These cabins are of a nice size and well appointed. 342 is in a great midship location, just a few steps to the wraparound promenade deck. The room did get stuffy at times, even with the AC set at its lowest; they measured the temperatures twice, but the issue was more of air flow, with the sofa area adequate but the head of the bed lacking proper circulation (the temperature of air coming out was fine at 17C, but the volume of air was insufficient and the other side of the room was at 23C or warmer). The front desk was very responsive to this, and a fan was brought in. Some may find it a bit less than ideal, others would have no qualms at all, and for us it did not impact the overall enjoyment of the cruise in any way.  Read entire member review.
There is a chair in the room that just seems to get in the way. Other than that, the cabin is serviceable. Plenty of closet space (enough for 2 people that drove to the ship and over packed). There were more drawers than we could fill. To keep the cabin from getting to hot, we kept the TV and lights off when we weren't there. You can feel the temperature go up quickly with 2 people, lights and the TV on. There is no fan in the bathroom, so it stays hot all the time. The bed was set up starboard to port. So you don't roll from side to side while sailing. That was nice. The room was quiet and only a few feet from the lower promenade walking deck.  Read entire member review.

Main deck 561. Inside, clean and quiet. Great steward service. Roomy closets, roomy bathroom; a desk and a couch.  Read entire member review.

We were originally in cabin 570. We were very happy there. At the end of the week we were having issues with the water (there was no hot water). After a day not being able to use our bathroom we were moved (7pm) to room 486. This was not a good room. It was stifling hot. The engine noise was close to deafening. Obviously whoever had had this room originally had complained a been moved (there was a used bathrobe left hanging from the hook). There was a fan pointed at the bed. We were not happy but were told there was nothing to be done. We were not offered any compensation for being downgraded to a cheaper room.

Since this was only a 7-night cruise, we elected to try an inside cabin. I couldn't believe how much room it had. There was ample storage with manu drawers and three giant closets that you could easily configure into shelves or hanging closets. There were plenty of wooden hangers and more if we needed it. Every room has a DVD so you can bring movies or borrow from the library. We used ours to look at the magician videos we purchased. The suitcases easily fit under the bed (2 twins pushed together into a king), and there were two night stands and even drawers under the bed. There are lights on the headboard so you can turn off/on every light in the room. The bathroom was plenty big with quality Elemis products. The shower was larger than on other cruise ships. The large counter with sink and corner medicine cabinet held all our stuff out of the way. We didn't miss the balcony at all for this duration of cruise. Our next Hawaiin cruise is 15-nights so we booked a balcony suite.  Read entire member review.
Inside cabin. Can hear the toilets flushing in the hallway. Smells in the hallway indicated the dinner menu. Enough closet space, especially for 5 days. Hit my head on the shelf holding the TV as I bent over to open dresser drawer. Needs updating. Dents in the walls! Beyond normal wear and tear.  Read entire member review.
Great Trip! by cleanhands13
We were in room 606. It was an inside cabin larger than other staterooms on other cruise lines. The room seemed to have some air conditionin issues. Our thermostat was always set to the coldest setting and sometimes it was comfortable, sometimes a little chilly and sometimes hot (never too hot, but hotter than I would like). The room was always clean. Our cabin steward (Komarurin) was excellent. He knew our names by the first day and greeted us all day long. We asked for a large wine bucket and he kept our wine chilled every day. It was an okay location. It was in the middle of the boat and about the longest walk to any of the elevators or stairs.  Read entire member review.
