I had one of the value cabins. You don't spend much time in your room anyway, right? The only time my room saw me was between 1am and 8am, and that's 7 hours of sleeping.  Read entire member review.

Pearl Was Fantastic! by Hvnfuninmn33
Cabin 5604 - Guessing it is next to or below the dishwashers?? Could definitely make out the swishing noise and lots of clanking, etc at night. Nothing that kept me up but could be annoying for some. Loved the picture window. Plenty of storage space.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was small but we did not have high expectations as we only booked a week before traveling. It was an inside state room.room 10633.  It had a very comfortable bed, extremley clean everyday.  Great shower and powerful hairdryer. expensive mini bar...   loved the towel animals every night when we had turn down service. we were at the back of the boat so in the morning it was a little nosiey but it was not a problem. We can not complain but have had nothing to compare.  we were happy  with it though.  Read entire member review.
9113 & 5010
We had booked an inside cabin (9113), and this cabin was much smaller than the inside cabins on our last cruise (the Celebrity Eclipse), probably about 2/3 the size! Though the size didn't bother me, I was bothered by the fact that it seemed our cabin steward Ryan had very hurriedly "cleaned" our cabin between sailings. I put cleaned in parenthesis because I am almost convinced he did *nothing* besides tidy up the sheets and change the towels between sailings: (1) We found pills, pins, and papers on the floor; (2) We found what seemed to be dirty sheets stuffed into the closet and shelves; (3) We found melted ice in the ice bucket; and (4) The toilet paper cover was broken and on the floor. Worst of all, after a long first day we came back to go to sleep past midnight and found hairs in our bed that were clearly not ours since we hadn't slept in the bed yet or even opened the covers, and rips and stains in the sheets. And the icing on the cake, somehow our door handle kept on jamming and we couldn't even leave the cabin (which is a HUGE safety hazard). Of course, we were very upset and we had a new cabin steward change the sheets, which took almost half an hour late at night. Definitely not how you want to start your first night of the cruise! The good news, GSR Jatin Vyas followed up with us the next day as per my request, and was able to move us to an Ocean View on the 5th floor for the inconvenience. That cabin was wonderful, and a bit more spacious. Our cabin steward Edwin for 5010 did a great job!  Read entire member review.

Tiny, but adequate. No problems.  Read entire member review.

We were mid ship on deck nine. It was a tiny closet, but efficient use of space and reminded me of Japan. Everything had a place, and space was well utilized. It was very quiet, and in a good location.  Read entire member review.

big disappointment by compayre
The cabin was not the cabin we wanted, a suite is not worth the extra money, the bathtub is ridiculously small, I am a tiny 5 foot lady, 95 pounds and I had trouble laying in the tub. Room service breakfast was only continental no warm items, although the coffee was excellent. The table on the balcony could barely hold a glass of water very small. The heat in this cabin kept not working. The closet was right by the bed, very hard to open doors without hitting the bed. The t.v. was so small we had to sit right in front of it to see the picture. The couch was very hard. The chairs were very uncomfortable they look liked chairs out of the 50's. My conclusion is suites are not any better than just a regular cabin with a balcony, certainly not worth paying double for.  Read entire member review.

Well laid out.  Nice closet space and drawer space.  Bathroom had a great shower with sliding doors!  We were on the 10th floor in a regular inside cabin.  Wonderful colors with lots of wood.  Made you feel like you were on a ship!  Read entire member review.

More than freestylin! by ships in the night
We had an inside cabin because it would cost $300 to get a window. I was being frugal, and it was fine to not have a window going to Alaska. It really was. It took me some adjustment not to have any outside light, but it was kinda like the northern lights. :) Also, my husband would turn on channel 21 (I think) and there would be the bow of the ship and what we would be seeing had we been in the control room...then he would say, "Oh, good morning, let's open the window..." It really is what you make it! On another cruise I will have a window and perhaps a balcony...depending on the destination. There are plenty of lights to turn on, and it was a great room. We did not have much need for many electrical outlets, so did not see any need to bring an outlet source, as was suggested. Families would probably need this. As far as the ammenities...storage is spacious. We had the beds put together and next time we won't...more room to move around. It was always clean and well appointed. The shampoo and soap are in pump dispensers which I totally agree with - for economy and environmental reasons. (I bring my own.) They have small bottles of lotion, which I use when I use so much hand sanitizer...I just asked for more when I ran out. Plenty of big, thirsty towels, always refreshed. Ice in the bucket every day! We did not ask to have the ref. emptied, but just moved the things to the shelf above, and put our own stuff in it. We did not notice any noise or disturbances of any kind...we were in the middle of the tenth deck. The shower may seem small, but after spending three weeks in Europe, it was fine! We had experienced smaller ones, and less convenient! The nozzle moves up and down and the temp control is easy to figure out. There is room to move away from the water as you do this. They also have a "laundry line" that is in the shower that you can pull out for overnight washing of your handwashables or swimsuits. I also loved that I can control the room temp. I like it cool/cold and it was easy to adjust and keep it lower in temp. We also had excellent service and even though we are charged for tipping, I gave them an extra tip. They made everything tip-top in our room, and it was my decision. A little extra for a job well done!  Read entire member review.

Mini suite was very nice. Slightly bigger than the balcony rooms, no other perks though. Suite 11632 was close to the grand cafe, kids loved that.  Read entire member review.

11024/11030/11530/. All these are penthouse suites. If you can afford the extra fare, these are exceptional. Roomy, light and the concierge service can be helpful when extra services are needed, even if it's only preferred boarding on tenders and expedited embarkation and disembarkation.  Read entire member review.

Bad to Good by Bohnsman
I thought our cabin was very spacious and a lot of storage room. There was plenty of walking space. We had an oceanview room which is great to use as a way to wake up-waking up with the sun. The rooms are colorful and vibrant. There are a lot of shelves and drawers. Abundance of storage room. The vanity was nice. The bathroom was nice as well, I liked the seperate door for the toilet area. That way more than one person could be in the bathroom if need be. The shower at first was confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it works great.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9644. Great location. Very quiet, small but enough room.  Read entire member review.

Cabin furniture was rusty. The size of the cabin was smaller than other ships. The layout of the bathroom was nice. The cabin steward was less than personable and had a clear language issue when communicating with us.  Read entire member review.

Our inside cabin was roomier than I expected as was the bathroom. We kept our luggage stored under our beds. Bring an extension cord.  Read entire member review.

Mini suite with a lot of dust on the tv and the cabinets; additional linen under the sofa was not clean; stinky and old linen. Otherwise room was great!  Read entire member review.

Cabin, not well laid out could never sit in there and have dinner, could not walk down the side of the double bed, There was a bunk folded up over the bed and one would think they would remove when it wasn't in use, Shower was a good size but the running water noises from next door was terrible. They did not want to give us room service( always messed up) and with the limited seating at breakfast one would think they would be happy to have less people up there.  Read entire member review.

Norwegian Pearl by edspot
My favorite place was the balcony, which was spacious, private and had two decent chairs and a table. I liked that we had a nice curtain between the bed and pull-out. The bed was better than ANY I've encountered in any hotel. It made the trip so much more enjoyable. Bathroom was more efficiently laid-out than the NCL SUN's and had plenty of space for three people's stuff. The closet was a bit cumbersome next to the bed, and required some juggling. We thought a better floor plan would have been to "flip" the room, with the bed closer to the balcony side and the couch/desk toward the door, but we didn't spend a lot of time fretting about it. We liked the design and felt that the room had nice, upgraded materials compared to the older NCL SUN we were on in '04. The cabin attendant was, in a word, SUPERB. We NEVER had to wait for anything. She even brought us a vase for the flowers we bought at Pike Place Market to have in our cabin during the week.  Read entire member review.
