While 6055 is an excellent cabin for it's location on the ship and it's size - the cabin itself is showing some wear. These are things that can easily be addressed in the next dry dock. We had scuffed/stained furniture and walls. The furnishings on the veranda were also showing their wear as well. The tables were both stained, which I believe had to do with salt water. This is why I did not give the cabin 5-6 stars. Other than that, the cabin is immaculate and I appreciated the space in the cabin. The bathroom was fantastic with two sinks, a shower and a tub/shower!

Nicely located not far from the center elevators. Sinks in bathroom were "cracking" or "crazing". Otherwise cabin was very nice, roomy. There were 3 of us and there was plenty of room.  Read entire member review.
HAL--NEVER again by bcruiser1
Cabin was spacious, and so was the closet area. The room was strange because with three people, it had one converted sofa staring into the bed. Also, they didn't make up the sofa each day into a bed.  Read entire member review.

Large balcony,Quiet area, near the elevators, mid ship  Read entire member review.

Wonderful cabin, as always. SS suites are still my favorite on the seas - so much larger and more comfortable than the standard balcony cabins, yet not too expensive or too big - the Goldilocks of cabins!

We were pleasantly surprised to be in the last signature suite next to the elevators, which are glass and are actually on the outside of the ship. We had a quiet room and never heard any noise, so sleep was ideal. The beds are awesome, we were asleep moments after our heads hit the pillow. Lots of room for clothing and regular hangers (not those with a notch that hooks into the base). Double sinks and a shower and a hot tub with another shower in the large bathroom. Ask for this room, it's in the center of the ship.

The stateroom we had was lovely and well appointed. The balcony was large and wonderful and we used it a lot, just to relax and read. The beds and pillows were good and everything worked fine. We were very comfortable in the room. The only issue we had was that the room cleaners were so efficient that you had to be careful what you placed in the wastepaper basket, as it was gone almost immediately.

Nicest balcony for cabin category. The room was extremely comfortable and bathroom great size. Shower leaked on the floor and tub wouldn''t drain as it should.  Read entire member review.
SS 6088-it was a connecting room (which we didn't need) so because of the connecting door we were short a closet. Next time we will know to check the brochure more closely. Had a very large balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 footstools-more than ample room. Loved the location of the cabin being close to the mid ship glass elevators. Very quiet room. Also loved the bathroom with dual sinks, bathtub with shower, PLUS a separate shower. Lots of ample storage in drawers and closet. No electrical plug in by bed so if you have a sleep apnea machine you need to plug it in by the desk beside you-which means you have no choice which side of the bed you want to sleep on.  Read entire member review.

A Good spacious Stateroom,

Suite 6094 was great for all aspects.  Read entire member review.
Our suite was spacious. Not as efficient as can be.  Our cabin was missing one closet because of an adjoining door.  Nice touch with separate shower stall but it was not useable because water leaked out past the curtain and small ledge.  We felt vibration of the engine when in bed but didn't bother us from sleeping.   Read entire member review.

Cabin was nice. Sometimes had to wiggle the toilet seat to get it to flush. Separate shower stall was useless (to small to do anything other than stand straight up). Use tub shower. Tub wouldn't drain completely (no standing water . . . just a little residual water around the edge), but stewards cleaned and dried it every time we left the room. Plenty of storage. Go for the balcony if you can afford it.  Read entire member review.
We were in stateroom 6099 which is a suite mid-ship. I will have to say that the room was disappointing because it was so small. Vale and Natalie were 3 star Mariners and they also commented that the Eurodam has the smallest cabins of all the Holland America ships. Our stateroom was comparable in size to a Princess Mini-suite with a balcony. The Eurodam suite was far more expensive than the Princess Mini-suite. We had a mini-refrigerator, jetted bathtub, good sized shower, double sink, 3 large wardrobes, a sleeper couch, table, 2 chairs and a stool, 2 desks and a queen-sized bed. We had a fairly large TV and DVD player. There were 10 different glasses in our room of various sizes. In the shower and bathtub there were three containers on the wall, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. They also had the best lotion I have every used. The bathtub also had a place to hang your hand washables. I liked the door to the balcony (not a sliding door). The deck furniture was wicker and the floor surface was wood looking. The colors were dark brown and orange with blue accent pillows.  Read entire member review.

We always get a Superior Veranda Suite. They are perfect for us. Two sinks, two showers and plenty of storage space. Everything was perfect. We've always kinda said that "someday" we would spring for a Neptune Suite, we got a good look at one the day we disembarked and to tell you the truth, they are not a whole lot bigger, there is more room in a Neptune so if you had more than two people it might be worth the extra cost (our lowest bump up price was $500.00 each and I'm glad we stayed with out original cabin.) Our cruise consultant really pushed for us getting a starboard side cabin but you know, it really didn't make a whole lot of differance. A port side cabin would have been just as good I think. A few nights into the cruise our "towel animal" reminded us of our dog at home whom we were starting to miss, so our steward left it for us the rest of the cruise. Of course, we got additional towel art every night after that too. (as an aside, we left an additional $120.00 cash tip just for our stewards Gusti and Joko.) No matter what time of day it was, we always had fresh ice in our bucket and fresh fruit in the basket. Pretty quite location but some guests are just plain rude letting their doors slam shut instead of quietly closing them like civilized people do! If I had to nitpick a negative, it would be the casino. We like casinos and would have gone into this one but we didn't want our "good clothes" to smell like smoke. It's something that should be improved upon if at all possible. Also, the disembarkation process in Ft. Lauderdale got pretty bogged down but it wasn't entirely HAL's fault, world events at the time made everything security wise much slower.

Room was nice with great mattress loved it! Balcony wide enough with dining table so we had lunch on there, fantastic! One TV that swivled to couch or bed area. bath with tub and shower. We had more than enough room.  Read entire member review.
Perfect location for this trip - got to watch all the port activity when docked. Room was comfortable and quiet - close to elevators for dining without being on the main walkway  Read entire member review.
Excellent bathroom, lots of storage space, huge veranda, convenient to elevators and both Lido and Rembrandt dining rooms  Read entire member review.
Great Cabin, lots of room a storage.  Read entire member review.
Plus: We had a Superior Veranda Suite. It was large, very comfortable (king bed)with a HUGE bathroom (separate shower and bathtub). Plenty of towels. Lovely veranda with seating for 4. Our steward did a beautiful job, even vacuumed the sand on the veranda we had dumped from our beach shoes. He kept our ice replenished faithfully, which was appreciated. Room service was spot-on, quick with hot coffee and hot breakfast to order. The thermostat was easy to adjust. Minus: We did not like the "exclusive" spa products provided--body wash, etc. The bottles of drinking water were expensive.  Read entire member review.
