Cabin 4182 Eurodam.
Aft cabin smack dab in the center(wake-watcher)- very nice. The room was long, but somewhat narrow which made for difficulty retrieving items from the small, dark closets. The verandah was quite large (8.75Wide x 6.5Deep). The bathroom was ok excepting no storage space for normal bathroom goodies. There was no noise other than normal ship sounds, and the ride was totally smooth. Read entire member review. |

Tiny balcony with poor furniture. Closet too dark. Bathroom old with chipped tub. Cabin nice and large. Good color scheme. Drapes nice. TV way too small and not interactive. Great bed side lights. Nice side tables with locking drawers. Read entire member review. |

- I had to report a problem with the bathroom : indeed impossible to have a constant temperature, especially in the shower (the water goes from cold to hot), despite several interventions, the problem has never been resolved;
- problem of evacuation of water in the sink in the bathroom: problem solved within 48 hours;
- mold in the bathroom, and hair on the floor;
- a persistent puddle at the bottom of the tub;
- Air conditioning is loud and the fan is installed just above the bed is not very nice to receive a - direct and prolonged fresh air on yourself;
- the cabin door to access the balcony is not practical at all: it is heavy to handle, take up much space on the balcony and does not in the open position and a sliding door (like all other companies) would more convenient and less dangerous;
- a tiny television in the cabin; Read entire member review. |

Our cabin VA5188, was comfortable with adequate room to relax and store our belongings. Close to dining room. Good balcony to enjoy sunsets or take photos of our ports of call. No distracting noises and only mild vibration occasionally from the engines. No noticeable sign of rolling or movement from the ship. It was a great experience! Read entire member review. |

Nice, very comfortable cabin. Plenty of closet space. A bit tricky learnign how to work the motorized curtains...the button that operates them are all the way on the other side of the bed and their not marked. From a design perspective, you would expect them to be in close proximity to the curtains.
TV could have a better selection of programming for news outlets...no business news like Bloomberg, CNBC or Fox Business network. While at sea, we caught up on a few movies with the free DVD rentals. Read entire member review. |

6166 is an aft verandah cabin. The balcony is bigger, but the cabin is a touch smaller because of the curve of the stern. Instead of a sofa, it has 2 chairs. Otherwise it is identical to all other verandah cabins. The view is great! Read entire member review. |

Typical verandah, two wicker chairs and small table. On deck 7, or Rotterdam deck, forward of midships. Nice bed, extra pillows, some smell in toilet which they finally overcame by putting something in the water, which worked well. Closet space reasonable, no noise in hall even though cabin is just around the corner from the elevators Read entire member review. |

Aft cabin 7138 Rotterdam deck of Eurodam. Cabin was longer by about 5 feet to same cabin category on port side of the ship on same deck. Views were expansive and there was no noticable extra vibration or noise due to location. Read entire member review. |

Rotterdam Deck #7143 ~ Dim, Dark & Smelly. While the cabin smelled & looked clean at first glance, the closets reeked of stale cigarettes. We kept majority of our clean clothes in our suitcases so they didn't smell and used the closet for dirty ones. If you use the closets, you'll need a flashlight/book light as they are not well lit. In 7 days, we didn't spend 10 minutes on our balcony -- what a waste of money -- and in our past balcony cruises, we ate breakfast every morning out there and spent much time in the evenings & while in port enjoying it. Being on the back was the kicker I believe, because opening the door was like turning on a suction machine drawing all the smoke from surrounding cabins right inside ours and if you were out there, it was unbearable. I do really think it was the aft location because we've been on both Celebrity & Princess side balconies, and while it would occasionaly annoy us, it certainly didn't keep us from being out there & enjoying ourselves. Reasonably good size but a little drab. Some creative use of colour would help. Good privacy on the balcony. Some noise from children running around in the corridor above (we were below the Spa so it wasn't a problem at night). Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8012, very good storage, comfortable bed(s)
Shower a bit tricky to set temperature, we found.
Nice balcony.
Gooseneck reading lamps and night light are well thought out. Read entire member review. |

We like to be mid ship so chose a cabin accordingly. We did overlook the lifeboats which seemed to stick out more than other ships we have been on. It was not obtrusive and did not obstruct our view but I would avoid being over them in the future. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was great. All we had to do was go up one floor for the dining and to the pool. There was plenty of room for storage, including 3 suitcases. Read entire member review. |

Can have some noise as tables, etc on the Lido deck are rearranged. However, the cabin is otherwise completely silent. Also, the "structure" above the veranda is better for visibility than others on this deck. Read entire member review. |

Great balcony and not far from elevators. Ship movements were exaggerated but I think that is because we were on Deck 8. The Lido is right about the cabin and everyday there was some rattling noise coming from upstairs that was quite loud. If we had stayed in the cabin more I am sure it would have been annoying. Not enough shelving, but ample closet space. Large bathroom, full tub and shower. Comfortable beds, couch for two, small desk. Balcony slightly larger on the Navigation deck Aft than the VA cabins facing the sides - about 2 feet more deep. Good overhang on Navigation aft makes balcony completely private, and sheltered from rain and spray, but still short enough to get some sun. Quiet - very little hall noise as it's at the aft, very little noise from pool deck above except for during the day, with the occasional chair noise. Read entire member review. |

Our room was 8171, at the very aft, next door to the suite with the wrap-around balcony. I would not recommend this room if you have issues with noise. Our crossing was fairly rough, so people were not eating around the aft pool, but once the weather settled down, and they did eat there, we continually heard moving of chairs. Our room was small barely enough room to cross between the bed and the wall, but we did have a small sitting area with couch and table, and our balcony was large enough for 2 chairs, small footstool, and very small table. Quiet location. Near the Crow's Nest ( but not a lot of noise ) and library. Not a true balcony room. Good storage but smaller than expected. Read entire member review. |

Long and narrow. The bathroom was a bit larger than on other ships and has a deep tub. I don't know if this is standard for all the rooms or not. Closet space is somewhat limited but adequate. The balcony has room for two chairs and a small table. There is a love seat and small chair at one end, with a coffee table so you don't have to sit on the bed all the time. Flat screen TV. Nice carpet/decor. Excellent bed. Read entire member review. |

On deck 8 just below the Lido deck. Great position. No noisy rooms overhead and close enough to the lifts.
Balcony was adequate and we enjoyed it apart from the smokers next door.
Room smaller than we expected but big enough - see review for more information.
We heard no noise from the cabins each side and I hope they did not hear us as we spent night after night coughing.
Cleaning was not as good as on previous ships but not worth complaint although I don't think the balcony was cleaned at all.

7119 - typical veranda with tub, two hanging closets and pull down shelf and closet with shelves and safe. 2 chairs and little table on veranda. Comfortable bed. Not a lot of movement in cabin on crossing compared to other areas on the ship- away from hallway activity but close to elevators for restaurants. Read entire member review. |

Just a reminder for those who book on the Navigation deck floor #8: There was a lot of moving furniture right above our cabin especially in San Juan. They were setting up a buffet on the pool deck above us. We did complain as it appeared that the towel rack was above us too. There was a lot of movement of people walking on a daily basis. The ship apologized with a plate of chocolates, just what we did not need! (repeated from above) Read entire member review. |
