Stateroom has carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.

Cabin was nice but the beds very uncomfortable. Attendants did nice job keeping the room clean.

We were in 1255. The cabin size is great. A little wider then the normal cabin and it does make a difference. I would not recommend this cabin because it is over a access door that is used during tendering. You can hear the equipment sqeeking and scraping all night long. Thank goodness for ear plugs.  Read entire member review.

LOVED the Splendor! by CanyonGirly
Cabin 1268: Perfect! Big, roomy, king & bunks, lots of storage, nice mid-ship location. Near the elevator which was nice, but any closer and it would have been too loud.  Read entire member review.

The only problem with cabin 1274 on the Carnival Splendor is there is nowhere to stow the ladder for the upper when not in use. So we put it behind the curtains. They need to put a hook on a wall.  Read entire member review.

Spacious, extra wide, clean and plenty of closet, drawer, shelf, and bathroom space. Great room steward!

Last minute get away by DANCING GRANDMOMMY
Our cabin was an ocean view and the standard Carnival cabin. If you have not traveled with Carnival before I will briefly say, they look just like the picture, one of the larger cabins in the industry for inside and ocean view. There is lots of storage for the items you bring with you and your room stewards with assist you in anyway possible.  Read entire member review.

Caboriffic! by newzboss
Oceanview room was wonderful. Would like a balcony next time; seeing the ocean out of my window spoiled me. The bathroom was small, but adequate. Shower was tiny, but water pressure and heat were comfortable. Closet and dresser space was very commodious. Bed was big enough and pillows were plenty soft. But...it's all about the view.  Read entire member review.

Huge oceanview room! Good closet and drawer space.  Read entire member review.

The room was great I paid $299 per person for an ocean view stateroom (5 night). Couldn't beat the price and the extra room and addition of the window definitely makes this a great compromise between the balcony and inside cabin.

This was a great location for us! Window was large and could see so much! We had connecting cabins, kids in one, us in the other. Door was propped open, nice and roomy we thought. Luggage went under the beds. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Only time we heard noise was when we were porting.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 1449 on Splendor was great. Typical basic OV category 6A. Never heard a peep at night except for one night when drunk/rude/pot smoking people were going back to their cabin at 2:30am. This cabin was exactly what we've had on previous 3 cruises so we were right at home and comfortable.  Read entire member review.

South American Splendor by Ocean Dancer
Machinery noisy, people quiet, hot, little or no air, stuffy, both of us got dry coughs, sore throats. Nice sized room, but window was dirty, never cleaned for seven weeks. Ironing room close by.  Read entire member review.

Not so Splendor by Kumafour
Cabin was quite nice, Plenty of room for the four of us. enough storage space for the excessive amounts of clothes we brought. Window view was always blocked by salt even after they cleaned it.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 2462: unique cabin with two windows and queen or two twins. It's a bit bumpy going in and out of port, but other than that was wonderful. I only wish they would clean the windows....they had a lot of streaks in them. There is a possibility that there could be a lot of families on this deck (Main deck) since it is less expensive, so you may have to contend with "kid noise." Good bathroom, nice shower. Lots of storage. I recommend this room if you want an ocean view on the Splendor.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 2548 – “Normal” sized cabin near the aft of the ship.Little passing traffic so don’t hear/feel passing traffic. Large window giving ample view of what needs to be seen. More than ample cupboard space, bathroom with shaver plug and enough shelves for our toiletries. Shower/taps have high pressure. Shampoo and shower gel dispensers in shower and soap, toothpaste supplied. One negative comment: Why do Carnival still use shower curtains instead of shower cubicles?
Cabin 2474 – Last cabin on deck, facing backwards, with a smaller window to the aft. One less cupboard than the previous cabin although sufficient. Due position and part of a two cabin suite, we have a “small entrance hall” with its own door, meaning at night we have a two door noise protection. Passing traffic absolutely minimal as last cabin on deck.Being a corner cabin, its larger than the norm.Only negative point is hearing the machinery when docking, both on arrival and departure, due closeness to, I assume, machines for securing the ship. Since at a most reasonable time, no impact on sleep quality.

cabin 6208 is actually a cabin for someone who is in a wheelchair. The main door automatically opens and doesnt shut for around 20 seconds. This is very handy when coming in with lots of bags or lots of drinks!!! plenty of closet space - in fact the whole cabin felt very roomy and thanks to the lovely Henni - it was always spotlessly clean.  Read entire member review.

Bigger than Norwegian. We usually get inside rooms; the window made the room seem alot bigger and the shelf provided extra storage space. Nice normal bathroom, without the ridiculous "shower curtain doors" I have read about on other ships. Bathroom HVAV could be stronger.  Read entire member review.

Enjoyed the Splendor by Enigmalady777
We chose an ocean view cabin on the Main Deck (deck 2) on the border line of the mid-ship and aft areas, close to the elevators. It was clean, roomy, generous closet spaces, abundant counter space, had a mini bar and safe, and for the most part was very quiet.  Read entire member review.
