Balcony Mini-Suite Stateroom 611, Emerald Princess -- nice size, didn't feel confined. Lots of storage space (even under the bed), closet was big with lots of hangers, good size bathroom with tub. Balcony okay, except we were on deck 9 so people on balcony above us could see us. Read entire member review.
We had a mini-suite (AA) on Dolphin, mid-ship. Loved it!
The balcony is not covered and there is little privacy from above.
The room has plenty of space for two and the enlarged shower (in a tub) is wonderful. Read entire member review.
We were in D406, a mini-suite mid ship, port side. As stated earlier, the room was a bit narrow for it's length, but we had plenty of room. Storage was good. No sounds from neighbors. The balcony was nice, open with 4 chairs and a table. A bit tight with all the furniture. I liked the rubber flooring on the balcony. It prevented the sound of scraping chairs. it would have been nice to have a magnifying mirror at the desk area. Most of us 50+ folks can't see. I would get this category again. Our cabin was on the Dolphin deck, D416, Cat. AA. Very nice and spacious and highly recommend this category. Nice sitting area, with 8 ft. couch and two TVs, one facing the sitting area, and one facing the queen bed. Very cozy. Mini bar, stocked. Anything in mini bar was free, except if you wanted to restock it, then you paid a nominal fee. Had water, sodas, beer, hard alcohol little bottles. Upgrade towels and pillows. Bath tub/shower. Large closet space as well, with plenty of shelf space. Safe in shelves. Four chairs on balcony. Only bad thing was the balcony is positioned out from side of ship. So all the other decks above us, could see our balcony and us if we were out. Nice for socializing but not very private. Our cabin Steward was very attentive. We hardly saw him, but he was very efficient. Read entire member review.
Dolphin 424 is located just off the midship elevators. Despite its location, the cabin was very quiet. As it is a mini-suite, the balcony is fully exposed (not covered by the next deck as with most of the balcony cabins. This is a Category AA cabin on Emerald Princess.
This room was clean and didn't show any signs of wear with the exception of a few light luggage marks on the walls near the door. Otherwise, a fantastic cabin experience for us. Read entire member review.
D714 was right across from the laundry room, very handy. Because it's very far aft, we did a lot of walking to mid-ships and front to the theatre, but it's right in line with the food, both above and below. It was quiet and comfortable. Read entire member review.
The room was nice, I expected more for the money. There should be cushions on the chairs on my balcony, I have a suite for heavens sake. Put a coffee machine in the room, don't charge $3.00 for room service. You brag about the duvet, give me some feather pillows rather then the broken foam one. If you say dbl or queen bed, don't put together 2 twins, I can feel the middle when I am sleeping. My toilet clogged for the first 4 days. Maintenance came to my room at midnight when they finally fixed it and there was a bubbling sound in the bathroom for the remaining 10days. Read entire member review.
