Great wheelchair accessible cabin with balcony, near the forward elevators.  Read entire member review.
Princess balcony cabins are small, but wonderfully fitted, with everything you need. I would recommend paying the extra for a balcony, as it gives you more space. It also allows you to easily watch docking in your night attire and admire the views, especially if you are taking photographs.  Read entire member review.
Small for more than 2 guests. More hangers needed, requested mattress pads ahead of time were not on when arrived, or were the robes, had to ask for them.Hard to cold water out of the tap most of the time. Frige way too small, especially for 10 day cruises or longer.Loved the fact no more smoking on balcony's  Read entire member review.
Aloha 530- mid ship. Quiet location, yet close to stairs. Two decks down from pool and buffet. A hike from the lower dining decks and entertainment, but great location. Flat screen TV's are great.  Read entire member review.
Great balcony, quiet location, close to stairs, central location, excellent view at ports of call.  Read entire member review.
Our cabin, Aloha (deck 12) 635, was directly across from a crew service door. If there was luggage or a meal to be delivered to any Aloha midships or aft cabin, it came through that service door. Nevertheless, we were only aware of that when luggage was being transported. Since we embarked early (noon-ish) and spent that afternoon exploring the ship, we really only noticed activity through the service door on the night before disembarkation, when they were trying to get most of the luggage down to the holds. So, don't be afraid of any cabin in close proximity to a service area. There is ALWAYS a vibration aft of midships...on any ship. The engines are between midship and the stern; even up as high as we were you're likely to feel that vibration, especially when the ship is moving fast. However, if you don't lean on hard surfaces (the headboard, e.g.) you probably won't notice it. We have sailed further aft on other ships, where you couldn't escape the vibration. On EP, I only really noticed it once. Pitch was almost non-existent; roll was occasional and depended upon sea conditions and our speed. Our cabin steward, Nonato, was perfection. While very small, our cabin was adequate and the storage space was excellent. The beds on Princess suck, to be honest. Request an egg crate topper as soon as you board, and don't expect too much even then. I liked that the bathroom had real tile on the floor, and that everything worked. Yes, the shower is MINISCULE! Do NOT drop the soap! LOL But it works, and we'd much prefer the tiny shower and smaller balcony of this standard balcony stateroom to the suites and mini-suites below us, which afford passengers no provacy whatsoever when they're outside. I like that the cabin doors are recessed from the corridors; I think that contributes to the quiet we experienced. I also like that the balcony door is a slider, which let us keep it open at night.  Read entire member review.
A 640 - balcony. Closet great, extra chair for sitting took too much space, desk not needed would prefer a dresser. Hairdryer is worthless! Bring your own. Ship being updated in dry dock, decor is out of date but fine. Shower is tiny!  Read entire member review.
Balcony cabin on Aloha Deck (12) Bright, clean and airy. Good sound insulation and plenty of storage space for your clothes and suitcases  Read entire member review.
If you are a smoker, you will love this cabin. If not, bring a gas mask because it is unbearable!!!  Read entire member review.
Tiny bathroom/shower. I'm 6'4" and could fit but I had to slouch and duck my head... this was a balcony room. The panels on the room were loose... the beds were HORRIBLE... very hard, even with two "egg crates" ... having non HD TV was painful too. Not a good value overall.  Read entire member review.
Not a bad location even though far forward.  Read entire member review.
Caribe 255 - loved the added balcony area on caribe deck..... closet too small, bed very comfortable. Nice new flat screen tv's....overall a great room  Read entire member review.
Great balcony (as are all on Caribe deck) that is much larger than balconies on other decks. Very close to laundromat, which we found convenient on wash day. We didn't notice any noise from the laundromat's proximity.  Read entire member review.

Cabin C504 was in a good location with a somewhat large balcony. Nice size closet and the room has a pull down bed to accommodate a third person but the room is too small for three people. Tiny, tiny bathroom. Good luck if the soap falls in the shower, you have to actually get out of the shower to pick it up. The room we had on the Costa Pacifica was much larger and it had a balcony.

Caribe deck has 30& larger balconies but they are overlooked from above and you overllook deck 9 below. This cabin is mid-ships and has a lauderette with irons and spray bottles provided a few steps aft.  Read entire member review.

great closet, large balcony, quiet room  Read entire member review.
L243: Starboard side on Pool Deck. Quiet with very little traffic yet close to elevators for easy access to lower decks. Good access to Pool area and Lido Buffet all on Lido Deck. Large closet and ample storage space but showers are smaller than average with a curtain instead of a door.  Read entire member review.

Small but adequate. Very small shower. Large walk-in closet and storage area. Close to elevators--some elevator noise.

Our cabin was great. Good location, quiet, near the laundry, elevator and stairs. We spent very little time in our cabin so did not mind that it was quite small. We did enjoy our great balcony especially the views when arriving or departing from port.  Read entire member review.
The mattresses are firm, which is great but they need a softer padding on the top. The egg crate foam is not sufficient. As a female with a curvier shape my hips and shoulders were sore and stiff in the morning because there was no give, in the present mattresses.  Read entire member review.
Great closet, tiny balcony, noisy hallways, great steward!  Read entire member review.
Cabin was a decent size, closet area a really good size, good shelves and drawers available. Balcony was very large with room for four chairs and table. Walls on either size or roof over half of it provided a really good private area. Our cabin was in a quiet location and we couldn't hear our neighbours. It was relatively easy and simple to get to any area of the ship and the elevators were always a short distance away.  Read entire member review.
Cabin R-210. Size adequate. Shower is tight, but workable. Nice balcony...had overhang so people above can't see onto your balcony. Balconies on levels below were quite open and, therefore, not very private. The bed was a good size and my wife and I did not feel at all cramped--and we are full-size adults. Nice new flat screen TV in cabin, mounted on wall so as not to take up valuable counter area. Nice clothes hanging area as well as a doored-cabinet with shelves and a room safe. Also, our luggage fit under the bed which aided our overall storage needs. Only negative is that this cabin is very far forward and there were some bumpy seas. A cabin more mid-ships or aft may handle the waves better.  Read entire member review.
Quiet, loved the balcony, good location, no problems with ship movement, liked being up high.  Read entire member review.
Lazy Bones by BosoxI
Adequate bathroom (though a large person would have trouble with the shower) and closet. Balcony was fine for 2 but it lacked privacy as it was near the flying bridge. Not a problem if you keep your clothes on! Quiet .  Read entire member review.

Love cruising! by mmsoko
Convenient location, smaller than last BC we occupied, small balcony, quiet location.  Read entire member review.
Convenient to the Terrace pool for adults, and the Horizon Court & Caribe cafe; located just below Caribe Cafe but no noise. Some vibration from motors could be felt while in bed. Long walk to front of ship for the theater & disembarking at the ports. Great balcony, lots of space for clothes, luggage.  Read entire member review.
Another good cruise! by chatty_cathy
R742: Right below the Cafe Caribe, so noisy. Towards back of ship, so lots of motion. The balcony right next to this one is at an angle, so you were seeing these people on their balcony all the time....took away from the privacy of it.  Read entire member review.
This was a balcony that had an adjacent room which had an angled balcony next to it. I knew this but there was a mix up due to Vacations to Go screwing me out of the room I originally chose (R739) so we occasionally met a nice elderly gentleman at the bar and chatted. It wasn't too bad, but hearing his wife nagging him all week was kind of sad. But the cool thing about this location is we could walk a few steps down the hall and be out at the terrace pool and walk up a few flights to get to everything at the stern, without using the elevators. Loved the location! Not noisy at all... quiet location. We did get a $200 credit from VTG for the screw up, and I say, it was worth it!  Read entire member review.
Our cabin on Emerald Princess was B205. We loved having a balcony that you could sit out on and see what was happening. Having the option of an open door for sleeping some nights was enjoyable too. It was one of the cabins close to the front of the ship which meant there was a lot of walking to and fro. This we did not mind because it also was a quiet spot on the ship. The bed was comfortable with 2 pillows and a foam mattress under the bed if needed. I brought extra wire hangers which I did use but they provided a good number of wooden ones as well. The wake up call system on the phone is reliable but it is nice to have a clock. A battery operated candle for the bathroom at night works well.  Read entire member review.
