Glad to see that the bathrooms are smaller and used that space in the Cabin. Walk in closet was great. Halls were nice and wide. Missed the curtain that divided bedroom from living room. Enough drawer and closet space even for someone (ME) who over packs.  Read entire member review.

Junior Suite with Balcony. Deck 10 - mid ship by main elevator. Spacious, nice balcony. Plenty of Closet space. TV was minimal programming. Bed was very comfortable and cabin attendant always had it made up. Every time we left the room - he went in and straightened things up and made sure we had plenty of ice. Bathroom small but adequate. Mornings had trouble getting cold water from sink but if ran long enough - success. Plenty of storage space for "stuff" Quiet location but if someone has a party on their balcony close to your cabin - the sound does travel. I don't think I would want to travel in a smaller cabin than a Junior Suite.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was great - we were 4 cabins from the Elevators, on the same side as Windjammer and Dining Room and were right near the concierge club. This was the best location we have ever had I think.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 1364 - junior suite - located toward back not far from elevators & steps -chose that location on deck 10 because it is just one flight up to the windjammer and right near the cafe on promenade deck 5 - quiet location - no noise from deck 11 - plenty of room and closet space - good size bath with tub - great balcony and great size room !!!! very good access to all parts of the ship from here.  Read entire member review.

Walk-in closet and a bathtub!! More floor space than either hump or aft JS.  Read entire member review.

The cabin is great.   Our deck 10 aft JS was probably the best.... Long room and LONG balcony.  Right below the Windjammer but we never heard any noise.   The balcony was not windy.   No vibrations from the ship and the only sun was got was when the sun was going down in the afternoon.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, nice big walk-in closet, bathroom good-sized, quiet location, hallway was not too busy. Pull-out sofa was not adult size. Two people could not sleep comfortably.  Read entire member review.

This is a wheelchair accessible stateroom so differs from regular Junior Suites providing more space than normal. Great balcony (double the regular D1 category) with 2 sun loungers and 2 chairs plus a small table, quiet location (except when kids run down the hall) with easy access to the lifts and stairs but no noise coming from them. Some noise from connecting stateroom. Easy access to Windjammer which is on the next deck up, but no noise coming from deck 11.  Read entire member review.

Very Spacious. Double balcony, big closet, roomy bathroom with handicap shower which was nice for the kids since they don't care for showers. Excelent location!!  Read entire member review.

The walk in closet, full bathtub, very comfortable bed, larger balcony, and nice seating area make this a great choice.  Read entire member review.

JS1706 Huge balcony and view aft is excellent. The furniture is a bit plain for a suite but of course it is a "junior suite". D1704 adjoining room was very nice and together was a huge space for a family of 4.  Read entire member review.

JS 1706 is an amazing value if you can get ahold of this one. The balcony is at least twice the size as a standard suite balcony. We did not notice any wind at all on the balcony even when the wind was 30+mph up on deck above. the view is great. Some may say they dont like the superstructure but it didn't bother us at all. listening to the prop wash was sooo relaxing. No smell of diesel fumes.  Read entire member review.

7412 Junior Suite Large room; comfortable bed. Sofa converts into sofa bed. Extensive wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space. Bath with shower over. Large balcony but restricted view and issues with smoke drifting up from staff smoking area on deck 5 and with staff staring up to our cabin/balcony. Very quiet location as on back of ship with very limited people traffic passing by.  Read entire member review.

Not clean enough. Balcony door very hard to open and close! Size of balcony and room were good. Toilett too close to sink. Still a one person bathroom for a Jr. Suite?  Read entire member review.

If you can afford them, you just gotta have a Junior Suite at the minimum. My wife was delirious with her walk-in wardrobe, (so much so she wants to turn the box-room that adjoins our master bedroom at home in to one!!!). I just loved the bath, (or tub for our American cousins), as there is nothing like a long soak following some of our expeditions!!! The cabin is very spacious, bright and has numerous amenities, including oodles of power-points, (I read in some-else's critic that they could not find their's!). It is bright, nicely decorated and was kept incredibly clean. Our balcony was large as it was in the bulge and had two loungers as well as a table and chairs. As to our Trinidadian cabin steward, Irwin, nothing was too much trouble for a man who still loved working with RCI after EIGHT years, all of which as a cabin attendant!!! He was an absolute delight and well worthy of the commendation we gave him in our cruise survey upon departure. His puppet creations were a delight!!!  Read entire member review.

Fun cruise-not perfect by Cruuuz Dawg
I can't over emphasize how great the Junior suites are on the Freedom class - the walk in closet is bigger than the one in my first house!  Read entire member review.

The cabin was exactly what we expected and a very good size. It is called a Junior Suite but really it is just a larger Balcony cabin as the only benefit of being in this cabin was the speedier boarding as you get no other benefits. As the cabin is wider than a normal balcony cabin you get more space on the balcony and so two chairs, table and two loungers are provided, which was a nice treat. We were located mid ship opposite the stewards room, however we were never disturbed by any noise.

Liberty Idylls by Merion Mom
A hump JS on the Liberty is the ultimate cruise cabin. The walk-in closet is larger than an interior on the Monarch!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9338 - Junior Suite with Balcony. Room was clean and was well maintained throughout the cruise. Three things - one is a wish, the others could be an issue. Issue (?) - the in-room refrigerator did not seem to cool the items down. Did not use this, but if someone needed it for storing medicine, this could be an issue. One day, the dead bolt on the door would not function. We could not lock the door that night. The problem was reported the next morning to someone walking by (not the cabin steward) and they got it fixed immediately. WISH: please put an electric outlet beside the beds. Those of us with CPAP machines need to plug in somewhere. As it stands, carry a 12' extension cord and a power strip so you can plug up the machines.  Read entire member review.

Fantastic cabin. Walkin closet. Nice bathub & shower. Great location as it is close to the elevators & stairs yet quiet and being on the hump increased the size of the room.  Read entire member review.

After our original booking for a Superior Balcony, discovered Royal had a Hot Deal on a JS for the same price! When I called Royal, they were happy to make the switch. Not only was the cabin quite a bit larger, it was wonderful to have a bath tub as opposed the the tiny showers found in other cabins.  Read entire member review.

Junior Suite. We loved it. First time we booked this class. Lots of closet space and good size bathroom. Tub/shower combo made it easy to keep the water off the floor. Will book this again.  Read entire member review.

9350 is just past the bump out. So it is easy to spot from outside the ship. Plus, the entrance to the room, due to it's location, opens up wider as you enter. The walk in closet is to your right and the bathroom to your left. Looking forward from the balcony is interesting as the balconies forward start to veer out, so you can't see straight forward. Every once in a while, the view was unique and slightly disorienting. (Kinda like sitting in your parked car and the car next to you takes off.) It wasn't noisy. It was just enough down the hallway from the elevators to be quiet, but not too far away.  Read entire member review.

Cabin unusually nice - about 3 feet wider than a standard balcony cabin and the balcony itself is also larger than we had seen on most other cruises. There is a walk-in closet and the bathroom even has a tub! This particular cabin is very close to the elevators, which makes it really handy for going down to the theaters. It is, however, at the opposite end of the ship from the dining rooms and the Windjammer buffet. This cabin has a door permitting it to be adjoining to the next cabin, but unfortunately some of the sounds from the next cabin, including their TV and a petulant child crying did come through that door moreso than they would if there was a solid wall there.  Read entire member review.

Juniot Suite 9548: Huge walk-in closet, large and deep balcony, view of jacuzzi aft and bridge forward, close to forward elevators, no noise at all from hallway, wonderful bed, lots of space, sofa and big lounge chair, very quiet cabin.  Read entire member review.

We had a junior suite which was a good size. King bed, couch, easy chair with an ottoman and lots of space between them to move around easily. Lots of dresser space, walk in closet with shelves and storage for our luggage. Nice size bathroom with tub and shower. Clean and fairly quiet. Our balcony was quite big with room for two chaises, two chairs and a small table. Large screen TV  Read entire member review.

Junior Suite with Balcony. Excellent size, walk in closet with shelves and space to hang clothes, room for two large suitcases. Ample floor space and comfortable bathroom. Balcony seated four comfortably. Bed was very large and comfortable. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and short even for a smaller child. This was a non smoking room, (YAY!) but alas, our neighbors smoked on their balcony which made it unusable when they were out. Beautiful seated vanity and plenty of drawers. Four outlets; two American, two European style. We brought our own four plug stick so we could recharge more than one item at a time.  Read entire member review.

We had a Junior Suite on the 9th floor. It had a walk-in closet- which was awesome. The Bathroom was a nice size. Balcany was large and relaxing, it was wonderful to watch the ship pull into the ports and see the entire island from your room. Also, we saw shooting stars and flying fish. Next time I will book a room closer to the elevator.  Read entire member review.

We had a junior suite. It was very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy. The pillows suck. I need to find a way to pack my own pillow. : ) The bathroom was very clean and also roomy. We did miss the small touched like chocolate on the pillows, ice without asking, pens and paper for jotting notes. the balcony was a good size. We were on the 9th deck and heard very little noise from above.  Read entire member review.

Birthday cruise by lareefun
Junior Suite cabins offer plenty of space, in this case the cabin was larger than the hotel room for our pre-cruise stay. The line has walk in closets at this class of cabins and the bathroom has a full size bathtub. The private balcony was large enough for 3 chairs, table and a lounger, plus room to move around. The only complaint was with our neighbors the guy like to smoke his cigars on the balcony. When he was there I had to stay inside with the balcony door tightly closed. He was out there a lot during the cruise.  Read entire member review.
