The room is spacious, excellent view-full veranda with window facing forward. Large accessible bathroom with shower and soaking tub. It would be perfect for 2, or 3 if the person needing accessible bathroom is able to walk in rough seas. This room is NOT FOR A WHEELCHAIR USER WHO DOES NOT WALK IN ROUGH SEAS. We were upgraded to this room, and appreciate the thought from the staff who did it. However, we were dismayed the first night when we came back to the room, the hide a bed was made up, and there was not wheelchair clearance to get to the other bed. This meant that if I needed a trip to the bathroom in the night our daughter would have to get out of bed and fold it. Luckily this didn't happen, but could be a problem to others. The bigger problem is that the hide a bed is BROKEN. The frame is bent, making it so uncomfortable that our daughter woke with a shore neck and shoulder, after a coupe of days, a serve headache in addition. We had head that someone had left the ship for medical reasons on our floor. Daughter went to the front desk to ask if she might be allowed to sleep there only. She was told no, but we three could move to a suite THAT WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE for an additional $800. The staff was totally unsympathetic and sent the room steward and supervisor to talk to her. They couldn't find a solution, other than adding another blanket under the mattress. They were both sympathetic and wanted to do something and tried. Our daughter took the mattress off at night and put it on the floor-not great but better than on the bent frame. THIS ROOM SHOULD NOT BE SOLD TO 3 PEOPLE UNTIL THIS BED IS REPLACED.
We changed cabins from a VE cat. to an SY cat. We were able to get this upgrade because the SY was a handicapped cabin at the very front of the ship which no one else wanted. My husband loved the size of the room. The bathroom was set up for wheelchair access which fortunately we don't need but it was fine. The stabilizers were terrific so even though we were way front most of the time it was smooth sailing. And since we were the first ones up front the cabin was very quiet. Read entire member review.
#5096 perfect location on ship. If you have a motion sickness problem, a great find. More storage than you can use, really! Small balcony, really narrow. You still have the full length of the room though. The lifeboats are directly under your cabin, and the workings take up your balcony space. Read entire member review.
This was a superb cabin, with lots of closet space, drawer space and generally delightful ambience. The only downside was that the TV had poor program information, and no on board account information. Read entire member review.
