Junior Mini Suite with Balcony and Bath/Shower (CB)
The midships balcony cabin was ideal, selected due to the transatlantic crossing (its more stable mid ships)this worked a treat. The cabin was a good size, the bed really comfortable, though the sheets were not changed daily, but every other day, minor gripe! There is ample storage, the bathroom just about big enough for us, a fridge, TV (an ok selection of programmes) and a balcony we used every day until we hit the Azores. We liked the cabin, it was better that the similar cabin on the NCL Epic, and we have booked the same cabin for next year.
Beware of Cabins on B deck as they don't receive the full sunshine due to a "canopy" above which is the flooring of the balcony above. Also the balcony creates noise if the passengers above are moving furniture etc. At least you aren't overlooked from above as the balcony doesn't jut out. However by paying extra and going for a C deck balcony, these are larger and in direct sunshine, albeit overlooked from the decks above.
Very spacious, with more than enough hanging space/ drawers. Bath as well as shower in a compact bathroom but towels etc changed TWICE daily. The huge bed was sooooooo comfortable and two tv's in the cabin(one in bedroom area)( the other in living room area) Spacious living area with comfy sofa/ fridge/ desk/dressing table and furnished with pictures/ lamps etc A more than adequate balcony with small table and two reclining chairs and completely non restricted views with a glass screen at the front and opague screens between cabins. The balcony was overlooked above us but this never caused us a problem and it meant we got a lot of sunshine . Read entire member review.
Wonderful! The extra space was worth it. When we felt we needed some "us" time away from everyone, we never felt cramped in our cabin. The location amidships was great, too, even though you could hear music from above at night from the balcony, which we didn't use after dark. Don't worry about the overhang from other cabins above you. It isn't a problem. Everyone was respectful of each other's space. There wasn't really any noise from other cabins except when the doors were being shut, which isn't bad, really. We also liked that it was on the starboard side - lots of sun! A perfect cabin.
Nice sized bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, complimentary champagne and chocolates a nice touch. Balcony a good size but chairs and footrests somewhat dirty. Balcony is totally overlooked from above so if you like privacy dont book a D deck cabin. Read entire member review.
Good sized Hanging space for clothes, with separate wardrobe for folded items. Plenty of coat hangers too
Bathroom - fine - a little dated - but had proper sized bath, and excellent power shower. Leave your shower gell at home, as bathroom equipment with full sized "the White Company" shower gel.
Nice comfy Bathrobes
Huge soft Towels and plenty of them
Plenty of Lighting - both overhead and lamps
2 Tv's - but this was a bit of a waste as you could not really have them both on at the same time
Plenty of cups and glasses - Tea/coffee/milk/biscuits replenished everyday
Bed was good sized and comfortable
Sofa bed (for my daughter) was good sized - bigger than a single
Balcony - a little small but fine for 2, 3 of us could sit with a squeeze
Full bottle of champagne and chocs on embarkation
"canapes" once a week - Ryvita with pepperoni - not worth it to be honest
Reasonable sized Fridge
Free Safe in room as well
