Cabin: We were in Cabin number 6263, Category PR, with a view on the Royal Promenade. As with most run-of-the-mill cruise ship cabins, it was a slightly cramped, efficient and utilitarian cabin with lots of storage space, drawers and shelves. The cabin had a king-size bed that could not be separated into 2 individual beds, 2 small sofas, one of which is positioned in front of the bay window that overlooks the Royal Promenade. The bathroom is only slightly bigger than a phone booth used to be, but not by much. It also has a desk, a mini refrigerator, a flat screen TV and a hair dryer. That cabin has an adjoining door into the next cabin. On embarkation day, someone next door tried three times to open our adjoining cabin's door until I knocked on their front door and explained that if they tried again, I would call security: end of problem. I strongly believe in clear rules of engagement.  Read entire member review.
We're hooked! by ihavecats
Cabin 6263 is right above Sorrento's pizza. The only issue we had was noise from the DJ in the promenade on the first night. The DJ ended at 11:00, so it would not be an issue if you weren't trying to fall asleep. Unfortunately after a long day of travel and stress, we were wiped out. Never had an issue after that. We loved the cabin!  Read entire member review.
Promanade Problem by Jerry Cruise
Promenade cabin had little privacy and was noisy because of proximity to Promenade events. The size of the ship requires a lot of walking.  Read entire member review.
Unique room with added Ben and Jerry's" perks. "Plus" is the room gets some "outside light" from its mall window. We experienced no noise from the service area adjoining the room, nor from the ice cream shop below. But if you're early to bed you'll be in for night-after-night parades, dances, and other assorted spectacles that continue past midnight. That's true of all the inside Promenade rooms.  Read entire member review.
Big ship didn't disappoint by WillWorkForCruise121
This is the Ben & Jerry's suite. This cabin is a standard promenade cabin with a buch of special cow decorations. It included free Ben & Jerry's for the cruise and access to the concierge lounge which was a fantastic perk! I would absolutely recommend this cabin.  Read entire member review.

Stateroom 6327, Promenade Stateroom. Decent size for a smaller stateroom, fun room with a view of the Promenade. If you're so inclined, I'd recommend a Promenade stateroom on Deck 7, better view with slightly more privacy. Location of 6327 is perfect though, starboard side near centrum stairs and elevators, one flight down to Promenade, two flights down to dining/casino.

Room: We have always had a balcony room on other cruises, never anything smaller. We opted for a Promenade stateroom this time as our friends we were cruising with had a JS, so we could visit them. We chose the PR from seeing it on cabin crawl in November on the Voyager. (Cabin crawl is an awesome way to see other stateroom categories). We had adequate room. Closet was same as we had in our balcony room prior. The main difference was the bed. It allowed a smaller walking space in the room since the end was only 12 inches from the wall. We really liked the window looking out. It had 2 small seating couches & a chair at the desk. We had plenty of room for 8 days for the 2 of us. The bathroom seemed about the same size. The only drawback we had was where they place the light switch to the bathroom. It is behind the door. The door opens to the room, so if you turn the light on & open the door, it will light up the room & wake everyone up. The room is very dark, so bring a small flashlight to avoid this. We didn't notice any noise that bothered us. You could barely hear any from the promenade. Good location as we were above Guest Services, so noise was minimal.  Read entire member review.
Promenade Room 6329 great location, interior room with a view, quiet, enough room for what we needed, priced right, next to elevator, would book this room again.  Read entire member review.
Promenade cabin very small, bed divides it into to two areas. Lots of shelves and big closet. Promenade noise only a problem during the parties but then it's loud and can be later at night. Noise from surrounding cabins very bad. No privacy with curtains open - cabins across Promenade can see right in.  Read entire member review.
Smaller than anticipated but enjoyed overlooking the Promenade. This cabin was pretty far from the elevator.  Read entire member review.
Small but perfect for sleeping, promenade room, quiet even though having the window looking out to Royal promenade  Read entire member review.
Good sized closet, enough drawer space and shelves to put clothes. Bathroom closet had 3 shelves for toiletries. Bed was comfortable, a little narrow passageway to get around the bed to go to the other side. Nice little couch to sit on right at the window so you can look out at the promenade. Our room was just about mid-ship--good location, not noisy. (Just be aware that all of these promenade staterooms do hear the activites (parades, music) that is playing down below. But, it ends by about 11-11:30 and then there is no more noise. Unless you want to go to sleep at 9:00, don't worry about the noise.  Read entire member review.
Great view of Promenade, next to crew supply room, away from elevators  Read entire member review.
We had cabins 7287 & 7289 which are connecting Promenade cabins, each sleeping 2. The speakers for the promenade shows are close by and you could hear the music and MC during the shows but other than that both rooms are incredibly quiet(possibly the quietest of my 6 previous cruises). It was quite nice to catch the shows from our room as we were almost dead center. PR far exceeded expectations. Remember to close your drapes when undressing. Cabin was narrow but RC rooms in general seemed smaller. Very comfortable bed and linens. Adequate storage. Good room steward.  Read entire member review.
Nice room. Ample storage if you put empty suitcases under the bed. The room has a great central view of the promenade. You will hear noise from the promenade every night until about midnight. If you are early to bed and a light sleeper, don't choose this room.  Read entire member review.
No hallway noise, good use of storage space, loud in the Promenade area when events taking place there, bed was huge!  Read entire member review.
Convenient location beside lift and stairs, but not noisy. Overlooks promenade, but the top end so the noise of parades and bars is avoided. The only noise I ever heard were occasional footsteps - a few times during the cruise. I would book this cabin again.  Read entire member review.
Nicer than I expected! Closet was ample for 2 people for a week, smallish drawers but not too bad. Bathroom was great, what are people complaining about???  Read entire member review.
Not too far to walk from elevator. Small cabins. Good closet and storage space. Bathroom good size. Promenade windows a little fogged over not so clear to look through but could see things happening below. Rarely heard any noise from the Promenade events adn if you did very muted. Great blow dryer.  Read entire member review.
Interior Promenade Room #8261: Good view of Promenade (which makes the room feel larger), a very clean and comfortable room. Good choice for an interior room.  Read entire member review.
we had adjoining rooms, 8281 & 8279. We've never cruised before, but we were pleasantly surprised at the room size. suitcases fit under the bed, closet and drawers were big enough for all of our clothing. It was a quiet location on the ship. nothing negative at all to say about the rooms.  Read entire member review.
We had a cabin that overlooked the Promenade. With the angle of the heavy glass that distorted the view, it was not worth the money and we would not bother with it again. We thought the cabin was small and not laid out very efficiently compared to other cabins we've had even on smaller, older ships.  Read entire member review.
Cabin #8313. We could hear the TV from the room next to us and also talking.I think the room next to us had the TV on the wall where our bed was. We saw the room when it was opened. They should put beds with headboards back to back on walls so you don't hear TV's on all night. Room was big enough for what we expected.  Read entire member review.
Disappointed!!!!! by laurafig99

This room is extremely awkward. The doors to the closet are right by the cabin door and bathroom door. So, if they are open you cannot enter or leave the room, and you cannot enter or leave the bathroom.

More drawers are needed for the Promenade Staterooms (there were only 4 narrow drawers) Otherwise, a great room- no noticeable noise from the promenade  Read entire member review.
We had an inside Promenade state room. It was a very good use of the little space we had, with many drawers and plenty of closet space. It was comfortable, close quarters, but it was fine for what we needed. We always had hot water, and even though the water pressure in the shower was a little weak, it was a decent shower. The beds were comfortable, and we liked having the couches to throw stuff on.  Read entire member review.
Huge room, big bathroom with tub, tons of closet space, good view of promendade, a bit noisy during parades.  Read entire member review.
nice closet; bathroom was manageable... I was surprised. The promenade rooms are actually nice and for the price well worth it. This is a nice room if you are trying to save money and we had the 8th floor so it was easy to go up to the top and be outside.  Read entire member review.
We had a Royal Promenade suite and it was beautiful! Was really nice to be able to watch people and the parades without having to endure the crowds! We were not sure of an "inside" cabin, however this is NO inside cabin!  Read entire member review.
Loved our Promenade Stateroom - this is the second time we've selected that type of cabin. It is so nice to have the prices of an inside cabin with a window into the Promenade, to see what is going on at different times of the day and evening. Beautifully decorated, and loved having the small couch AND a window seat - very comfortable for 2 people.  Read entire member review.
Noisy during the shows and parade; keep your curtains drawn!  Read entire member review.
The Promenade stateroom is excellent value for the money. It's an inside stateroom with a view. If you choose the 7th or 8th floor the noise from below won't bother you and you can sit in your window seat and take in the sites below.  Read entire member review.
