A Caribbean Cruise by unaversatility
Cabin 1006 is a twin with the possibility of 3rd and 4th passengers. We had three in the cabin which meant that the sofa was made into a bed for my sister, a fourth passenger would have been in a bunk above the sofa bed which would have made the sofa bed quite claustrophobic but adequate for four close friends or relatives. The cabin has a window with an unobstructed view and is close to stairs and lift, also the theatre but no noise was heard upon retiring for the night. The Atrium starts on this deck and the Customer Service, Excursions and Future Cruise booking desks are here on this level also. The Medical Centre is just one floor below, accessible from the lifts near our cabin and no others. These lifts also go direct to the Observation Deck 10. All destinations were visited via gangways one floor below accessible via lifts and stairs at the Atrium area. The cabin was kept clean and tidy by the Stewards and we had a towel animal every evening and a chocolate when they came to turn down the beds and delivery our daily Explorer with the following days itinerary (we were able to arrange to have one each).  Read entire member review.
Noordam Room 1109: smelly, above staff kitchen and adjacent to crew space which was also very smelly when the door was open which was frequent. This room is not acceptable. This is a standard room on the Noordam and is the same on all levels, including rooms with balconies. The hallway where the closets are is across from the bathroom and very narrow. It is impossible to open the closet doors and walk to the bathroom or out of the cabin. There is a small seating area. Also a desk without drawers which is poorly lit overhead. This is where the makeup mirror is and therefore it is not very useful. A small outdated TV is above the desk.  Read entire member review.
We were in a veranda cabin that was right by the lifeboasts. Somewhat restricted view, but we had a lot of privacy.  Read entire member review.

4101. obstructed view. floor to ceiling window let in a lot of light. we had a winch in front of us and were able to get a decent sea view. quite area....unless the winch was on !!  Read entire member review.

The stateroom is clean and well maintained, on the smaller side, and the views are not impacted too much by the arms lowering the tenders just to the left of the verandah. Climate control is virtually non-existent, which is not acceptable for the Mediterranean in July.

Good location: close to the elevators that went up to the Lido deck. Good view from balcony. No noise.  Read entire member review.

A little old fashioned, but clean and well looked after. There was a little vibration when the ship started up, but that didn't worry us. A tiny amount of soot on the balcony one morning, but very little.

We were in Veranda cabin 4179, which was right at the back of the ship, a good size, clean and comfortable. Despite the position it was relatively quiet, although we did get a lot of noise and vibration from the engines when the ship was close to maximum speed. Thankfully this was very rare.

Bathroom was a bit small, and shower felt dark.  There was a small bath.  Plenty of drawer space.  Dressing table was a little small.  Noticed there wasn't as much info on tv as in previous cruises, couldn't book trips or view menu, or access your bill.  So much paper sent to rooms, advertising etc.  Was a daily 'paper' either UK and US.  Balconies ok, but perhaps chairs could be more comfortable.  Had breakfast in room a few times, always arrived on time, and what we asked for.  Was not cleaned one day, but when we told cabin steward was most apologetic.  Read entire member review.

What a fine ship by 77ozzie

We like the back of the ship and this wrap around sundeck was spectacular.
Our great friends had the cabin at the opposite site of the ship (5090)>.
Spacious, excellent layout...and very fine size.

Suite 6166. Wonderful balcony ruined by adjacent heavy smokers.

Overall a good experience by Manchesterfield

We had an inside cabin. It was comparable to an inside cabin we had previously. There was plenty of space under the beds for storage. Lots of wardrobe space. The only thing I would comment was there was no drawers just shelves for storage. There was a good quality hair dryer provided along with elemis toiletries including shower cap, a bar of soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The whole cabin was incredibly clean. The cabin stewards were very impressive. Nightly towel animals were made. Dressing gowns were provided in the room. Beach towels for port usage were provided which were large and of a high quality. A Holland America tote bag was provided. Nightly chocolates were provided. Information on ports was provided in advance including maps and tips of what to do and see. Each day a daily activity leaflet was provided which was comprehensive.

We had an inside stateroom (7026) on deck 7. The room was nice and roomy and we had more than enough storage for everything we brought on board. The AC/Heating worked perfectly well the entire trip. Our room attendant Kay and her partner Sam were absolutely incredible! Our ice bucket was always full, the room was always clean and we had different towel animals in our room every night.

Cabin clean and tidy but did not show on the ships plan.

Cabin was nice - mid ship on 7th deck. Try a lower deck for less rocking. No window, didn't know if it was day or night. Beds were great! With rocking you fell asleep any time you lay down. Cabin was small but we had three big closets so it was fine.  Read entire member review.
Celebrating Me by lewsyl
Cabin 7125 was a quiet location, I never heard noise in the hall unless it was a steward delivering something I requested to my room. My veranda, although not as large as depicted online was enough space to be enjoyed by 2. There was plenty of closet space and hangers. The cabin was cleaned daily- stewards were great. The turndown service was too cute (chocolates/little towel animals)!  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin, #8045. It was quite spacious with good storage. There is a hide-a-bed couch right inside the door. Niceplace to stretch our and read, with a good light source above it. Our room steward, Amin, was very efficient and frequently asked us if everything was all right. The door-closing device on the inside of our bathroom door came apart and maintenance was on it right away. Several different departments called us or stopped by to confirm that the problem was taken care of. There was some vibration in the cabin. Not sure what caused it, but we were right below the Lido pool area so perhaps that had something to do with it.

Terrific mid-ship location! As I mentioned, the room was tired. You will be pleased to know though that as off August 2014 the cabin has a nice, shiny new toilet seat. My only real complaint is that the Lido Deck is directly above this room and the noise from deck chairs and tables being moved around could grow annoying.

Our cabin (8112) was located under the pool but we did not have any noise problems whatsoever. We found the placement convenient. Our cabin was a decent size and having a balcony was great. Our cabin was a VF category but prior to our cruise the same cabin was a VA.

Excellent cabin with a roomy balcony. Air condition was not easy to balance.

Classy Cruise by mermaid72
Quiet midship location. Ample closet & storage space. Obstructed view is ok, as you save money.  Read entire member review.

A/C problem; bath older and not clean looking. Lower cabin with no windows had newer, cleaner look.

We had an Inside cabin, on the small size, otherwise excellent  Read entire member review.

We had a guaranteed Verandah Stateroom with our allocated room on Deck 6 by the rear lifts. However, we didn't hear a sound from the lifts and our air-con worked perfectly throughout. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable - we did sneak a look at some of the other staterooms and they all looked equally impressive.
