a circle that extended a little way into the bathroom. It gave more shower space and didn't take too much space from the interior of the bathroom. I would have liked two side medicine cabinets instead of one.

The interior of the cabin was a little smaller than the Disney Fantasy cabin, but it met our needs well. My daughter slept on a bunk bed that came down from the ceiling and loved it (Disney had a fold out couch that wasn't nearly as comfortable as the bunk bed). We didn't love the bunk bed to the extent that we both hit our heads on the bed (it stayed down all week), but we got used to it after awhile.

Our cabin attendant, June, was great (though I was disappointed that we only saw towel animals on three of the eight nights - my daughter was looking forward to them as well). Since RC doesn't provide chocolate on the pillows, we should at least get towel animals, I think. But the lack of towel animals was our only complaint about June, and in fairness, we didn't mention it to him.

Cabin 7408. Aft corner balcony. Room on small size. Balcony huge! Balcony 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs, 1 small side table. Depending on wind direction, got some smell of ship exhaust. No noise heard.  Read entire member review.
Nice location. Close to the stairs. No noise from Elevators at all.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 7610 (E1 category), Good quiet location near lifts.

First time we had balcony cabins after nine other cruises, (four cabins for the eleven of us). We would not do without again. Bathroom was better than expected, pull down bunk was OK for kids, not for an adult in the three adult cabin, steward gave us a roll away bed after the first night! Much appreciated. Cabin location amidships was fine. Was easy to get to dinning rooms or entertainment venues.  Read entire member review.

Very quiet hallway location, close enough to elevators to be convenient but not close enough to hear any foot traffic. Note; The aft port side bank of elevators (the one nearest this room) is the only way to access deck 14 by elevator, where the Olive or Twist Lounge and Diamond club are located, so if you are going to frequent those places, get a room here.

Great balcony - cabin would be a bit cramped for 3 people on a longer cruise but was satisfactory for a mini cruise.  Read entire member review.
Adequate by sierra28546

Room had queen bed, sofa, table and built in desk. Lots of little nooks and drawers to put stuff in. Closet has several shelves and safe and plenty of hangers. Bathroom is normal postage stamp size with shelves on both sides of mirror. Great shower spray, small shower... Room itself was clean but what I call spit and shine. Found food under sofa (gross), hairs in bathroom and also in desk drawers. Curtains smelled musty, if had been longer cruise probably would of asked to have them changed out. Balcony had two chairs and table. Spent tons of time out there!

Our Balcony stateroom was fine, it had enough room for our period of stay and was kept tidy enough, although you will find better kept staterooms.  Read entire member review.
Good midship location, all ship facilities in easy reach. Plenty of storage (the usual), large balcony. Quiet.  Read entire member review.
Loved having the divider between our balcony and our son's balcony open so we had one big balcony that the whole family could enjoy... spent many evening on it.  Read entire member review.

OK but just OK. by spideyswims

Perfectly placed on the port side as we got the full sun on the last day.
Spacious enough for our short cruise in the English Channel.
8522, high and low enough to have a great sea view, and quiet enough too.
Comfortable bed, bathroom big enough for the two of us.
That's it really.

Surprising amount of room in the cabin. The bed was very comfortable.
The cabin steward was a very hardworking person, nothing was too much trouble for him. He looked after us very well.

Great location although the bed coming out the celing would not be suitable for a child much older. Our 11 year old clattered against the rails.  Read entire member review.
E1 Balcony - Average Size - Average Closet space - Blinds ripped (changed on final day) Bathroom small but sufficed. Balcony ample.  Read entire member review.
Our Cabin was a Deluxe Balcony Stateroom number 8574. The cabin was excellent, larger than expected, with a comfortable Queen Size double bed, TV, Kettle with tea bags (Coffee has to be got from room service, but its free, Fridge/mini bar. Shower and toilet were a good size as was the balcony. The Cabin was quiet clean and in good condition and if you get Grace Santos as your cabin attendent you are sure to be well looked after.  Read entire member review.

Great view, nice and quiet too.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 9406 is smaller (shorter) than other deluxe balcony staterooms. It has a loveseat, not a couch. It's position at the very back of the ship is nice and quiet, however, the steel girders curving around the stern block the view of the ocean somewhat. It is a quite location but it is almost 3 football fields away from the gym / bow of the ship. Internet reception inside the room is fine, but there is no Internet reception on the balcony. Balcony is larger than most with two chaise lounges, plus two chairs plus a table.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9588. Very centre of the ship, long walks to the lifts (foward and aft). Decor of cabin very poor, looks like something from the 70's.  Read entire member review.
Apalling by arnhem12
Nasty carpet. The sort of hairdryer I'd expect in a Backpackers hostel, no toiletries, no robe, no slippers. The in room tea/coffee facilities were also worthy of a Travelodge, rather than a 'Deluxe' room. We were kindly left a note halfway through the holiday because we could smell that they were obviously having issues with the drainage. It asked us not to use too much toilet paper. How much is too much?:- after all there were no bidets. The Shower was broken - water helpfully coming out of both ends.  Read entire member review.
Aft balcony was great, however because of the metal across the back, it was not as nice as aft cabins on other cruise lines.  Read entire member review.

Adequate as long as you can get your cases under the bed. Wardrobe door opening arrangement is very awkward and could easily be improved, Starting to look a bit worn but nothing big enough to be an issue.

We were in cabin 8594 port side cabin was large, spacious and very clean top class  Read entire member review.
The room appeared clean and the service from the hard working steward was good. Our balcony was on the 8th deck with a nice view, but the plastic strap chairs were very uncomfortable. Smoking from other balconies will drift into your space.  Read entire member review.
