Cunard: Simply the best. by RobertGraves
Cabin 8007 is at the highest cabin deck of the ship, forward, close to the bridge. We had some fear about the ship's movement there, but we had absolutely no problem, certainly also because of the nice weather. It was spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy, with a nice sofa and the usual mini-bar. It was kept in immaculate condition by our excellent stewardess Cathy. There was plenty of storage space. When the ship entered service there were complaints about lack of drawers, but this was quickly addressed and we had more storage space than we needed for 12 days. One issue is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Following Cunard's classical concept of cruising, these were available by room service. But no problem, as room service was free 24 hours a day, efficient and always arrived quickly. Let alone the wonderful variety in offer if you wished to dine in your cabin (the Thai plate was delicious, for example). Some people complain about the size of the bathroom - and particularly the shower. I guess this expectation comes from the beauty of the rest of the ship. But we found it to be adequate and neatly appointed, with ample shelf space in the sink. Moreover, beautiful Gilchrist & Soames toiletries were provided: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion. Also hair-cup, cotton, ear-cottonettes. Some other companies provide such items only in suite categories. Slippers and sparkling wine in embarkation are provided free for everyone. Also bathrobe to use on board - and you can buy it if you want. Fruit basket is provided, but you have to ask your steward for it. Last, after our smooth embarkation our luggage arrived here without delays.  Read entire member review.
Cunard light by dencruise80
8023 is across from the hall to the elevator. The light breeze comes into the room from the open door on the floor above. This changes the temperature in the room in the day and necessitates a thermostat adjustment at night. This may be why the room was dusty even though it was well cleaned. The room size was decent. The bathroom is typically small.  Read entire member review.
Tiny shower, wonderful balcony, near laundry ( this is NOT a good thing! The laundry is a battleground to be used at your peril if you can get in it!)  Read entire member review.

The desk had a large piece of paint chipped from the front.
There could have been one other "easy" chair. One of us sat on the sofa while the other had to sit on the hard chair if we were in the cabin either watching TV or eating from room service.
Only just enough space for clothes for 2 weeks. Would have been a squash for 120 days.
Shower was as small as it could be. Towels ditto. Would it have made too much difference for Cunard to have added a couple of inches to the towel in both directions?

A2 cabin - stateroom with glass balcony. Very adequate but certainly not airy. Well designed. Plenty of storage space. superb bathroom. Very clean and well kept. All furnishings good. Kingsize double bed - 6 foot. All-in-all very happy with it.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 835 is the first you see when you exit the lift and we thought it might have been noisy with people passing by on their way to there own staterooms but we had no problems with noise at all. Lots of storage space, great balcony,a great place to spend 16 days.  Read entire member review.

Clean and comfortable with avery comfortable bed, but no tea making facility. The Steward was a star, and we nominated him for Stardom
