This cabin was dead aft; concierge class. My husband chose this cabin because he liked to be able to see the view from Port and Starboard. That part was great. And, the bonus was the long walk to the cabin several times a day, when we compensated for the great food!
A typical balcony cabin; we were unable to figure out any other reason to choose concierge class in the future.
The afternoon canapes were uninteresting and not worth eating; the bottle of sparkling wine was flat dreadful and when I tried to get some help from the concierge my call was never returned.
While this didn't, at all, spoil any part of the cruise, it was a lesson learned. We wouldn't spend money for a concierge class cabin again. Read entire member review. |

Great cabin, plenty of storage in the cabin and in the bathroom. Great balcony, totally uninterrupted view. Did not hear a sound from the rooms either side of us. Also read it was noisy because it was just above the theatre - this was not the case at all. Read entire member review. |

I think that I have completely covered this in my ship report. However here is the section on our cabin 6172
There is plenty of space -- we never felt crowded or were aware that there were over 2,800 passengers on board.
Cabin -- door opens OUT into a recess in the corridor!
Overall facilities -- double or twin beds, very small bedside table with two narrow shelves under.- thin chocolate on pillow at night with turn down service
Plenty of room for cases under bed. Above bed storage for bed cushions, extra doona, blanket
Life jackets under bed in a basket
Bible in the top drawer
Lounge -- seats up to 4, small oval table
TV -- flat screen -- can swivel. Interactive with keyboard to book excursions etc.
Safe -- in wardrobe, easy to use and larger than on most ships
Frig -- mini bar -- some heat transfer to side drawers
Next to mini bar frig - Two shallow top drawers (do not store medicines or first aid kit in these as they get quite warm); three deeper drawers below,
Cupboard above frig = in size to two shallow drawers
Marble top "desk" with chair. Drawer under holds interactive keyboard and hair dryer
Powerpoints -- 2 X US flat 2 pin (110), 1 X Europe/Asia round 2 pin (220)
Mirror with light above.
Storage
Wardrobe -- two door -- standard is for 24 hangers -- we had 4 with trouser clips.
Drop down bracket if needed for hanging shirts, tops
Three shelves -- two below safe, one above
Two bathrobes, one umbrella, one Celebrity bag (re-cycled material similar to those used for shopping)
Bathroom
Shower is excellent -- good amount of room with glass sliding doors, not a shower curtain
Foot rest in shower
Large mirror with power point above -- takes both flat and round 2 pin plugs (110/220)
Bath towel, hand towel, washer and bath mat
Double towel rail
Moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner, real soap (not bath gel), tissues, shower cap, cotton balls and cotton buds
Hair dryer -- in desk drawer
No clothes line, however ample room to attach elastic extendable line from hooks in shower over glass screen to towel rail.
Basin -- small if you are doing your washing!
Storage -- 2 tiny drawers (6" X 5") -- probably of little use
Side cabinet with glass door 4 shelves (not very wide but deep enough for a wash bag or makeup bag, wooden cabinet below with three shelves
Dim light in bathroom stays on at night
Balcony
Good size and depth. Two comfortable mesh chairs, round wooden top table, high privacy screens between staterooms, high glass panels.

Staterooms 7231 & 7235
Our cabins (we had two) were situated on Deck 7 on the hump. In comparison to Princess, our cabins could only be described as a step up to the standard balcony cabin we would normally book. Our room had the settee near the bathroom, the bed (very comfortable) by the balcony. The sofa sat opposite a wall-mounted flat-screen TV (with interactive elements to allow you, in theory, to see your bill online, order excursions, view your photos etc). I say in theory as we somehow managed to add the same photo to the basket about 19 times and then couldnt find the delete button. I wouldnt mind, but its wasnt even a photo we particularly liked nor wanted... unless, of course, I knew how to shave about 20lb off my profile with Paintshop Pro! The wardrobe/drawer space was more than adequate with ample hangers provided.
The bathroom was, in contrast to Princess, a real success... if only for the generous size of the shower cubicle and the proper screen (as opposed to a curtain). There was more than enough storage space for your toiletries etc. The only negative here would be the size of towels. A couple of bath sheets definitely wouldnt have gone amiss and we resorted to using the beach towels that were provided instead.
Please note both of our balconies were slightly affected by the infamous X! Approximately a third of each one had a triangular shaped tinted film applied to the glass. I can honestly say this would not deter me from booking these staterooms again. For us it really wasnt a big deal or something to get worked up about. You can see through it and I suppose I would describe it as like looking through a tinted car windscreen. I might feel a bit differently about a stateroom with the entire glass tinted, but as ours was only partially obscured it was fine.
The proximity of our cabin to the bank of lifts was a great bonus and the location itself was very quiet with little or no through traffic other than from those folk in neighbouring staterooms.
That said we had families with young children on either side of our stateroom. Noise travels and we could, most evenings, hear crying through the walls. This led to the conclusion that the partition walls could be better sound proofed. Mind you I got my own back by causing my own disturbance when we finally disembarked at 6am on the 17th. Believe me there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth... such was my reluctance to get off the ship. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 7244, category 2A, mid-ship, well laid out, bed near bathroom, ample storage space, quiet, close to elevators. Balcony overlooks life boats, but otherwise view is unobscured. Read entire member review. |

Wall mounted flat screen TV projects too much sound into adjacent cabin! We were on the "Bump" at midship. I recommend others choose elsewhere, as there is too much wind to use the balcony at cruising speed, along with the noise from the wind passing around the partitions. Read entire member review. |

We found our cabin and balcony to be excellent ---only distraction is we could here the band way down on the third deck atrium too late into the night.
More than enough storage space, the bed very comfortable --balcony a good size,
bathroom great, with roomy shower - and folding doors instead of a curtain.
TV system very helpful and clear. Read entire member review. |

We had an oceanview balcony on deck 9, room 9284. It had ample space for your clothes but they could give you some more hangers. The bathroom and shower for fine. We were on the hump and right in the middle of the ship and very close to the center elevators which was very convenient. Not noisy at all and was a great location. We were on the starboard side. I think either side would have been OK. Read entire member review. |

Balcony cabin forward on deck 7. Nice size and very quiet location. Closet ample for 7 days but could've been larger for a longer cruise. Balcony adequate with table large enough to have breakfast on. Full size leather sofa and coffee table nice almost comparable to mini suites on other ships. Read entire member review. |
