Substantially larger than a balcony stateroom, a mini-suite includes all the same amenities of a balcony stateroom, plus the added luxuries of a welcome glass of champagne, separate seating area, sofa bed, two flat screen televisions, marble top furniture, a closet and bathroom tub.
This was our first mini suite as we had three people instead of our normal two. It was quite large and very impressive. Plenty of storage room for the three of us and unless you need to take every pair of shoes you own and more than one suit there should be no problem. The balcony seemed smaller than any we have had in the past but may be because the table, and chairs with separate ottomans took up so much room (the table seemed way bigger than any we have had in the past). The full tub was a nice feature but the towels were like drying yourself with a bath mat. We tried the pool towels and they weren't any better. The televisions were quite nice and the selection of things to watch was very impressive. You could start a movie, go out, and upon return pick up wherever you left off.
