Quite a Gem out of NYC by CTJoeCruiser
9020 - Forward, Starboard Everything as expected ... if you are an "average" size person, this balcony room is more than adequate & comfortable for 2 people to enjoy!  Read entire member review.

GEM SHINES BRIGHTLY by sierramyst44
9042 nice location about 5 doors down from elevator. 15 ft seas hardly felt any movement.  Read entire member review.

While a bit smaller than other cabins in the same class, our cabin was well-appointed and suited our needs for the week quite comfortably.  Read entire member review.

Loved our cabin - we had great views of the ports as we pulled in each morning.  Of course it's tiny - but we had everything we needed and for two people it was fine.  Read entire member review.

Crowded and Crazy! by marymorn513
Adequate room for the three of us though we needed the beds separated upon arrival. Little storage for suitcases, typical two-part motel hangers, I brought my own. Tiny fridge but the steward must remove their overpriced things to utilize. Balcony okay with two chairs and a small table. We did string a line for clothes drying as the one in the shower was too small. Best thing about the cabin, to my way of thinking, is the divided bathroom. Central sink/mirror with a sliding door shower to the left and sliding door commode on the right. Nice shower fixture with great water pressure. Brought our own soaps, shampoos etc.  Read entire member review.

Nice location, convenient and easy to find. Less rocking in stormy weather.  Read entire member review.

Rooms are smaller than you may find on many other ships. Small bathrooms. Hallways are not wide enough for side by side strollers. Parents of small children - chose rooms close to elevators!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9122. Nice size, great balcony, vanity, decent bathroom. Very quiet as well, in middle of hallway so not much traffic outside door.  Read entire member review.

Falling Standards by Caroline
Room 9130 has a very noisy drain, which backs up when raining and floods the balcony area. Rooms 9128 and 9126 were far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise.  Read entire member review.

Ample space for two with plenty of storage. Very good bathroom/shower Full width sliding doors to adequate balcony Very comfy bed No noise from pool deck Handy location for forward lifts without being too close  Read entire member review.

Good but Different by cruisesarethebest
We had a balcony cabin with an unobstructed view. It was very small compared to other balcony cabins we have had on the same cruise line (different ships). The bathroom was so small you practically had to be a contortionist to use the toilet. When you got out of the shower you had to open the bathroom door to dry off because there wasn't enough room between the door and the sink to move around.  Read entire member review.

Great location. Quiet and easily accessible to both mid-ship and aft elevators. This made it convenient for every main venue on the ship.  Read entire member review.

The cabin 9088 was a nice location but it seemed that it was noisy just outside the balcony window at night like something was loose and hitting the balcony. Other than that it was a nice cabin for as much little time we spent in it.  Read entire member review.

Small compact cabin...  Read entire member review.

Balcony 10130 is on the starboard side of the ship, aft. Quiet location with cabins above and below. Balcony and room small, but ample storage space for 2 people. Not sure how it would be with 3-4 in the room. Since it is in the back of the ship, it is quite a walk to get to some locations, but hey....what a way to burn extra calories.  Read entire member review.

Small room but quite adequate for 2 people. Bathroom well equipped, balcony excellent with lovely views. LCD TV, coffee machine with coffee and sugar replenished twice a day. Very clean. bed large and very comfortable. Hallways very quiet  Read entire member review.

Cabin 10538 was a perfect cabin for me...the location is exceptional, close to the forward elevators, great views from the balcony. Plenty of storage for folded garments & the closet, and the hanger count, was good as well. Love the bathrooms on NCL & this one was no exception. Loved that it had a full power hairdryer. Next time I book the Gem, I'll definitely book this cabin.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful time on GEM by Angles kisses
Quiet location, spacious closet for 2 people. Do smell smoke if next door neighbor was smoking. If 4 of us in the same room then it is small for 4.  Read entire member review.

I liked the in room coffee pot, bed was comfortable, closet space was adequate, bathroom was small but we'll laid out and workable for 2 people. Sitting on the balcony was great. quiet location close to restaurants. inadequate free programming on the tv.  Read entire member review.

Memorable Ports by Daladycruiser
Our cabin was good and Nicolo was awesome. He was like a little mouse. He would slip in while we were gone and spruce up the cabin and when we came back it was ready for us. We never needed to call upon him for something that he overlooked.  Read entire member review.
