Located towards the stern almost adjacent to the elevators/stairs on the port side. The room was of good size, with plenty of storage and a good size verandah. There was some noise from the Kitchen Galley below us and the Room Stewards store across the hall, but it did not bother us.

Cabin 4162 was a really good cabin. Located towards the stern on the port side. It was a quiet location, but there was a connecting door. We had very quiet neighbours, but a connecting door can give rise to more noise if you are not so lucky. There was a stewards work area opposite, but did not matter. We were very close to the aft elevators which brought you out to the Lido buffet entrance and just down the stairs to the dining rooms. It was a long way to go forward to the lounges and shops, but good exercise. Everything in our cabin was in good working order, and good condition. The bathroom was good, with one wall shaving cabinet a bonus for keeping things tidy. I don't like showers over the bath though, as the shower curtain is a nuisance. The water could have been a bit hotter at maximum temperature. There were lovely shower gels and shampoo etc in dispensers in the shower. Our veranda space was plenty big enough and we were mostly tied up to face the port view, so plenty to see. I would re book this cabin, no problem. Read entire member review. |

We had a Verandah, which had a balcony. It was a little small for 4 people, but next time we will book a bigger room. Everything was in excellent shape, except some of the cabinet doors were a little loose. The balcony was great, although the rooms on the even side of the ships usually have better views at ports. Our stewards were excellent, as was all service. The room was always clean, and there was almost no wear and tear. I couldn't be happier with the room. Read entire member review. |

| 8013 |
Our balcony cabin, 8013 was of sufficient size and offered ample closet and dresser space. The first day my wife noticed a sharp piece of metal protruding from under the bottom corner of our cabin door. This was the corner of the door that would first come in contact with your toe when opening it. Our cabin steward kicked the "knife" back under the door and while we doubt that it was a permanent fix it was never to be seen by us again. As always, the balcony was the most relaxing refuge aboard ship. We don't know if it is normal on this ship but we'd run from the bathroom upon flushing. The suction of the toilet resulted in an ear piercing POP! We aren't quite sure if the bed was as comfortable as it seemed or if we were simply exhausted from the seemingly many miles that we had to hike. It seemed every destination was all of the way aft. Stateroom 13 indicates how close it is to the front of the ship. FYI The ship's office, the excursion desk, dining room, theater, and adult only pool are all at the very rear of the ship. Aside from the children's area, and a couple curiously placed bars, we cannot think of much else, other than the ship's bridge, that was in the vicinity of our cabin. If you stayed at a resort you would not want for every destination to be a block or more away. As mentioned previously, always reserve a cabin at mid-ship. You'll notice, what's more, the majority of suites are also in the middle.
