Small tiny room if you leave the closet door open you cannot go in or out of the bathroom. Furniture is not the right size for the room. Burned out light bulbs in the dresser. IKEA special decor cheap laminate. Nice bathroom.  Read entire member review.

Cabin had lots of storage. Overall, it was nice and well maintained by our cabin steward.

The cabin was clean and comfortable but too small for 4 grown adults. The porthole view was nice. our room steward was very sweet.

As far as the stateroom went, we were pleased. The four of us were slightly cramped in the room when the beds were pulled out, but during the day it was better. One of the things we learned was that we really over-packed, and next time would bring much less. The service staff were wonderful, and one of the kids' favorite things was to return to the room each evening to see what kind of towel animal we had. One night they took my daughter's "spring break journal" and made a giant frog and positioned the journal so that he was "reading" it. Everyday, both in the morning , and then again in the afternoon, the room would be made-up and freshened up, new towels placed in the room. We never had to ask for anything. We enjoyed the attention to detail.

First time on Norwegian by CruiseLadyCR

Our room was AMAZING! I strongly recommend getting a Penthouse with Large Balcony if you can! The room was about the size of a standard hotel room, which for a cruise is very large. The tv was a decent size, there was a bed, a couch & a small table in the corner right by the windows by the balcony. Our balcony was large enough for two chairs, two small tables & two chaise lounges. Loved it! The bathroom was also larger than the previous room we had. It had a full tub & a separate space for the toilet. There was also a vanity outside of the bathroom (blowdryer included) and mirrored closet. The mini bar came stocked as well.

My balcony room was on deck 10 a BB cat. room 10514. The room was small with a big balcony forward. It was in a quiet area.

The cabin is clean and well appointed. Considering it was a 'family balcony' I thought it would be a little bigger. I don't see the difference between it and the 'Mini Suite' Overall, plenty of light during the day and the balcony was a nice size for me and my lady. Beds were very comfortable and never once did I wake up with any aches or pains. It's a decent size for two. Anymore than that and you're pushing it.

We were in Room 10530 … A Balcony on the Port side. Close to the elevators but you could never hear any elevator or stair noise. Would describe the room as just "adequate" in size.. with enough storage for a week's "stuff" if you are creative and organized! It was on the small side with little room for 2 people to maneuver (can't imagine how 4 people even 2 adults with 2 children could possibly stay there. Would have liked more drawers and a night stand on the right side of the bed (have to place things on the couch--be careful things can slip between couch and bed). One closet with attached hangers (we bring cheap plastic ones that we can leave behind as they are easier to maneuver and I always need a few extra) Bathrobes are provided.

The balcony had 2 deck chairs and a very tiny table. We spent a lot of time on the balcony a really enjoyed having it.

The bathroom is another story. VERY small. The shower is adequate but the opening to get into it is barely 18 inches wide. The toilet is placed at an angle making it impossible to sit without your knees touching the sliding door (and I'm only 5'2"!!) That narrow door is also just 18inches. Drying yourself after a shower is impossible with the door closed as there just is no room between the sink and the towel rods on the door. Don't know how anyone who is of a "extra large" frame can easily manage this situation. My husband had a great deal of difficulty with the bathroom and will never book this type of cabin on this ship. The BED…lumpy, too soft…a hard mound in the middle… definitely not something I could have slept on for more than a week! (Have been advised to try a "mini-suite" next time!)

The walls are magnetic and this time I brought a small whiteboard with magnetic backing from the dollar store for messages and some large magnetic clips for the "dailies".

Hair dryer worked well---there are 2 plug areas --one on each counter for charging.

We had a connecting cabin – My husband and I in one and our young adult kids in the other. The door was always open depriving us of the privacy. I was told the supervisor of the Cabin steward will have to open and close for us each time. If I knew this in advance, I would have taken one cabin and saved at least $1500. NCL had the sale 3-8 passenger travel for free.
• Even though we paid for 2 cabins daily new letter and stuff was not there in both cabins everyday.
Cabin felt smaller than a regular cabin

The cabin was overall very small. The activities are boring so you will likely spend more time in your cabin on this ship than you think (unless the weather is nice, then you will sit around the pool for hours). Spend the money on a balcony so you dont want to fly home from the last port instead of being bored to death for days.

Comfortable. Appreciated lounge chair on balcony. Cramped area between bed and closet. Nice tub. Nicely decorated, not as ostentatios as rest of the ship.  Read entire member review.

This Suite is absolutely beautiful, it screams romance and relaxation, plenty of room for your suitcases and clothes. We had plenty of room in the spacious walking closet, there is plenty of room in the drawers as well.
The living room overs plenty of room to sit down and relax by yourself or your company with a beautiful view of the pool deck and sundeck, plus an awesome view of the Ocean when at sea.
The bathroom is like a little spa all on its own, nice soaking tub, separate shower with body spray and rain shower and lets not forget the TV over the tub, nice touch.
Separate sinks and the Toilet is also in a separate area wit a door and it has a Telephone, not sure why, but it's a nice touch.
On your private Deck you have a Hot tub, Lounge Chairs,4 chairs with a table sunbrella and a big lounge sofa all come with nice cushions. The view of the Pool Deck and the Ocean is priceless.
In short to review this suite it is simply amazing and there are only two of these on board on the top of the ship, you will need your keycard to get to Deck 14 and then walk up one flight of stairs to get to your won slice of Haven.
This Suite also gives you access to the Haven Court Yard a nice quite area, if you stay in any of the Haven Suites you really never need to leave that area if you didn't want to, it is a ship within a ship.

Gem May 31- June 7 by glorialagos
we saved a lot of money by booking an inside stateroom - it was all we needed - a place to sleep.  However, for our next cruise we will probably go with a balcony with some more space.  A word of caution - you don't want a room on deck 4 on the Gem - most ports disembark from deck 4 and there are people walking by at all times which can get quite loud at times  Read entire member review.

We had an upgraded room with a balcony, and it was fabulous. The bathroom was way better than any marine head that I had ever used before. It was a full-fledged bathroom just like in a hotel. The water pressure was as good or better than in a hotel, and there was hot water whenever you needed. You could even drink the tap water without worrying about getting sick. You can flush toilet paper in the toilet without it clogging up. There were more electrical outlets than you would ever need, and even one 220 volt outlet, if you have Asian or European appliances. Some guests complained about the quality of channels and movies on the stateroom televisions. This was not a issue for us, since we were plenty entertained with the gorgeous view right on our stateroom balcony. My tip for those in steerage without an outdoor view would be to bring an iPad with movies on it and just use that for your in-room entertainment. $10 a pop for on-demand movies is a little pricey.  Read entire member review.

NCL nice but money-hungry by traveller1499
We had a cabin with a balcony and it was nice, although there was too much clutter for such a small room. We opened up the space by moving most of it outside to the balcony. Great shower!  Read entire member review.

It was okay. by horses.at.home
4500.  Very loud when entering or leaving ports.  It is the first room at the front and had an extra amount of space from the head of the bed to the port hole forming a large platform area.  That of course meant the porthold was something you had to climb to reach.  It was large enough for a all our luggage and probably could accomodate some type of mattress for a child.  Very few people walked past due to the end of the line, but there was some type of room next to us that we occassionally heard noises, presumably from staff.  Twenty wooden hangars in the closet and six drawers between the desk and closet adjacent space.  Nice flatscreen TV, but not much to watch without paying 11.95 for a movie, watching CNN, Fox Noise, or BBC.  Read entire member review.

Smallest cabin we've ever had, but best bed. Location (deck 11 midship) was very convenient, not too noisy. Lots of storage. In-room coffeemaker is fabulous!  Read entire member review.
