Not a luxury cruise! by gttexascruiser
Room 7001 was in he front of the vessel and we "rocked" differently, but not a bad experience. Loved the fact we saw both sides of the ship. Ship, being small, was subject to cause sea sickness for my wife and many others. Larger ships would not have even felt what was rocking the Quest.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was on the smaller side, but nicely appointed and comfortabley laid out. The closets were adequate and had enough hangers for most of our clothes. The bathroom was small but adequate, with the shower being smaller than most we have used in the last few years. Overall, a comfortable room for the two of us.  Read entire member review.

Black Sea Voyage by captainmcd
This cabin is on the port side midships. It was quiet, and although the bathroom is small, it was adequate in all respects, and it had tons of storage space for clothes and suitcases.  Read entire member review.

We thought our room was terrific. We had plenty of room for all our clothes as well as storing the suitcases, having the balcony made it heaps better and nice quiet spot to sit with a drink/coffee or just to sit and watch the waves. Had a perfect view both at sea but more so when arriving into ports, was a comfy spot to sit and enjoy. Would definitely book this room again... no negatives..  Read entire member review.

Beautiful Antarctica by autumn lass

We had cabin 7060 which is midships. It was a quiet cabin with good storage. The shower as on all R class ships is small. The balcony is small and the new table too big for the space, however the new chairs are comfortable. The new mattresses are very comfortable

7065...good mid ship location. Typical of R class...functional but small, especially the bathroom.  Read entire member review.

Well positioned with easy access to laundrette, staircases and elevators. None of the cabin in this group of ships ( The old R Ships) are particularly large but they were of a sufficient and comfortable  Read entire member review.

We had cabin 7074 on the port side of the ship. If I had to do it again, I would book the same cabin but on the opposite side of the ship. Two reasons; first, we were just about directly opposite the laundry room which Kathleen said she didn't mind so much but I thought it was a bit too crowded outside our door on many occasions. The second reason is that I would want to be on the starboard side in Hong Kong so you wake up looking at the city and not at the pier. Other than that, it was a 1A cabin, the same size as the Celebrity C class ships. The bathroom was small but that's what you get on a ship. Especially a ship this size. You can't take a shower without having the shower curtain glued to your backside. The cabin die great for us. We were pleased and would have no problem booking the same class again.  Read entire member review.

Balcony cabin 1A on deck 8 forward starboard. Good location, especially for Hongkong as you have a wonderful view of the Hongkong Island skyscrapers and the evening laser show from the balcony. Compact sleeping and seating area, but adequate for short cruise. Definitely would advise balcony cabin as gives just that extra bit of elbow to spill out. Plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space. Very comfortable bed, linens and pillows. Handy to have hairdryers in shower room and stateroom. Very cramped shower room - if you are on the large size, the shower will be a tight squeeze! Worth considering a sky suite - not really a suite as everything is in one room, but nearly double the size of the balcony stateroom with a reasonable sized bathroom and bath with shower over - if you can afford it. Airconditioning a bit noisy, but you get used to it.  Read entire member review.
