The location is forward, port. The balcony cabins start next door. We chose the room because we wanted light in the morning and took this step up from an interior. We were glad to see a floor-to-ceiling window but rarely had the curtains open because when open we had a view of the balcony next door and occupants there had a view into our room. We couldn't keep the curtains open at night because lights from the promenade deck were on all night. It was quiet, and convenient to get to from the forward elevators. There is limited drawer space as with all HAL ships of this class but there is a refrigerator. The bathroom has a tub. Because I like to keep the curtains open at night and wake to the sun I wouldn't choose this room again.
