Our room in aqua class #1650 11th deck starboard side aft was very nicely appointed with the sofa located next to the balcony. The bathroom was very nice and the shower noticeably larger than the one on Ruby Princess. Gents, if you are waffling on upgrading to aqua class, your ladies will LOVE the shower! The only adverse comment I have to make is noting that unfortunately for us, the crew hallway entrance door was directly across from our stateroom, the slamming of the door was constant. No ship diagram online points this out, there was no way to foresee this. I had spent so much time finding the perfect room (staterooms above and below, down the hall to avoid noise, etc) this was disappointing. Of note, if you are planning Aqua class I advise NOT to book rooms on the 12th deck for 2 reasons. Your view above is obstructed by the cantilevered deck directly above plus there are also public spaces above you. If you don't care and are a heavy sleeper, enjoy Read entire member review. |

Room 6215 was great. We would definitely chose this cabin if we ever went back on the Equinox.
Biggest balcony on the bulk. I think it was the biggest balcony you could get apart from a suite. About 3 times bigger than a normal balcony.
Very quiet and very near the elevators so no time wasted walking in a long corridor to get to your room.
Some cracking noise in the ceiling or walls but nothing that really bothered us. We were only curious to find out what it was : - ) Read entire member review. |

6225 & 6227. we thought this was a great location. mid ship. half way up the deck and half way down!, very short distance to stairwells, elevators. NO NOISE at ALL heard from other guests walking past etc. The Pilot boards the ship directly underneath us when entering leaving Port - so was great for kids to watch. No view obstructions. Cabin 7111 at the front of the ship. During docking and embarkation the bow thruster almost shakes you out of bed. It may, intermittently, go on for some time. You are also near the anchor. Not so good at 4am! Balcony is directly overlooked by the bridge.
Cabin was very good. Read entire member review. |

Executive Balcony Stateroom (8199)Port side fore
The cabin was much bigger than I had expected.
There was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and decent overhead cupboards above the bed to supplement the 5 or 6 small drawers. There were 3 sockets : 2 x European and 1 x USA (or vice versa) and a decent hair dryer.
The 32" television had a very good selection of information and free films but a limited selection of "normal" channels.
The bathroom is well designed and cleverly uses every inch of space. The shower cubicle itself had sliding doors and was big enough in which to bend over without hitting one's head on the wall. The bathroom cabinet had a socket for electric shaver / electric toothbrush. Read entire member review. |

Never seen so many crew members always smiling; and saying hello before on any cruise. If you are taking this ship after Jan 1; 2013; head to the Cellar Masters; the wine bar; and say hello to Ana; she really made the cruise; for friendly and knowledgeable attitude. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9270 (Panorama Deck). Selected this after analysis on CC (great thread!). Very pleased with the choice - well situated midships close to lifts and stairs. No noise from card room. Extra large balcony was excellent. This cabin has pullman bed and sofa bed - we only used the latter as it was comfortable and more convenient. Read entire member review. |

Huge balcony, double as long as the standard balcony. Convenient location near elevators and card room but ver quiet room. Loved having the bed closer to the bathroom and main door rather than the balcony, it felt like we had so much more living space this way. Read entire member review. |

We had cabin 9292. We found it very spacious with plenty of storage room. Plenty of room under the beds for suitacases and storage cupboards above the beds were useful for things you did not need every day. Our balcony was large and the seating very comfortable. Bathroom more than adequate - shower good size and plenty of storage space in the bathroom. Location was mid ship and very close to the elevators. We experienced no noise. Beware the stench on the 9th Deck halls from midship to the aft! If you have a room on this portside, do anything that you can to get it changed before you embark! Read entire member review. |

Balcony was great. We had one of the connecting cabins and did not hear any noise from the cabins next to us. Cabin was a good size. The bathroom was a lot bigger than we have experienced in other ships. Read entire member review. |

I found my cabin on Celebrity Equinox to be extremely quiet--no trouble sleeping. It should be noted, though, that when selecting a cabin, I go over the deck plans very carefully before making a decision. There was more than adequate storage space--look at it this way: if you've filled the closed and every drawer and cabinet, you've brought way too much!!! The veranda was nicely sized and didn't feel cramped--two comfortable chairs and a table are furnished. The bathroom had attractive cabinetry to store personal items and the shower area is the best I've seen yet--no shower curtain but sliding doors! Read entire member review. |

9237 GREAT location, HUGE balcony. In 'the bump' so the cabin was also roomy. Close to the elevators and stairs, but no noise from them. Port side was best for land viewing on this trip. Read entire member review. |
