E707 on the Emerald Princess is referred to as a partially obstructed and sometimes fully obstructed cabin. There actually is quite a decent view outside the cabin window, as the box that houses the inflattable life rafts sits between E705 and E707. The cabins with the full life boats in front of them are actually more obstructed than E705 and E707. I always check the deck plan and get a cabin that is at the front or back of a lifeboat so I have a view of the water. The view on this cabin was great, lots of water view and the life boat is low so it doesnt block much of the view as you look over it. Plaza 204 - Oceanview -- It's a little window -- not a picture window. Room is small. We were on the 5th floor. It's a small room - unobstructed -- but in the bottom of the ship! For the same amount of money we could have a bigger window on another cruise line. This was not much bigger than a Porthole! Didn't get what we thought we were getting. It's a big jump in price from this room to a balcony ($200 a person more) as this ship caters to balcony rooms.  Read entire member review.
