VA 4181 is one of the penthouses of the Eurodam. Fantastic!!!! Quite corner location and wonderful room stewards. Balcony is massive!  Read entire member review.
Great wrap around balcony. Tucked away in the corner and very private.  Read entire member review.
The cabin had a balcony but a lifeboat was directly below us. We were near the glass elevators mid ship so it was very convenient to get to either end of the ship. It was very quiet.  Read entire member review.

We upgraded to this cabin after originally booking a Superior Verandah Suite cabin. HAL offered it to us at a lower price 30 days prior to departure. So glad we did it! The Neptune Suite amenities are amazing.

Larger than usual balcony that wraps around the port side of the ship. Balcony drove this particular choice for us. These cabin balconies are the only ones with chaise lounges on the ship. Included with the two chaises were two wicker arm chairs and footrests with a cocktail table on the port side area and an eating round table for four with four small arm chairs in the aft area of the balcony. This is where we mostly sat as the wind on the port side was pretty strong.

The aft cabin location is really far, obviously, from the front of the ship, but the proximity to the Lido deck food and the main dining room is great! Available decks at the time of booking were 5, 6 and 8 -- deck 7 is Neptune suite and is most desirable because you can bring stuff from there back to your room without going up/down stairs. Deck 8 rumored to be noisy, deck 6 connecting room (less closet space). Our deck 5 room accommodated only 3 people, however (the sofa bed only sleeps one here), which was fine for us. No noise from rudder at all -- we liked being down closer to water. We did find that we visited Neptune lounge a lot for their coffees (they have an amazing espresso machine.) and fresh juices and chilled water. It would have been dreamy to be closer to that.

Bathroom in cabin is same size as superior verandah suite. Two sinks, shower/tub and stall shower. We mostly used the shower/tub as it's hard to position the hand held device in the stall shower to avoid getting water on the floor. No plugs in the bathroom -- hair dryers and a plug for flat irons, razors, etc. are in the vanity area. There is no night light in the bathroom either. This would be really nice for night as we had to leave the full light on in the bathroom at night. No complaints about the dark sleeping area but it's hard to adjust your eyes at 3 am after leaving a fully lit bathroom! How to bring your own with no plugs in the bathroom? Find a way, if you can!

Cabin has extra little dressing/vanity area right outside the bathroom which was perfect for me changing with our son in the room. That area also has three mirrored single door closets (probably 12-18 inches wide each) which held all my clothes and the complimentary robes for the cruise. Dressing area has its own lighting, though not very good, as well as a close-up mirror and sitting stool.

Umbrella closet with umbrella right off cabin door. Never used this. Granite wet bar with cupboards for glassware and a mini-fridge as well. Great for champagne and hors d'oeuvres (Neptune Suite has tea sandwiches, cookies and desserts throughout the day that you can bring to your suite). We had fresh fruit in our suite daily. Also, the suite came with free laundry and pressing which reduced our packing -- hence saved us at least one checked bag on the airlines.

Sofa area had large sofa which converted to extra-long bed for 5'11" son to sleep on. Really comfy bed it was, he said! Two arm chairs plus a chair at the computer/TV desk make this area a nice lounge for cocktails before dinner. That, of course, plus the deck. The area was large enough to have room to walk between the table and the bed at night which made trips to the bathroom easy.

We had our bed put into the king size configuration. This "king" size bed is bigger than any other king/California king size bed I've been on! It has the width of a traditional king with the length of the CalKing. It was huge. No joke. Super comfy and came with 8 pillows, excluding the decorative ones. We had a bit of a challenge sleeping the first night due to wall/motor vibrations but this was not due to cabin location as our friends on the 8th floor forward cabin felt the same thing. Things settled down the next night and we slept better than ever. Note, there are no sheets on this bed. They wrap the comforter in a giant sheet that opens at your feet and that's it. I was really hot the first night but changed my sleepwear to shorts and a t shirt after that. Even with full AC, the giant windows in the cabin take in a lot of afternoon sun and the room stayed warm because of it.

There are three double door closets in the main cabin by the bed, one of which includes a safe. The closets have options of full hang or pull down shelves, plus a tie holder is on one door. There is also a locked bed table drawer for additional security if you bring lots of bling. There are way too many wooden hangers included in this luxe fest as well. Complimentary shoe shines for all cabin categories.

This was an amazing cabin. I don't think we'll choose it again but we had a great time here! For us, we think, we'll stick to the Superior Verandah cabin as our choice. That being said, if an opportunity to upgrade for a discount cost comes our way, we'd choose it again but would go with a room on deck 7 as we really did like the proximity to the Neptune Suite. Also, for whatever reason, it seemed our cabin steward was more overwhelmed than usual. Perhaps because he had more rooms on deck 5 to deal with. Being midship is really ideal for us.

Our deluxe suite was on the aft port side of the ship on deck 5. Slightly smaller than normal Neptune Suites with nice modern furnishings ( I liked them better than the Noordam's equivalent suites), not a hugely wide balcony for the aft compared to some other ships but good enough spanning 2 sides of the ship with a table/chairs and sun loungers. We were happy to watch the fjords go by there on one afternoon. Excellent cabin attendant.

Awesome location. Very quiet. 55 feet of balcony was awesome. Outside furniture beat up! Tables faded. This is a deluxe suite and it should have some nice teak wood furnishings like Princess uses on their full suits! Very private balcony. Plenty of storage space and nice bathroom lay-out. Carpeting was a bit worn, furniture showing wear. Flat screen TV should be wall mounted, not on the desk (which is useless with a TV bolted to it!) Steward was awesome, as was laundry service.  Read entire member review.
Fabulous aft wrap around balcony. Spacious room. Slept well and did not feel much motion despite being in the aft.  Read entire member review.
SC 5186 - Lots of closet space, very quiet location, large wraparound deck. Plenty of storage if you use the drawers under the bed and in the nightstands. Beds were a bit firm for our tastes but they weren't uncomfortable. Nice 42" flat screen TV with DVD player. Refrig well stocked but leaves little space for person drinks and wine bottles. Safe easily accessable and easy to program.  Read entire member review.
cabin 6059 carpet needs to be replaced sofa is also looking a little ragged space wise great...lots of closet and drawer space bathtub has a crack...need to repair or replace did not see instructions on operating the shower and bath faucets might be helpful to some.  Read entire member review.
Nice size with couch, two chairs and coffee table. Great desk under the window if using own laptop. Great wardrobe space in both the walkin robe and by front door. Dressing table in the walkin with hairdryer and most appreciated magnifying mirror with light. Did not really appreciate the balcony as the weather not good enough to be outside. Cabin stewards absolutely fantastic - we could not fault them.  Read entire member review.
I had the time of my life! by evansofelmhurst
No complaints about our room - it was beautiful. Generous closet space - we couldn't use it all! Big veranda with plenty of seating. Large bathroom with separate vanity area. Very well done!  Read entire member review.
Lots of closet space. Great balcony. Bathroom was a great size. Comfortable bed.  Read entire member review.
We had Deluxe Verandah Suite #6102. We enjoyed the location as it was easy to access the lido and also the rear pool area. We were nestled between two other SB category suites - the majority of deck 6 comprised of verandah suites so there were less passengers than in other parts of the ship. The only drawback is that we were not on the same floor as the Neptune Lounge which we used more than we had predicted. Next time we will book SA category on deck 7. I would recommend this suite to anyone seeking a large, comfortable space. We spend a lot of time in our suite reading and relaxing so taking an expansive suite is something we enjoy. We were very impressed with the amount of storage.  Read entire member review.
Cabin #6105 Get this suite if you can. Beautiful, spacious, tons of space, huge bathroom with double sinks and plenty of room to spread out your toiletry needs. A whirlpool (don't get excited its tiny, no one but a tiny kid could take a whirlpool bath in it) bath with a shower head in it, and an additional shower stall in the same bathroom! My boyfriend and I could take showers at the same time, using different showers, at the same time; it was awesome! No waiting to take a shower! The veranda is huge, a sitting area with small table for and two lounge chairs (wicker) and a big table with chairs around it are on the veranda allowing you a place to dine or a comfy place to read a book. We had a huge king sized bed with the most soft, wonderful sheets and blankets, a huge couch and sitting area... the list goes on. Closet space? We had tons! Oh, and I had an area to blow dry my hair and put make-up on and they had a make-up mirror for me! We had so much space we could hide our 3 huge suitcases!  Read entire member review.

Miss the Eurodam by donman223
Our stateroom was spacious and quiet, we enjoyed a little extra room due to its location and the balcony was extra large as well. The bedding was outstanding.  Read entire member review.

cabin 7132 was large. very big closets and much storage space. had a large bathroom with separate shower stall and whirlpool bathtub. also had a private dressing area with lighted makeup mirror. has a large desk area, sleeper sofa, 2 chairs and dining table. the balcony is a large aft corner wraparound with 2 loungers, dining table with 4 chairs, side table, and 2 queen chairs with ottomans. we loved this cabin but did have more motion when we had rough seas. so i would not recommend for people prone to motion sickness.  Read entire member review.

Large and spacious, enormous closets, fair size bathroom, the largest balcony you can imagine, room service was out of this world  Read entire member review.
Had a deluxe suite and it was deluxe in every way-very spacious, very comfortable, very quiet and very well designed  Read entire member review.
The eighth deck veranda cabin was around 200 sq. ft. plus a balcony with two chairs and a small table. Storage cupboards were tight; no bureau and only a rudimentary desk. furniture was utilitarian without much style, but the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was small but adequate; limited shelves for toiletries. Location was near the hall, so noise was sometimes a problem, but the gentle motion of the ship soon put you to sleep.  Read entire member review.
