Excellent layout. Watch out for the step into the bathroom over the small rail there. Nice balcony and rooms bigger than other cruise ships from what our friends have said and we saw on another line. Panorama deck is wonderful and quiet plus you feel less of the ship movement (waves) the farther up you go. Could you a few more in bathroom amenities such as razors, toothpaste, lotion, suntan lotion, etc.  Read entire member review.

Panorama deck forward, great balcony room and great location for ease of getting around the ship.

Nice location - deck 10 - high on ship; starboard side.  Read entire member review.

Balcony too small for a wheelchair. Chair in room too small for anyone over 150lbs. Couldn't use plug in bathroom as newer plug prongs won't fit. Door to balcony opens out and chair was in the way.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 6226 (Balcony) Was a port side cabin, with a spacious Balcony. We were pretty far forward. Very quiet. Occasionally could hear entertainment coming from the main lobby. Loads of storage space, drawers under the pull out couch.  Read entire member review.

great view, right above theater, very clean  Read entire member review.

We were in Cabin 6240, do not book this cabin or one near it! We were located above the main show lounge and taking a nap in the afternoon or even getting to bed early is nearly impossible due to the noise from the showroom. The cabin itself and the balcony were normal it is just the location above the showroom.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 6248 is supposed to be "port side" but we got the opposite view everytime. However it is very clean and has a large balcony. Noise isn't an issue in this cabin, and has clear 180 degree sight.  Read entire member review.

Decent sized cabin, with reasonable balcony, one recliner, small table and upright chair. Good shower, with plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. A very good location.  Read entire member review.

Great vacation by zumbafan
Our cabin was just right and the balcony was small but a great place to read and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The only negative is that we were near the lobby elevators and could hear the salsa music on our 2nd night--couldn't hear music any other evenings  Read entire member review.

our cabin was 6271. It was WAY to noisy. It is just off the attrium and main elevator areas. Late nights and early mornings, people were so very loud. This would only be a last resort cabin choice!  Read entire member review.

Carnival Freedom May 4 by Cruisin'Trooper
This ship is like all the other Carnival ships when it comes to the cabins. The balcony cabin is nice and comfy. Water is hot and the pressure in the shower is great. The only problem with this particular cabin and probably all the ones in our area of the ship was the all night thumping and noise from the casino and disco below. This is the first and last time we were on the 6th deck. Disco music, casino noise, and the karokee singing vibrated the floor and walls in the cabin everynight until about 2am. I honestly thought about sleeping on the balcony a couple of nights. The walls and floors must be paper thin! Stay on deck 7 or higher and you'll be okay, or stay on 6 and be in the forward section.  Read entire member review.

Decnet cabin size--great balcoy space -great closet space--we had 3 in room and had plenty of space for everything. Weird noises -and sometimes could heasr the disco.  Read entire member review.

Great cabin. located just around corner from elevator bank and mid ship. Plenty of space, luggage fits under bed. Plenty of closet space, although we did bring extra hangers. wonderful bedding! Almost didn''t miss our own bed at home. A balcony is the only way to go for us now we will never go back. Music could be heard from the deck below, but it never bothered us, we were too tired to notice!!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 6408 is over the disco and is very loud. Would not recommend this room for someone who does not stay up late. Cabin 9249 is a great cain, quiet and very nice.  Read entire member review.

We had a balcony cabin for the first time but smokers in the next cabin ruined that. Also the noise from clubs was un-tolerable.  Read entire member review.

6422 Base sounds and vibrations until 12:30am from below.Cabin is spacious,a lot of storage and nice decor. We loved the balcony.Close to rear elevators. A great room If noise doesn't bother you(I can't fall asleep without noise,so for me the room was perfect).  Read entire member review.

The cabin was great but you could kind of hear the nightclub in the evenings. We were one deck on top of it. It didn't bother me but I could see how maybe a light sleeper would hear it.

7208 - 8A balcony room. Motion more noticable than mid-ship (which we rather enjoyed) but bow thrusters really shake the cabin when docking the ship. Great access to 7 forward for late night star-gazing as you're right under the bridge with no lights to spoil the view.  Read entire member review.

Carnival Freedom not so good by cruisenowandthen
Our cabin was nice, quiet midship and not much movement. great view on port side of ship 3 nice closets.  Read entire member review.

Loved the balcony. Our steward, Sarge, was so nice. The bed kept slipping apart. I think the mattresses are a bit old in that room, but that was the only complaint. I can't believe how much fits into that tiny room. That floor plan, which we have had on a previous Carnival cruise is great. I like that your door does not open right into your space and the bathroom door shields you from the hall if it does get opened. Closet space was so good. We loved it.  Read entire member review.

Review of Freedom May 12 by cowboy cruisin
Cabin 7435 is one of the last balconies toward aft. There is an extra overhang fro Lido for extra protection against sun and rain. It is on the Empress deck so there are residences above and below making it quite. We experienced a slight vibration that was very relaxing. The room had a fridge. Very typical Carnival room - quite comfortable,  Read entire member review.

Cabin location was awesome! On Lido so close to everything! But not close to any elevator or noise making area! Will def do a Lido cabin again!

Great Trip by Greg M
We had a balcony, plenty of room, plenty of closet space, comfortable bed. Love balconies, can't go on a cruise without one now. Nice bathrooms too.  Read entire member review.

Loved being on Lido deck...where the pizza lives. The cabin was very comfortable with ample storage. Bed was perfect. Balcony was small and not really private, only a panel between and we had loud, smokers next door. Thought there would be a flooding problem with the door-less shower but it worked fine  Read entire member review.

Our balcony cabin was clean. The balcony somewhat small. Bathroom seemed larger than some I have been on. Closets adequate. Liked having a couch as well as beds.  Read entire member review.

We booked a balcony on the 6th deck port towards the back of the ship. Our cabin steward, Houston, was outstanding...the best we have had in 16 cruises. Remember, you now have to ask for ice. The room was great and we enjoyed it very much. Houston was on the ball with taking care of us and our needs. He seemed to almost always be working our section of the hallway and always greeted us by name and engaged us in conversation. Be careful of the noise from deck 5 in the late evening. Where we were located there was some noise from the comedy club area and the bar/music just forward of the club. It never kept us up as it was quiet when we went to bed at from 11 to 1. Deck 7 seems to work better since you have a deck of rooms above and below you.  Read entire member review.
