Cabin 1676 is aft. The bed is closer to the bathroomthe first time we've had this arrangement, but honestly made no difference to us. This is the smallest aft deck that we've ever had, but our past cruise history is mainly RC. There is somewhat of a soot issue, but not enough that I felt I needed to complain about itthey rinsed the decks off daily. It's enough of an issue that they've placed a door mat just inside of the sliding doors to protect the cabin carpet. But, I would still choose this cabin again, soot & all, over a side cabin.
The closets and drawers were completely adequate for our needs. The bath was lovely, including the sink! My husband used an electric shaver and never complained about the sink. For the ladies, I found washing my face to be easier than ever with this sink and fixtures. A small recommendation for future guests...in the closet, they provide you with many wooden hangers in the closetif you don't use all of them, take the empty ones down and store them somewhere (floor, under bed, where ever!)the hangers rattle all night as the ship rolls. You'll have a much quieter night if you do this right away! Read entire member review. |

Our stateroom was very conveniently located near the elevators mid-ship. Excellent bathroom, perfect shower. The dim light always on in the bathroom served very well during the night. Plenty of space to stow clothing and belongings. Bed was excellent though we pulled the covers off except for a single sheet and then put a blanket over that and slept cooler. TV very good though you have to watch what button you press on the remote. Another one of our group suddenly found that she had ordered $900 in photos and had to go down and get it wiped from her bill. Ship's location on the TV a bit goofy at times. Stateroom was slanted inward, so the balcony was big, but it did catch a lot of wind being so situated. Would like a speaker in the stateroom which picked up shipboard announcements and comments from the captain. Read entire member review. |

Room has average square footage, but the balcony was spacious. Good size bathroom, not cramped. Sound proof room, couldn't here the loud party music in a common area below once you enter the room. Read entire member review. |

Great location, on the hump of the ship, not overlooked at all and not obscured by the 'X' across the side of the ship.
Perfect for privacy for those quiet sunbathing moments, and perfect for access to stairs and elevators...I would happily stay in this cabin again.
Plenty of storage space, but no shower gel so take your own (but you do get shampoo provided) ! Read entire member review. |

Small room, small closet, nice shower with hard clamshell doors. Huge balcony. Nice table and chairs (adjustable). Near midship elevators, but no noise. View foreward obstructed by "hump". Overlooks lifeboats, but they don't obstruct the view. No wind problems. Night light in bath. Read entire member review. |

7260: We loved our balcony, which is on the hump facing forward. We also loved being so close to the elevators on a relatively quiet floor. Read entire member review. |

8160: great cabin and location, very close to the elevators and very, very quiet! The bed was comfortable. The closet is big enough,a bit close to the couch, but no problem to access. We liked the extra storage above the bed. The bathroom was quite spacious. We LOVED the balcony... extra roomy! Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8226 - few steps from the elevator but absolutely no noise whatsoever froms the elevators due to glass sliding doors. Loved the convenience of being so close to the elevators. Our cabin had the sofa by the balcony doors and it was nice to sit and relax on the days it was too windy to be outside. Our balcony was huge due to being on the angle looking forward. We loved that we could see the bridge. Storage was ample and we loved that there is a night light in the bathroom. There could have been more insulation between cabins but most passengers were quiet and mindful not to disturb others. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin 8228 was in the perfect location! Close the main elevator bank, no noise at all from either room on each side, or from the hall, above or below us. Lots of storage space too! Larger balcony than most! Hop on the main elevators to be brought directly to the Oceanview Cafe, the main dining room, and the pool! Great location and we'd book that room again! 8228 - right near the lift in mid ship. Great place to be. No noise at all from people coming and going from the lift. Great to be centre of the ship. Stateroom itself was compact but perfect. This stateroom has uninterrupted views out to see and not overlooked. To sit out and watch the world go by is just perfect. A balcony is a must have. 8228 is port side so great views when sailing into destinations. Would recommend this stateroom but did not see other staterooms so cannot compare. Our stateroom was lovely we had an extra large balcony thanks to cruise critic research we had done and we were first off the midsection hump going forward. We worried that the deeper balcony might make the room dark but it didn't and was great having a larger balcony we only wish we had taken a hammick. The location was ideal as we were close to the elevators but far enough away to have no noise from them or the atrium. The room was well laid out with clever storage ideas and we liked the glass shower doors. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8232 and 8234. Loved how we could combine the 2 cabins with the outside hall divider - GREAT idea. Overall layout and cabin is wonderful. Only downside was the Pillows - VERY disappointed in the small pillows and hardly any stuffing/filler. Read entire member review. |

I've selected the 1A balcony at cabin 8253. It was at the hump with forward view. I love the oversized balcony. It's 8' wide by 10' deep on the shorter side, and 13' deep on the longer side. It's way bigger than any other balcony cabins I've had. Again comparing to the Grand Priness, I had a mini-suite but the balcony is not as big as the Solstice.
The cabin was very good sized and efficient layout. The sofa served as a wonderful bench for my 72 yr old mom to lay her suitcase. I guess most senior like to pack and unpack their luggages everyday like my mom. So we just leave it on the sofa and she can sit on the rest of the sofa and pack her stuff everyday.
The washroom was very modern and clean. Love the arched shower + doors. Lots of shelves and drawers for storage. The tray on the vanity was very useful to lay all my bottles & makeups. Nice touch.
The only small complaint about this cabin is the adjorning staff locker adjacent to the washroom. The locker door opens on the other side (close to 8255) but everyday we can hear the opening and closing of that door. The noise was so loud that we sometimes thought someone has opened our cabin door. Also we had multiple problems with our door key/lock. We complained to the guest relations multiple times, they fixed it but when we return to the cabin, the key doesn't work. After a while, we stop fixing it. Just ask the room steward to opening it for us. They're around all the time like phantoms!

Cabin 8258. We had a port side balcony, mid ship in the area where the ship bends where the X for celebrity is. It was a great location with ample space for everything a great shower with glass doors, and an oversized balcony. This was our best cabin ever and the biggest balcony also. Close to the central elevators but not too close Read entire member review. |

7262- smaller balcony than adjacent staterooms 7260 and 7264.
All walls on ship are a bit thin- not well insulated. Cabin was a bit hot. Have to keep turning air up.
Don't flip Master Switch off or you won't be able to turn on ANY lights including in the bathroom. Glad I learned that one Day One.
