Nicely located not far from the center elevators. Sinks in bathroom were "cracking" or "crazing". Otherwise cabin was very nice, roomy. There were 3 of us and there was plenty of room. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was spacious, and so was the closet area. The room was strange because with three people, it had one converted sofa staring into the bed. Also, they didn't make up the sofa each day into a bed. Read entire member review. |

Nicest balcony for cabin category. The room was extremely comfortable and bathroom great size. Shower leaked on the floor and tub wouldn''t drain as it should. Read entire member review. |

SS 6088-it was a connecting room (which we didn't need) so because of the connecting door we were short a closet. Next time we will know to check the brochure more closely. Had a very large balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 footstools-more than ample room.
Loved the location of the cabin being close to the mid ship glass elevators. Very quiet room. Also loved the bathroom with dual sinks, bathtub with shower, PLUS a separate shower. Lots of ample storage in drawers and closet. No electrical plug in by bed so if you have a sleep apnea machine you need to plug it in by the desk beside you-which means you have no choice which side of the bed you want to sleep on. Our suite was spacious. Not as efficient as can be. Our cabin was missing one closet because of an adjoining door. Nice touch with separate shower stall but it was not useable because water leaked out past the curtain and small ledge. We felt vibration of the engine when in bed but didn't bother us from sleeping. Cabin was nice. Sometimes had to wiggle the toilet seat to get it to flush. Separate shower stall was useless (to small to do anything other than stand straight up). Use tub shower. Tub wouldn't drain completely (no standing water . . . just a little residual water around the edge), but stewards cleaned and dried it every time we left the room. Plenty of storage. Go for the balcony if you can afford it. Read entire member review. |

We were in stateroom 6099 which is a suite mid-ship. I will have to say that the room was disappointing because it was so small. Vale and Natalie were 3 star Mariners and they also commented that the Eurodam has the smallest cabins of all the Holland America ships. Our stateroom was comparable in size to a Princess Mini-suite with a balcony. The Eurodam suite was far more expensive than the Princess Mini-suite.
We had a mini-refrigerator, jetted bathtub, good sized shower, double sink, 3 large wardrobes, a sleeper couch, table, 2 chairs and a stool, 2 desks and a queen-sized bed. We had a fairly large TV and DVD player. There were 10 different glasses in our room of various sizes. In the shower and bathtub there were three containers on the wall, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. They also had the best lotion I have every used. The bathtub also had a place to hang your hand washables. I liked the door to the balcony (not a sliding door). The deck furniture was wicker and the floor surface was wood looking. The colors were dark brown and orange with blue accent pillows.

Perfect location for this trip - got to watch all the port activity when docked. Room was comfortable and quiet - close to elevators for dining without being on the main walkway Read entire member review. |

Plus: We had a Superior Veranda Suite. It was large, very comfortable (king bed)with a HUGE bathroom (separate shower and bathtub). Plenty of towels. Lovely veranda with seating for 4. Our steward did a beautiful job, even vacuumed the sand on the veranda we had dumped from our beach shoes. He kept our ice replenished faithfully, which was appreciated. Room service was spot-on, quick with hot coffee and hot breakfast to order. The thermostat was easy to adjust.
Minus: We did not like the "exclusive" spa products provided--body wash, etc. The bottles of drinking water were expensive. Read entire member review. |
