Wardrobe too small - possibly because we took too much stuff, you'll be fine if you've flown in. Bathroom lovely. If you want a sea view, but (like my wife) don't actually want to look down at the ocean when ship is moving, then choose midships on deck 6. You get a nice view, but lifeboat obscures the view downwards. Wouldn't suit everyone, ideal for us. Avoid being near the "shoulders" of the ship, balconies are not private.  Read entire member review.

Winter Escape by Cruiser Susie
Very convenient location; close to central bank of elevators; close to dining, stores, specialty restaurants and other venues; did have slightly obstructed view with the lifeboats right below our balcony.  Read entire member review.
Celebrity Eclipse - 7199 - Balcony Stateroom We sense it is a little smaller than corresponding stateroom aboard "Celebrity Constellation"? Great balcony. Quiet. Mid ship. Not at all rock-and-roll. Bathroom small but workable. Men, beware the "artistic" sink whose fancy spout nails you in the head when bending down to shave. Bring hangers for your bathing suit etc ... nowhere near enough hooks! TV (Apple TV) takes some getting used to. Persevere, and you can call up really cool videos of the ship being built (hint: in the video-on-demand but not pay-per-view).  Read entire member review.

Great room first room on the mid hump the bed let you lookout to the sliding glass door. Location was a very short walk to the elevators and a few feet from the planet earth room
It was quite and had enought storage for us.
The room was quite and very clean
I would recommend this room.
You do look down at the life boat but can not see them from your room. The room is on the Starboard side
right side of the boat

cat 1A, # 7290. This is on the aft angle of "the hump." We loved our cabin! The decor is upscale and understated, there was plenty of storage for two people on a 7-nighter (big luggage fit under bed), and the bathroom was very nice. Yes, the toilet paper holder is annoying and so is the faucet, but I wouldn't have paid these any mind if I didn't know to look for them. The balcony on this cabin is one of the extra large ones, it is about 50% of the total room size - which was amazing and I spent a lot of time out there. The table is eating height and chairs are comfy even though they have no footstools. The location behind the flat part of the hump meant we felt no wind, even when it was really blowing by. We also were able to sit out there while it was raining (which happened a lot on this cruise) and not get wet. This was also a great location, right near the middle elevators/stairs (we almost always took the stairs to avoid waiting around) and it's true, being midship really does limit the feel of motion. We found the bed super comfy too. Also, it was a really quiet cabin. We never heard a peep above, below or nextdoor. We liked the TV and how it works for many functions (facial recognition with the photographers is cool and it shows your pics while the radio feature plays) and were pleasantly surprised with the channels, which had current sporting events and lots of free, pretty recent on-demand movies. There was a day when the accounting function broke down ship-wide and we laughed at the misspellings on tv, but overall it was nice. We did have a couple odd moments in there. One night I head a gentle thudding noise and assumed that was the normal ship creaking sound I'd read about, but in the a.m. we realized that the divider between ours and our forward neighbor's balconies had come unhinged. Guest relations sent someone to put in new bolts. Beware the doors though - pull them hard. Maybe it was just our cabin, but the door was hard to close all the way and lock. On the first formal night around midnight we were watching a movie in bed when a lady in a black evening gown opened our cabin door! She looked mortified to see us cuddled on the bed in PJs and ran. We thought our door was closed! Our steward brought someone to come look at the lock in the a.m. and nothing was broken.  Read entire member review.
Great balcony real close to the elevators. Did not have any noise problems. the balcony dimensions are est. to be 8.75 ft. wide at the door and 10.5 wide at the balcony railing. The left side (facing the ocean) was about 12.25 ft. long and the right side about 10 ft. long. this is not warranted to be 100% accurate and your measurements may vary ... Spent some time out there every night.  Read entire member review.
A Truly Beautiful Ship by CruiseladySeattle
8199 is close to the forward elevator but we really needed to use the midship elevators most of the time. It's on the forward bump out so I felt the balcony was a bit larger than average as it's wedge shaped. No problem with storage, bath design is very good. My preference would be for a C1 on the aft, or even better, a Sky Suite, but this was fine for only a week.  Read entire member review.

Very good. large balcony, close to the lifts, very quiet, no outside noise no creaks at all when the weather was rough, enough space for our things, loved the TV, enjoyed the kettle  Read entire member review.
Made informed choice to book a hump cabin. We booked veranda 1A cabins 8226 and 8228 on Vista Deck. 8228 has a balcony twice the depth of a normal cabin whilst 8226 was three times as deep. Very little drawer space in the cabins.  Read entire member review.

If you can get one of these kick out balcony cabins grab it. The balcony is bigger and great location. The room is about the same as the others offered but the draw is the balcony.

Loved this cabin. The balcony was larger than normal. It was very close to the elevators.

Cabin 9207 was comfortable with a nice private balcony. It was clean and promptly serviced. If anything could be improved, it would be more drawer space. The closet was big enough. It was fairly close to elevators and we didn't have any problems with noise.  Read entire member review.

We chose a 1A cabin with veranda that was "on the hump." The Solstice-class ships have about a 20 cabin hump on both sides of the ship that sticks out and provides larger verandas than others as well as WONDERFUL cabin placement with a view from the veranda to the front of the ship. By "wonderful cabin placement" I mean they are perfectly situated as far as being near the elevators and the stairs at midships. Far enough from the elevators and stairs to not hear any noise but close enough for easy access. Right next to the card room which was always busy but is so well insulated we never knew it.

Cabin 9237. Bed by closet. Very, very little room to walk between end of bed and wall and we are not large people. Was told this was THE premium hump cabin with "HUGE" balcony. It was indeed a larger size balcony but would not consider it huge. This balcony on Solstic was larger. Still, it was nice to have extra room. Wish they would provide foot stools for ALL verandas, not just the conciercge and above. The older ships had padded loungers which were nice. Now you have to prop your feet up on the bottom rung of your little table. There is no wind on this balcony and the room is very quiet in location. Would book it again. Just don't be mislead that it is a "huge" balcony. It is indeed oversized but not huge.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 9237. This cabin was ideally placed, almost central. Close to the lifts but not so close as to cause any annoyance. The beds were comfortable and not too small and there was enough storage space for all of our clothes. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was powerful enough to get a good shower. The balcony was of a good size and not overlooked at all. Our Cabin Steward, Jose, made sure that everything was kept spotlessly clean and tidy. If I ever book to go on Eclipse in the future (and I sincerely hope I do) then I would pick this cabin again.  Read entire member review.

9268 - great location on the ship. Close to the elevators, very quiet room. Took 2 minutes to get down to the dining room. The cabin is beautifully decorated. Storage is lacking a bit (only 4 small drawers but there is a large cupboard over the bed). Plenty of room to hang clothes. Nice large balcony, with an unobstructed view to the water. Bathroom has lots of storage and is quite roomy.

Huge balcony, great view, and quiet location. Bed is near the bathroom and couch is near the balcony. Can not see the back of the ship, only can look forward.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 8258 Good Size and immaculate. Mid ship & close to the elevators. It wasn't noisy Balcony was slightly bigger due to the start/ lead up to the Hump. The bathroom had a great shower with proper shower doors - (hate those curtains)and was spacious and spotless. The bed is nearest to the bathrooom. The bed is high enough to be able to put suitcases under and the bed was quite wide too. The only down side was lack of drawers - there are a couple of cupboards above the bed but they weren't easy to get to.  Read entire member review.
Good room - spacious - good amount of storage. Decent size balcony with plenty of room. Close to lifts made it very assessable. Room was quiet.  Read entire member review.
