Great balcony, not windy as expected, and comfortable deck furniture Bathroom smaller than ideal  Read entire member review.

Beware the rules to not open the balcony door except when in port and to close the curtain at night. Otherwise beautiful, spacious.  Read entire member review.

Spacious, right at the bow of the ship, huge balcony. Wind is an issue while at sea. Cabin has a balcony door with an additional hatch door that must be closed during the night or when seas are rough. Curtain must be drawn at night, as lights will obstruct the vision of people in the bridge, which is almost directly overhead, while out to sea.  Read entire member review.

AMAZING Gem Staff! by tiskismet
9172 - Handicap accessible penthouse suite cabin with large balcony. Very nice cabin with plenty of room for ourselves and our 9 year old. Lots of storage, accessible bathroom. They brought us a shower chair, but it seemed flimsy - we asked, and they came and installed a more substantial fold down seat immediately. You could not reach the balcony if you had the couch pulled out (like for a child) and you were in a wheelchair. My husband can use crutches, so it wasn't a problem for us. There is a little ramp to get your over the balcony door threshold under the bed, if needed.  Read entire member review.

Great cabin would reserve it again in a heart beat for sure. BIG balcony and big room. Very quiet, great view. Lots and lots of storage space. The only downfall: NCL did specify there was a DVD collection with the suites but failed to say it did not apply anymore....  Read entire member review.

Cabin was reasonably roomy with lots of storage space. The room is located forward with a very large balcony that faces forward. There was room for 2 lounge chairs, a small table, a storage bench and 3 chairs with plenty of room to walk around. The view was great! It was very breezy on the way south when we were moving at 23 knots, but the chairs were out of the wind most of the time. It was really nice on the way north when we were going about 15 knots. There is a bulkhead door that was closed at night but it was easy enough to open and go out on the balcony anytime. Being forward it was a hike all the way down the ship to get to the aft locations, but the forward stairs & elevators were pretty close. We would book this cabin again!  Read entire member review.

we had a large penthouse suite with a huge private deck, it was the best view and so quiet and since it was spring break it was nice to have such a calm quiet space to retreat to :)  Read entire member review.

Penthouse Suite on the front, 9th floor. Spacious, comfy, pampered. Lots of perks (Lavazza coffee machine; butler bearing afternoon hors d'ouvres; breakfast and lunch at Cagney's). Lovely balcony while in port (captain's upstairs, might even wave to you), but while at sea in November, batten down the hatch).  Read entire member review.
