11002 & 11004--adjacent, not connected. We were right next to officers' entrance to bridge, but no excessive noise. Nice location--quick hop up to fitness, spa, pool areas. Spacious balcony, plenty of room for 3.  Read entire member review.

Great cabin, full tub, couch was a sofa bed and extremely hard to sit on....it also was broken....the ship is due for a refurbishment in June 2011  Read entire member review.

The cabin I had, 11010, as well as the cabin in Hawaii need to be updated. Carpet, bedding, and upholstery were pretty worn and the pillows were like rocks.
It was a quiet location, spacious, with plenty of storage.

11016- mini suite. Good location forward and close to elevator bank. No issues from above or below.  Read entire member review.

11020- standard mini suite with balcony. Across the hall from a crew dishwashing or laundry station that occassionally had loud noises and doors slamming. No noise from above (lifestyle room is above) or below. Close to elevators.  Read entire member review.

Great location, no noise, plenty of storage space, would prefer the walk-in shower over the tub  Read entire member review.

NCL Pearl stateroom 11022 Starboard forward. Mini suite with balcony. Plenty of drawers and closet space. Several other little shelves and spaces to store stuff. Safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, robes, soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. This stateroom has a tub with a removable shower head so you don't have to get your hair wet if you choose. The closet has a hidden light and a drop down shelf. You'll find life jackets on the upper shelf. The balcony has two deck chairs and a small table perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Jerry the room attendant is very knowledgeable about everything on the ship. Don't hesitate asking him anything. NCL is lucky to have him. He'll also bring you softer pillows if that is your preference. The room is located just below the Card Room and it's quiet. Don't be worried about noise. There's a little wear on carpets on furniture, but it's all clean so no complaints here.  Read entire member review.

The mini-suite with balcony was very spacious. Being on deck 11, we could feel side to side swaying with the swell at sea, but not enough to make me seasick. We found the sofa to be very uncomfortable and hard. The cushion kept sliding off the sofa-bed. The bathroom was very nice. The shower-tub combination was large. The closet was very spacious and allowed enough room for all of our jackets and clothes. The bed was large and very comfortable. The TV was too small for the cabin. A larger screen TV would be more appropriate, even though there wasn't much to watch anyway. We mainly watched the movies and the live webcam channels. The balcony was a good size for the deck chairs. A larger table outside would have been preferred.

Closet great size - plenty of hangers. Great drawer space. View was great. It was a mini-suite; however, it was pretty cramped for a mini-suite. I had 3 adults (me, 20 yo, 19 yo) + 15 yo. Kids are tall. I might upgrade next time. Not super convenient for getting to/from staircases.

Cabin 11104, some scraping noise from movement of furniture on decks above. Otherwise nice and quiet during day.  Read entire member review.

The aft facing Mini suites are great. Not to small. Plenty of storage. A balconey is key to really getting the most out of the Alaskan scenery. Very confortable beds.  Read entire member review.

Great Bathroom, Comfy main bed but creaky Sofa bed. Less expensive than mid ship mini-suite but almost mid-ship. Close to garden buffet but furthur away from showtime theater.  Read entire member review.

Great location near stairs/elevator.  Didn't hear much noise at all from hallway.  Heard very little from above or next door.   Read entire member review.

Right on top of the elevators, but you would NEVER know it! Totally quiet til we opened the door. And I mean right on top of the elevators... take a look at the deck plan. Deck 11, starboard side, by aft elevators.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was very nice. Good layout--nice to have the toilet to have the door shut--so I could go without stinking out my wife while she was fixing her hair. They allowed us to have our balcony door opened to the balcony of the other couple we were traveling with which was very nice. The room (11128) was right below one of the food areas and we heard every night a worker's shoes clomping around. But it never was too late and we didn't hear it too early--so it never kept us awake. We loved being right below the buffet in the morning--walk one flight up and we were there. And it wasn't too bad of a walk to go to dinner just a couple of flights down. We were close to the elevators but didn't hear any noise from them and funny thing is we didn't use them because of the perfect location.  Read entire member review.

Parents Beware by minisuitemama
Loved the room; the minisuites are the way to travel; clean, great balcony, and the curtain that divided the cabin gave the feeling of privacy.  Read entire member review.

Large balcony, close to buffet and elevators, some footsteps heard from above at bedtime but not bad, otherwise well soundproofed, plenty of storage for 4, comfy beds, great bathroom, nice decor.  Read entire member review.

cagin was good. The balcony was awesome to have especially in Glacier bay. We had no problems and the storage was tight, but enough.  Read entire member review.

A Happy Ship by Normandie84
#11500. Great spot, all the way forward (but only if you LIKE feeling the motion of the ship). Also right next to the bridge viewing room (which if you're into ships & navigation you'll love). The mini suite itself is very spacious, plenty of closet space, and a great balcony. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the curtain dividing the sitting area from the bed is a smart addition.  Read entire member review.

Poor Customer Service by mwheaton63
Too near the front of the ship. When making speed at night the front of the ship porpoises and makes for a really fitful night's sleep.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was nice and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Loved the fact that the drapes really had great darkening effect on room. Had a mini suite and was very pleased with it. Had a very nice sized bathroom with shower and tub for a ship.  Read entire member review.

Mini Suite, deck 11, port side, room 11508. Great room, Quiet. Close to the elevator. Great view. Room size was fine. For two people it felt large. Not sure with four people.  Read entire member review.

Tons of closet and storage space, great bathroom - light years better than our hotel in Miami! Balcony was wonderful. Great view. Very close to the front of the ship, which was close to the pool, and made us walk a little further to all that food - a good thing!  Read entire member review.

We had booked the mini-suite with balcony on the port side. The suite was very nice. We had ample storage space. The bathroom was a decent size too. The balcony was large with about a 4-foot high railing. I was worried about safety for my curious five year old but I thought the balcony was safe and the door to the balcony takes some effort to slide open. The suite had a queen-sized bed with a convertible sofa. There was also a curtain partition between the bed and sitting area for privacy. We had read some reviews about noise in the cabin from the deck above. We did not experience any of that. I think our suite was below one of the less trafficked areas. We met a family who was in 11572 and 11574 and they told us that they were below the kids club and they heard thumping noises all day. I think it is very important if you book on deck 11 to make sure that you are not below one of the highly trafficked areas.  Read entire member review.

Careful where you book. Cabins Deck 11, 608-616 are extremely noisy from 3AM on. Facilities are fine, especially the balconies which we opened to connect. Beds are superior.  Read entire member review.

Our mini-suite was 11624 - on deck 11 which is the highest deck with passenger cabins (unless you splurge for a Garden Villa or Courtyard Villa on deck 14). The mini-suite cabin is large.  The bathroom was spacious with a separate toilet enclosure, a sink and a full-size bathtub. There is a large queen bed with 4 pillows.  The extra pillows are nice. There was also a sofa, plenty of drawers and closet space and a small balcony.  The balcony includes a very small table and 2 chairs.   Read entire member review.

Great location. Easy access to the buffet for breakfast or just a morning latte. Low traffic area since it's just beyond the aft elevator lobby. No noticable noise from the restaurant above. Fun to go out on the balcony and watch the Pilot jump on and off the ship when entering and leaving the port!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 11628 and 11630 port side aft cabins. Good size, great view easy access to elevators. Only one floor below garden cafe, kids club, pool.  Read entire member review.

We found this to be a great location, just steps from the aft elevators/stairway. It was just below La Cucina but we never heard any noise at all. The size is quite good and the larger bathroom in the mini-suite is a major plus.  Read entire member review.

Large bathroom - separate area for toilet. Bathtub/shower with door. The couch was hard and I think it would be uncomfortable to sleep on. The bed was great! Good sized closet, lots of drawers. Plenty of room under the bed for suitcases. The balcony was a good size and comfortable for two. Very little noise at night. We could hear the sports court above sometimes during the day. Very far aft, so alot of walking. We could definitely feel the motion being on the 11Th deck, but didn't hear any docking noises at all.  Read entire member review.

Mini-suite Deck 11 Aft. A balcony stateroom would have been too small for two people - the mini-suite was perfect. Great bathroom, lots of storage in the closet and many drawers. Cabin was always quiet. We did occasionally hear passengers outside on Deck 12 above us. We were close to the aft elevators and just one deck down from the Garden Cafe (buffet) so meals were convenient.  Read entire member review.

NCL Pearl by rest and relaxation
We had two adjoining mini suites, very functional and lots of storage. Only in our rooms to sleep so size of room made no difference to us.  Read entire member review.

Cigarette and cigar smoke wafting in was very unpleasant. Perhaps NCL would consider segregating smokers to avoid exposing those who don't smoke to the fumes. Cabin was very comfortable, otherwise. Well designed and livable. Only other comment is to allow people traveling together in adjoining rooms to open the partitions that separate the balconies. Thank you for a wonderful cruising experience.  Read entire member review.
