Our room was spacious (for an inside room) and was immaculately clean. Deck 7 is one of the few that runs "end to end" on the Freedom which made it very easy to get anywhere. Also, this room is almost exactly mid-ship, which makes it very convenient. this room was very quiet, except during parties held on the pool deck/Lido deck. It's work noting that we cruised at New Year's - so 5,000 to 6,000 passengers and crew were jumping up and down simultaneously almost directly overhead, 2 decks above, during deck parties! The only recourse is to join the party, or go to a quieter part of the ship - but you won't be going to sleep early on the nights of a deck party during a holiday cruise! If you have little ones or like to go to be early, I would choose a room forward or aft so you're not directly under the pool area (where the dancing and jumping take place) - especially on a holiday cruise. 8242 - Standard inside cabin towards the front of the ship. Good location, close to the elevators, but not too close. Plenty of closet space and roomy when set up as twins. Not sure how it would feel set up as a queen, might be tight. Read entire member review. |

Veranda deck 8 Forward Inside cabin is nosey with staff working behind the walls, could hear plates being stacked, conversations between staff memebers starting at 6:30 am.
Our cabin was in a very stable part of the ship. Could not tell you were moving at all.
Had a slight cigarette,musty smell.
Very happy with the location; one floor below lido deck and very close to pool entrance! Excellent! Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was really good. The location was good, there was little noise except a few little bumps when the Lido started up in the mornings. I can't believe they can figure out when you are out of the room so they can make your bed AGAIN. Thank you I Kadek Adhi Saputra. Read entire member review. |

Plenty of space for 2 people. Twin beds combine to a king bed which was very nice. We put our suitcases under the bed which worked out great. There are 2 hanging closets with a few hangers. One of the hanging closets does have a shelf at the top and some on the bottom. There is a cabinet next to the closets with several shelves. A few drawers are attached to the desk and some small storage space in the 2 nightstands. One of the drawers has the Bible and the hairdryer which is already plugged in through the drawer. There are a couple of counters to put stuff on and also a very small table that has the ships books on it, but these can be moved if you want to use it for something. Bathroom is a typical cruise ship bathroom. Small but functional. They do have body wash and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. A bowl of promotional items was included (razors, pepto bismol, etc.) Since this cabin is forward, you do feel some movement, but not too much unless the seas are very rough which we had a couple of nights. Did hear noise in the hallways a couple of times so if it is spring break or there are just noisy people in the vicinity of the cabin, recommend ear plugs. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9286 Carnival Freedom, Great location, large bathroom, large & comfy enough if you dont spend a lot of time in your cabin. Read entire member review. |

One good thing about the Freedom was that the cabins and even the bathrooms seem more spacious. I am not sure that is the best adjective to use since it is still a ship, but there was a noticeable amount of room in the cabin as compared with other cruise lines. Read entire member review. |
