16 Days on the High Seas by Naval Aviator
Average cabin with a good location mid ship between the elevators and stairwells. Easy to get to both the main stage and restaurants. No drawers to put your cloths in. Veranda appeared smaller than most. Good size bathroom with a bath tub.  Read entire member review.

Very quiet location except for being across from the cabin stewards' utility room. From time to time we could hear them in the early morning hours. Counter top area is a bit small and because we had a frig there was no room for shelving in this unit. Many shelves in the closets with nice in-room safe. We enjoyed the size of the bathroom that had tub and shower. Cabin was immaculate and the a/c thermostat worked like a charm. If we turned it up or down a degree, it actually worked. There was nice air flow all the time. Cabin seemed to be very stable as well in this location. Balcony was nice but narrow so there was no room for a lounger. I would have liked a lounger but this really was of no consequence since we were crossing the ocean, the weather was usually on the cool side.  Read entire member review.

Room 5080 - Port side, center of ship, low deck = least possibility for movement. Great location.  Read entire member review.

Our First Cruise by Daisyloo
Loved the location. Midship, only a 5 rooms from the midship elevator so easy to get around. Very quiet, never heard any noises. 3 good size closets. Small balcony, but big enough for 2.  Read entire member review.

VE 5087 PERFECT location - almost the center of the ship. Plenty of closets, four small drawers in the night stands, small safe in the closet, large bathroom tub/shower combo, view good if you look OUT at the water but life boats are right under the balcony so if you look DOWN it is an obstructed view.  Read entire member review.

Desk/vanity table size too small almost even for a lap top. We otherwise enjoyed the cabin and its comfort. The veranda didn't get as much use as we thought it would (a bit shallower than expected) but was appreciated at times and worth the extra cost. I was impressed by the acoustic insulation. Hardly ever heard anyone else. Everything was small, but you're on a ship! Unless you can afford a penthouse, that's what you get.  Read entire member review.

The Cabins-Verandah Superior Ocean The cabins are inadequate if you need to split the beds into twins because it becomes extremely tight to maneuver around. The curtains in the room are so thin they are almost sheer therefore the sunlight comes through very early in the morning. Verandah rooms on the 5th deck views are obstructed, although HAL does not consider these obstructed view, they are, the lifeboats are on Deck 4 below and the lifeboats block a portion of the view when you looking out the sliding glass doors.. When you sit out on the verandah the lifeboats block about 2/3 of the view through the glass railing. . They do not have enough Handicap rooms on this ship for a cruise line that caters to an older population. When we spoke with the Front desk they told us every cruise there are more requests for Handicap rooms from people with disabilities then they have rooms for on each cruise. While it is a nice touch they have tubs, in most of the cabins, they are not useful to an older person or one with a disability who really needs a shower.  Read entire member review.

Eurodam Caribbean Cruise by CoupleOfNuts
This was a great cabin - close to elevators, but very quiet. Good midship location minimized the boat rocking. Layout of room is great, table raises/lowers and can be moved out of the way as needed. Desk was handy for our laptop, and the wireless was adequate - not fast, but you're at sea, so adequate for our needs. The cabin we were in wasn't large - average sized in comparison to what we've had in the past. We loved the balcony, and the fact that it is about 18 inches narrower than the balconies above shouldn't deter anyone from booking this room - if you don't, we will!! :-) Bathrooms and all anemities were great. Best bathroom layout we've seen, and it had a full-sized tub/shower. Hair dryer and shampoo/soap is provided.  Read entire member review.

5108: In all aspects very, very good. 7006: Noisy AC, but very good ventilation. Fantastic beds. Nowhere to sit.  Read entire member review.

We were in Cabin 5110. This cabin is right between lifeboats 12 and 14 and so we were able to see the water straight down from our balcony. If you were on either side you would not be able to see the water straight down because either of those lifeboats would block your view and you would only see the water beyond the boats. Another time we will choose a higher deck even if it costs more.  Read entire member review.

beware- life boat directly underneath your cabin-  Read entire member review.

The lifeboat obstructs part of the view although this is not mentioned in the booking information. The room and balcony are small but adequate.  Read entire member review.

5122 excellent cabin. there were 3 of us. cabin compact but it worked for us. bathroom compact but very functional. the only thing lacking in the smaller cabins such as ours was space! and there's plenty of that on the rest of the ship! also it helped that we had a balcony, there was lots of space out there, not usable but looked spacious!! good position midship. very quiet, often thought we were the only ones on the ship!  Read entire member review.

Adequate size. Comfortable bed. Nice verandah. Just above lifeboats.  Read entire member review.

No way to hang long garments in the closet and the location is odd. Obstructs the bath door and the lighting is poor, so we could never really see what we pulled out. Our balcony kept flooding and we were unable to use it until we complained and 2 room stewards cleaned and somehow got rid of the water. We liked the location near the elevators and it was not noisy. There is no laundry facilities (which we were used to on Oceania and Princess) but the one charge for all you can stuff in a bag worked great and the clothes were returned in under 24 hours nicely done.  Read entire member review.

Small space but nicely appointed: good bedding, bathroom amenities, bathtub, DVD player. Limited storage.  Read entire member review.

The cabin and balcony were good. The bathroom was a good size with the bathtub/shower combination. No drawers for clothes but the closets had ample shelves for clothes. We were mid-ship across from a crew service area and at times were able to hear some noise around 11 PM at night.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was a VE Veranda on Deck 5 of the Eurodam, ports side and mid-ship. It was perfect in having everything we needed and nothing we didn't. The balcony was just big enough for us to sit, stretch out, enjoy snacks and take in the views. Inside we had plenty of closets space with adjustable shelving and plenty of hangers. There was no noise other than the a/c. We loved our room enough to book it for our future cruise.  Read entire member review.

Deck 5, port side, Veranda. Our cabin was just right, nothing extra we didn't need and all space maximized to be comfortable. We really appreciated having plenty of hangers and closet space with adjustable shelves. Having wall mounted pumps in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body soap were awesome, no awkward rolling around sample sized bottles, no spills, no running out. Lotion though, Eurodam, we needed some Elemis Aromapure lotion mounted in a squeeze pump beside the sink.  Read entire member review.
