Our three rooms at the aft of deck 2 were perfectly suitable

Good room. Close to the spa.

Room 1033 Spa Balcony, nice size room and gives you access to Spa.

My cabin number was 1074. I felt it was in a great location. Near the Lido Deck so sometimes at night you could hear the music coming from the Lido Deck, but it wasn't that noisy. The room itself was great. It felt spacious for the two of us. The bathroom was a decent size. The balcony was very small.  Read entire member review.
Good use of space in the cabin. The bathroom was as roomy and as well laid out as could be expected. We liked having a flat screen TV on the wall instead of taking up room in the cabin. We really liked having an adjoining room with our two teenage daughters. It gave us all our privacy but yet we could open the door between the rooms and all be together to talk. It also made it seem roomier. The decor of the Carnival's Splendor's rooms were a big disappointment though. For being a fairly new ship, the bedspread and throws looked old, faded and worn.  Read entire member review.

I was satisfied with our room. It was kept very clean by the staff and I was pleased to see how they decorated our beds every night with the animal folded towels.

The cabin was o.k. and clean. It is time for Carnival to update it's decor though and get rid of the pink!! The on / off button on the television remote was tricky to use and once I got the television on for the day, I left it on until I went to bed as I was concerned about not being able to turn it on again.

We had 1441/1445 connecting rooms. They were sized well for a non-suite. Even though it was the lowest level, there was not that much engine noise. My only complaint was that the shower stall overflowed somewhat frequently.  Read entire member review.
Room 2227 was just as good as the balcony cabin I had on Holland America. It was spacious for a cruise room, the window was plenty big enough to enjoy the light in the morning, the bathroom counter was nice and we had a full sized couch. We wanted a balcony but they were sold out. We were SO glad we didnt' book one b/c we never would have used it due to the cold weather on the at sea days.  Read entire member review.

Ocean view cabin #2235 was one of the larger cabins we have had in our 13 cruises. We had adjoining rooms which worked out great for the rest of our family. Room had plenty of storage space and closets. Bathroom also had great room compared to most other cruise cabins we have had in the past. Shower also had ample room to move around. Did not use the provided shampoo and shower gel as we prefer our own but it was nice to see they still offer the option. Overall we were pleased with the room. We did have some reoccurring noise issues from outside deck 3 but they were resolved quickly.

There is ONE 110 volt electrical outlet in the room, and it is a far as is physically possible from the bed. If you need an extension cord (medical device, anyone), they will lend you a HUGE cord for a $25 deposit.

There is a lot pf closet space.

The room was always IMMACULATE. The stewards work HARD.

Our cabin steward, Gary, was excellent. He was so pleasant and did a great job keeping our room neat.

our room was great!

This was one of the best cabins we ever had, and by far the largest. Oceanview's incorporate the exterior balcony space inside the cabin, so loved the additional floor space.

We had cabin 2355 on deck 2, mid ship. I have read lots of people say on here that if your cabin is mid ship and low you won't feel any motion. That is NOT true. We felt motion almost the whole cruise. I personally enjoy the motion but my friend does not and she had to take motion sickness pills the whole trip. We had an ocean view room with 3 people in it. It was a nice size room and we never felt cramped with 3 people in there. The window was large and we used the ledge to collect our towel animals for the week. Our room steward was all right, we left dishes in our room on a couple occasions and came back to them still sitting there which was annoying. We only saw him about twice the whole cruise.  Read entire member review.

It was small, but we werent in there other than to shower and sleep.

Excellent Cruise by Casinocim
2408 was a great ocean view cabin, nice size, fits 4 people. I believe it is below the galley, on our first night we had a horrible food smoke smell. Never smelled it again. Once in a while we could here a cart or something going along the floor up there but it was never a problem. Cabin is close to back elevators. On the opposite hallway there is a self service laundry which is not to far away.  Read entire member review.

nice cabin; plenty of storage. Loved the water pressure in shower and sink and air condition was fine. We only sleep and eat in cabin so not much else to tell you...

cabin was beautiful do not recommend room 2420 as it is close to elevator heard tons of noise in this room

Cabin with window was fine...too far at back of ship...could hear engines...asked to be moved but nothing available....otherwise a great cabin  Read entire member review.

Cabin was small, which is to be expected, and the people in the room next to us were super loud and left their balcony light on all the time, but it was wonderful being able to get fresh air, listen to and watch the waves, watch the sunset, enjoy a glass of wine, and look at the stars in the sky. I don't think I'll ever be able to sail without a balcony room again!

right above casino and within ear shot of the atrium lounge singer and music - slight noise until 1:00am - then very quiet and a great location overall.  Read entire member review.
Room 6367: Very efficient use of space. Great balcony. HATED the location over the casino band. Room was unpleasantly noisy until 1230 every night. Would NOT stay here again.  Read entire member review.
Great room, but loud location. We were port side with a balcony.  Read entire member review.
3 closets for our cabin. 2 of the closets had hangers, and the third had shelves. 4 drawers plus cabinet where safe is. Drawers under couch can hold more things if necessary. Location was great because it FAR away from elevators. You can hear people in the hall if they're being loud, but overall, very quiet. Hardly ever anyone out on the balconies, except for arriving and departing ports.  Read entire member review.

6397 - no complaints but a clock would be useful
6399 - interior room, good size
6371 - over casino, don't book this room

Hallway was a bit noisy as it had a service entrance right across. It was above a night club that was on deck 5. I could hear the bass through my pillows at times, but my wife said she never heard it. Overall we like it as it a very quick trip up to the back of the Lido!  Read entire member review.

Very very comfortable bed A little bit small but good for four days

Loved it!!! by VegasPinkGirl
Our cabin was very nice and roomy. Plenty of closet and shelf space for 3 women.  Read entire member review.
It was perfectly suited for our needs. When my husband and I were inside we were usually resting or getting ready for the next activity. Little things make me happy. My bed was made and my towels were changed twice a day. On our previous cruise we had a balcony cabin. I was afraid I would feel uncomfortable without even a window this time. However, my fears were unfounded.  Read entire member review.

Small but clean with a small balcony.

Small for a suite. Great staff, large balcony, comfy beds.

Loved our Ocean Suite. Last year we had the Grand Suite and it's bigger for sure, but this one was fine for our needs this trip. I may opt for the bigger one next time around because I enjoy a little bigger bathroom/vanity area.

We had balcony rooms, 7344 (my hubby, our son, and me) and 7348 (my mom), which were great rooms. We slept comfortably, and had the option of stepping onto our balcony to enjoy the ocean view and ocean breeze during our son's naps. Our son joined us on the balcony a few times as well, and, for any other parents wondering about the balcony and toddler safety, the weight of the balcony door, the height of the balcony railing, and of course the reasonable attention of a parent, all combine to ensure toddlers' safety. No worries. The rooms themselves are a good size, and we had enough closet, drawer, dresser and counter space for two adults and one child. My mom, who had one stateroom to herself had more than enough room for herself, and was able to easily accommodate her grandson on a number of occasions. Good location... near elevators, but not directly next to the elevators... so convenient and quiet.

This cabin was great. It had an upper and a lower which allowed for lots of floor space. It really helped to create an open, large feeling to the room.

It is near the laundry room on deck 7, which is also close to the center stairs and elevators.

Storage was plenty in both room closets and bathroom.

Room was mediocre..............ONLY 2 outlets for charging thing (Not even double ones) and 1 one is the bathroom, you MUST keep light on to use!!!!
Balcony was OK, but LOUD SMOKERS kept us from enjoying that!! SMOKE EVERYWHERE on this ship!!!!!!!

Great location in between passenger decks and close to the aft stairs and elevators making it easy to go up to the Lido and aft pool or down to deck 5 where all the public space is located.  Read entire member review.
Great time by skunklady

Loved this cabin. The balcony size was double that of a regular balcony state room. There was plenty of room for two people. The bed faced the balcony so you could just lay there and gaze out to the ocean. It was very quiet also. There is no couch, however there is a little table and the desk with two chairs. I would book this room again

Loved the view, the room and the balcony. Wouldn't hesitate to book this again.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful balcony, plenty of space. Room layout was great and offered a little more space than usual. Slight vibration when the ship is pulling in and out of port.

Loved our cabins 7441 and 8396, they are right near stairs and elevators, one/two levels to Lido Deck!

Cabin number 8379....This room is awful, unless you are DEAF! And please fix that dip in the floor.  Read entire member review.

We had a very nice Balcony, but the toilets overflowed 2x.

Carnival Splendor cabin 8207 located starboard (right) side, at the bow (front) of the ship on the verandah deck 8, just 3 cabins behind the bridge.  Nice balcony room with ample storage space.  Did feel a lot of movement in this cabin, but not enough to become sick.  Quiet cabin with balcony cabins above on lido deck, and below on empress deck.
I normally try to get a cabin with cabins above/below my cabin to avoid being below/above noisy public areas.  Not far from elevators.  Only one deck below lido deck so we usually took stairs to avoid waiting for a crowded elevator.  Cabin slept 3.  Tiny shower.  Read entire member review.
Great position on the ship, quiet, close to the stairwell, very close to alot of activities, you can see into the bridge from the cabin.  Read entire member review.

Big room, plenty of closet, shelving and draw space. Good size bathroom with shelves on either side of sink to hold personal items. View from Balcony when leaving NY is of the City Skyline and on the return the Statue of Liberty was right outside my balcony door. This room was near the glass elevators and conveniently located to the buffet and pools one deck above (cabins were directly overhead, nothing noisy) and also conveniently located to the shops and casino. In the evening one of the two entry ways to that area of the ship is closed to cut down on any noise or music that may be on down in the main bar area on Deck 3. It was never an issue for us.

Our cabin was much larger than that on the Carnival Sunshine (the bathroom was smaller, specifically the shower, so the bathroom took up less space). Our cabin steward, Sai, was great.

Cabin 8293. Great space, nice arrangement, really felt bigger than it was. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Very well laid out and functional. Location was pretty goo, quick access to lido deck but not as quick to lower floors. Balcony was nice and the glass door and big window made it seem bigger.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 8358 was great. had a nice view almost straight amidships.  Read entire member review.
Quite a Surprise by cruisinonnie

Balcony 8447 is AFT and the perfect location. Proximity to dining room, buffets and pool as excellent. Cabin location was very quiet. Engine vibration was minimal.  Read entire member review.

Loved being in the lido deck....same floor as the main restaurants and a lot of entertainment. At night time was the party was still going strong didn't hear any noise in our room. Balcony with a 2 year old who naps is a must!

This was our second cruise on the 9th floor balcony and we will not go anywhere else. It is very quiet as there are not many rooms on the floor, perfectly located to get anywhere with minimal use of stairs or elevators and easy to get to the pools and food.

New Years on the Carnival Splendor by
Our cabin was great. Tons of closet space. Maybe extra hangers, but who's complaining for a week! Bed was very very comfortable.  Read entire member review.
Interior cabin - a little small, but still comfortable. Toilet seats could be a little wider around the brim. Walls were a little paper thin as you can hear everyone walking by and they can probably hear us too.  Read entire member review.

The cabin itself was adequate, however; upon arrival the safe was broken and that took several phone calls and a better part of the evening to get someone to fix it.

the cabin had a TON of storage space (for 2), was always clean.

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of closet space we had. There was plenty of room for all our clothes. Plus, the shelves in the bathroom had more than enough room for our toiletries.

We had a balcony room on upper deck 6 and had a great room steward Sang he was very kind helpful & efficient in seeing to all of our needs. Our room was great the bed was a little harder then what i would have liked so we didn't care for that to much. We had plenty of room for our clothes & all i thought the closet space was pretty spacious. Our room was next to the elevators which i requested & i have to say i really didn't here to much noise or traffic all & all it was really a nice room.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was great. Be Aware if you have a Sensitivity to noise 2415 Oceanview is under Galley and Galley is a 24/7 work area. Bathroom, Storage, Proximity to Elevators, all good.

Love having a balcony, it makes the room feel bigger and it was nice to have a place to escape. Rooms were standard for a cruise, nothing special. Steward was great. Bed was really comfortable!

Great staff but low quality cruise by JerseyMomlovestoTravel

I did really like the room. We had a double bed and bunk beds for the kids. I thought it was more spacious than past rooms.
