Plenty of storage for people who like to cruise "comfortably". Had a "lip" on the floor outside door in hallway so when crewmembers went over it with a cart of dishes, you knew it. Standard Carnival decor. Seemed smaller than one we had on Fantasy, but sq footage about the same. Small but nice balcony. Read entire member review. |

Too much vibration, too loud, able to hear people talking in the hallway and slamming doors, constantly hearing noise from lide deck above Read entire member review. |

Our cabin 8341 was in the middle of the ships inside on the 8th deck. This was our first cruise on carnival and with this size room I will never go back to the tiny rooms on royal Caribbean. Our room was nice size and the storage was very adequate. When we got to our cabin we found it stocked with razors shampoo,we even had the robes to ware and a little fridge. Your standard carnival balcony is bigger than most. Our room was just below the lido deck inside dining. You may hear a cart every now and then go over during the day or in the morning. Plenty of room and storage for a four suitcase trip. The bathroom is standard, bigger than Royal Caribbean. I like the fact that the floor above extends out over the balcony. If it rains, you will not get wet on your balcony. Nice privacy with the dividers. No one is looking down on your balcony either. Read entire member review. |

Very clean and nicely situated. It was occasionally noisy due to being below the Lido deck, but not too bad. Read entire member review. |

Cabin: Balcony Cat. 8D #9222. Although our cabin was fine (love the size of Carnival cabins) our balcony was narrow. I am 56 with long legs, which almost touched the glass when seated in a regular upright deck chair.
We had a noise of water flushing or swishing during the night between 2 to 3 a.m. which woke us up most nights. At first I thought we had rough seas, but it continued during the week primarily at these very late hours. The only thing I could attribute it too was the huge Jacuzzi in the Spa up on deck 11 above us. Maybe it was set for automated cleaning each evening as the Spa/Gym was closed at that time.
You could hear everyone talking in the hallways. This is the first ship that I can say that I noticed this exterior noise. Read entire member review. |

Great cabin easily accessible to Lido deck but with none of the traffic to and from the pools or buffet ( no elevators or public rooms forward of these cabins". Good access to front of ship- really private area to observe arrivals and departures- no one knows its there) Read entire member review. |

Cabin number 9253 - balcony on the small side. Bathroom was adequate, but the shower area was a little small with just a shower curtain not a glass door. Plenty of closet space to hang clothes and plenty of shelf and drawer space as well. Suitcases fit great under the bed once unpacked. The room had a large couch area and coffee table in addition to the bed area. The hallway was quiet. Deck 9 is a very convenient deck to be on. Close to everything! Read entire member review. |

Our cabin, 9280, was PERFECT!! Plenty of closet space, shelves in the bathroom, hair dryer in the drawer, lots of drawer space, lighting was wonderful- very bright. Roomy. But as with all staterooms, it's still very hard to get two people in the doorway area. One of you has to move if the other wants by - that seems to be standard in all staterooms lol.
Very quiet even though we were on the Lido deck. So close to everything which made it really nice when you needed something for your room.

Carnival Freedom, Empress Deck, 7349
The last cabin on the starboard side with an extra long balcony. I loved this cabin because the bed faces the window and door, so as you lay in bed you get to look out at the water. It was fantastic! It was very quiet. You give up a couch for the larger balcony, but we didn't miss it. Read entire member review. |

Our Balcony stateroom on the Carnival Freedom was large enough for 4 people. There is plenty of space for storage. We like the aft part of the ship on deck 7. If you go on deck 8 you have the buffet above you and you hear the scraping of the chairs at times Read entire member review. |
